just about to embark on the bonus chapter ... this game has EVERYTHING! the animation is FIRST CLASS ... the storyline is thoroughly entertaining and the plot twists are a welcome sight ... the ARTWORK is STUNNING! ... every character is just wonderful ... the GAMEPLAY is just fabulous, unique, smooth, creative and keeps you moving every step of the way ... the MUSIC IS THE BEST THING ... i just LOVE the music and the way it interacts with EVERY aspect of the game, how unique it is ... i LOVED the SONG HO ... the acting and voiceovers are PERFECT ... it has been a LONG time since i have seen a game of THIS CALIBER ... and i love the ACTION at the end when i am defeating the villian ... MAD HEAD is absolutely the most IMAGINATIVE, CREATIVE, ARTISTIC, AND TALENTED developer ... i thoroughly enjoyed the CREDITS at the end and am so happy to see the artists behind this creation ... YOU HAVE MADE ME SMILE AND LAUGH... and i will play this game over again and again ... that's my little 2 cents ... HA!

full game ... i'm giving it 4.5 stars ... the artwork is FABULOUS ... the storyline is familiar of course, but well done ... mini games and HOs are fun and interactive ... GAMEPLAY is smooth and keeps you moving throughout the locations ... it's not that i needed a higher level of challenge, but the minigames were almost at the 5 star range ... i liked the HOs' variety ... so ... this was worth buying and playing ... one of the better games i've seen lately ...
I recommend this game!

even when there are negative reviews, i've got to see for myself ... the stoyline could have been ok, tho in the beginning i thought very juvenile ... however as the demo progressed it was ok ... the gameplay, however leaves a lot to be desired ... HOs just weren't very fun ... there are no story clues when you are accessing active areas, so its hard to follow where you are going and how to find the tools to get there ... were there 2 mini games? ... can't remember ... i just can't spend my money on this one ... coulda shoulda ..

this one was a welcome surprise in the middle of the week ... i'm half way thru the game, and the characters and their illustrated quality is different ... i even had to laugh at some points, just because Ms. Kruez tickles my funny bone ... i love the quality of the voices and the accents ... though there are HOs and mini games ... not too many and the game keeps you DETECTING thru the plot ... it reminds me that halloween is coming ... i am just enjoying its CREEPINESS!!! ... lol ...

the storyline is GREAT and the twists and turns of GAMEPLAY are wonderful ... every mini game and HO is interesting and just challenging enough... i am really enjoying this one ... this game TRAVELS i.e. it keeps you moving right from the beginning with lots of locations ... i like the way you have to travel to the shadow world to pick up objects ... there is continuous interaction with the characters ... the music is varied which i like and appropriate for the game, tho i always prefer something a bit more "modern" ... there is just LOTS TO DO in this game ... just what i look for ... the artwork is great too ... whenever there are games with "special powers" i tend to forget that they are there ... in this game they are INTEGRAL to the game, so you are using them all the time .. the devs did a very good job on the planning and creation of this game ... A BIG THUMBS UP FROM ME! ... thank you!!

i thought i reviewed this one yesterday ... but it didn't show up ... anyway ... the artwork is exceptional ... i LOVE the TREE WITCH! ... game play is smooth and the pacing is great ... the interaction works with the quest in just the right pacing ... the portals are pretty standard, but the other worlds are UNIQUE and charming ... music is really beautiful and varied, which is one of the things i look for ... i really enjoyed the BONUS game! ... the mini games seemed challenging to me at times, but mostly because i had to spend a lot of time just trying! ... HOs are pretty standard, and just the right amount! ... so glad to see a NEW game that isn't too short ... thank you!

this is a great concept ... but i really MISSED a more thorough and smooth interaction throughout the game ... the adventure aspect of the game ... too many HOs and they were at times tedious ... i can play mahjong but i get bored with that ... the QUIET while playing the HOs made it more un-fun ... could've done a LOT better with the music ... not that it was bad; on the contrary i liked it, but it just didn't bring the "locations" together ... and the GAMEPLAY just didn't keep moving ... the artwork is still wonderful, but technically the continuity was not a winner for me ... if you REALLY just want to play HOs with a great storyline, this is the game for you ... could've been better ...

this is a good game with great artwork and editorial concept ... i wasn't crazy about the HOs where many of the items were so disproportionately small they were hard to find, and not interactive ... also, some of the continuity in game play was a little frustrating ... finding the tools you need to move on was really back and forth, i mean into the future of the game and then back to the beginning ... could've been better ... lots of locations, but not a lot of travelling, which i prefer ... but still it's a good game ...
I recommend this game!

based on entire game and bonus game ... very good quality all the way thru, both technically and editorially ... loved the mini games and HOs even though they were not TOO challenging ... i especially LOVED THE ARTWORK throughout this game ... it just gets better and better! ... the storyline was good and kept my attention ... i love having the "helpers" that are part of the storyline .... i ESPECIALLY liked the CREDIT video at the end!!! ... i love seeing the developers and their work! ...
