based on entire game ... but not the bonus yet ... this is a GREAT game, but i couldn't go five stars ... the storyline is good, but i guess i just wasn't into the kids ... some of the transitions were a bit slow to play out ... but MAD HEAD is one of my favorite devs so i gotta give them a shout out ... of course the graphics HOs and puzzles are worth playing ... wish i could be a bit more enthusiastic ... but i know there are more to come!
I recommend this game!
The rat catcher's after more than rats this time. He's kidnapping fairy folk!

completed game ... strong inspiring and fantastical STORYLINE ... i LOVE all the different FAIRY creatures ... the leprechaun and the trolls ... GREAT gameplay, very smooth ... everything keeps moving and the UNIQUE HOs never fail to interest and provide FUN! ... the puzzles had a couple of glitches ... the ring in particular you have to FIGURE out how it works ... but overall a truly worthwhile game and the artwork was STUNNING ... i thoroughly ENJOYED my time with the FAIRIES and the mythologies were right on! ... please keep them coming!!! ... and NO technical difficulties except for the couple of puzzle glitches ... soooooo happy with EIPIX for that! ...
I recommend this game!

based on the demo ... this is a must play for me ... i've been playing two-year old games cause i haven't found anything NEW lately ... ho's and puzzles are different and FUN to play ... this game keeps you MOVING! ... i really like that ... AND the sound effects are GREAT! ... i have to reserve the 5 stars for really exceptional, but this comes close! ... one to ENJOY!

based on the trial ... this is a MUST PLAY for me ... i LOVE the characters ... the PUZZLES are so much FUN! ...the storyline is interesting and compelling ... the HOs are different and so interactive ... been waiting for a game like this! ... and NO technical difficulties ... whoooooray! for ADVENTURES! ... even though i prefer a somewhat more "adult" storyline, i really NEED a FANTASY too! ...
I recommend this game!
Guests keep disappearing from a gimmicky haunted hotel. Is there someone pulling the strings, or are these ghosts actually real?

lots of locations and i like that ... hos were ok though pretty easy; puzzles pretty good, but not spectacular ... not a problem for me, but several of the items you are looking for in the game, not the hos, are mis-named and confusing ... the artwork is great, but there is NO MUSIC ... so i found myself not having the FUN experience that i look for ... it seems like a long game, which i also like, but there's something about the continuity that makes it a bit tedious ... still its a decent game ... i bought it because i have everything else! ... still playing ... will keep this one for my "background" game ... always looking for the 5 star games, but today it's only 3 ... this game is ok, but it needed a bit more attention to GAMEPLAY, speed and connecting the story to the search ... and of course FUN ... i did laugh at the comments "this place is messing with my mind" ... i LOVE those snarky comments ... i want fun! ... give it to me! ... at least there are no technical difficulties ... yaaayhh!

i tried this game a LONG time ago ... there must have been some reason that it didn't work for me; could be the demons!... but over this weekend i have been re-trying several older games ... i found it to be INTRIGUING with smooth gameplay ... a lot of HOs but not TOO many ... i enjoyed the puzzles which were mostly putting elements together especially the 3d items ... based on the full game but not the bonus, i think it's worth playing ... of course i would like to see a newer version with more bells and whistles ...
I recommend this game!

the concept is good ... and the HOs were fine ... not too many and the puzzles unique and interesting ... however ... the gameplay was tedious ... i played the whole game thru and the bonus game ... it's a good example of an "older" game without the smooth bells and whistles of newer games ... i am certain that i played the trial SEVERAL times before and didn't buy ... and may have even RAILED at the map, the hint button which never tells you anything ... the gameplay just wasn't integrated thoughtfully ... i don't like to use the hint button, but this game was SOOO SLOW to get you to any TOOLS it was frustrating, especially in the beginning ... it took too long to get going!!! ... you CAN travel with the map, but it is really not that helpful ... i don't usually depend on the map, but with this game its pretty much essential ... i spent my time playing today because there are NO better games without technical difficulties right now ... and i was bored out of my gourd ... smile ... i recommend for a day when you really want to play and have no better games in front of you ...

i was very excited to see the HD graphics and the great animation ... good storyline ... the gameplay was pretty smooth ... but the HOs were challenging ... i play a lot of HOs and these were ... frustrating ... i can't pinpoint why they are so troublesome! ... and the DOUBLE HO play really was time consuming and took away from the game ... would have been better to have more individual HOs which were more FUN, less work ... the game concept and is good ... i'm almost done with the game ... and initially i thought this would be a 5 star winner! ... but it was just ok ... major points for the artwork though ... on the motion of the mouths while talking, i am wondering if the artist doesn't just change the whole bottom jaw and move the jaw down a couple pixels so that the people look MORE like they are really talking, instead of just working on the mouth area ... this was really evident ... i didn't mind the "jumping eyebrows" though ... smile!!! ... this kept the upper area of the face animated! ... do better next time! ...

this would have been an EASY BUY for me but the gameplay technically is horrible ... even moving from selection to selection is hesitant and slow ... i LOVE the whole concept and the SILLINESS! and the storyline! ... but the cursor is atrocious ... so i just can't PLAY! ... too bad for me! ... good for others i guess ... boohoo!
