Superb game! The graphics are gorgeous. The story is integrated well with gameplay. HOS are interactive for added enjoyment and often like a regular scene, not the usual random collage. The puzzles are fun and average not mind-bending. The map indicates areas with active tasks and allows for travel. The Hint will take you directly to your next task so you may want to choose Expert for more challenge. The CE has morphing objects, achievements and a couple of short Bonus plays. I really have nothing negative to add. One of the best games I've played lately.
I was so hesitant about trying this game but I am so glad that I did. The graphics are wonderful and the story is exciting. I didn't even miss that there weren't any voice-overs. The whole game is very interactive, even HOS. Puzzles weren't too hard but interesting. The map indicates available actions but does not allow for travel. The Hint also states the next available action. Really, the best part is the way the plot is so integrated with gameplay. You also get to collect origami as you go. Was pleasantly surprised how well this game was put together. Only wish it had been longer.Glad I played this one before "In the End", next on my list.
Vampire Legends: The True Story of Kisilova Collector’s Edition is an incredible adventure based on the true story of the first documented case of vampirism ever!
Good game. I had a lot fun playing this one. The story is intriguing and I love how well it is intergrated with gameplay. This isn't the most challenging of games but it provides a couple hours of entertainment. HOS and puzzles were fun but simple. There is not alot of backtracking as items are often used quickly. The graphics are well done. Voice acting and some items could have been more accurate to 1725 Serbia. I will admit at times it felt more like a movie rather than a game but sometimes that's exactly what I like. Different moods for different games. This type for an enjoyable, relaxing experience. However, the whole game is pretty short. It has a great bonus chapter though, which seems more task driven than regular play. The CE doesn't have any collectibles. There are some interesting extras relating to the actual Kisilova. Overall, decent game.
Surface does it again. I loved this game. It is unique and enthralling. Game play is smooth and cohesive. The story progresses nicely throughout. HOS have the perk of requiring inventory items for completion and do not dominate the game. Areas are well contained and tend to move forward so there is no severe backtracking. Puzzles are fun, original and sometimes challenging. Graphics are extremely well done. However, the voice-overs are painfully out of sync with the sound. I can forgive this given the rest of the game was so entertaining. Great!
I really wanted to like this game. The story was OK but it progresses slowly only picking up near its conclusion. The live action was different. I appreciated the effort they went to making the game as real as possible and it was beautifully done. That's the up side. I found the game play very tedious and there were entirely too many HOS. The few puzzles were alright, probably the best part. There was too much walking around to do menial tasks that had nothing to do with the mystery. I found myself Hinting my way through just because I was bored and wanted to get to the end. I looked more forward to the videos than I did the objectives. It deserves more than 3 stars for effort but I could not bring myself to give it 4. Just not for me.
For the most part I enjoyed this game. The graphics and story were good. It definitely is more task than plot line, which is perfect for some people. There is a lot to do. There is also more HOS than I prefer and some items are quite small. Saying that, the main point you'll find is a that it is a challenging experience. Some thinking is required here. Unfortunately, some of the puzzles were too hard for me and I had to Skip more than I care to admit. It provides a map that indicates objectives but there is no travel. Although areas are somewhat contained there is a lot of back and forth. The Hint button states the next desired action if you get stuck. I was slow starting this game but it truly gets better as you go. Knowing I liked The Bride kept me going. In the end, with the right mood it was a nice change from easier games. Looking forward to the next one.

The Grim Facade series has quickly become a favorite of mine. I love the stories, how they progress logically and continue to keep you immersed in the plot. The voice-overs are some of the best I've heard and the graphics are always soft and colourful. I think the difficulty is fairly average, puzzles and mini-games. HOS are easy and do not dominate gameplay, which is nice. The back and forth is limited so that there is no urgent need for a map. Items are often utilized in close proximity to where they are found. I enjoy collecting coins to buy useful items in the store and gathering fans for hints. I try to see how many Hints I can accumulate as they are not usually used. It's true it is not a complex game but that does not take away from the fun factor. Sometimes I look for a challenge but if you are looking for a pleasurable, relaxing experience you can't go wrong here.
I wasn't sure I would like this game when I bought it but I'm thrilled I finally played. At the start, I was struck by the soft, bright colour scheme. And although Otherworld is darker it is just as brilliant. You meet several unique characters along the way that really make you feel part of the story. HOS varied a little in style and were quite short and simple. Full of mini-games and puzzles that were fun and not mind-bending. However, some did become a bit repetitive. A map is eventually provided that lets you jump to certain scenes but was minimally helpful with game play. Although, there's not too much walking in each area. The Hint states your next move if needed and even aids with puzzles. I thought this game was creative and entertaining. I enjoyed the variety of locations and characters. And don't forget to collect the Fairies. Nice and long. .
This game was a pleasure to play. From the onset I felt myself pulled into the story. The graphics are lovely and characters were appealing. I found game play just challenging enough. HOS were clear but not too easy. Most puzzles were average with some hard ones thrown in. I love an interactive map feature. For those who do not you can turn it off. It also offers 3 levels of difficulty. I adored collecting and combining scents (some I'm glad I coudn't smell). Keep your eyes peeled for Fleur-de-lis (sometimes a tiny X, I'm ashamed to say I missed quite a few). Topped off with a nice Bonus Chapter. A delightful game all round.

Now this is what it's all about. I loved the first Sacra Terra and this one did not disappoint. The graphics are stunning. The story is intriguing. A map with available actions is provided. HOS are clear and not too difficult. Puzzles are challenging without being impossible. It all adds up to a fabulous game that flows smoothly and entertains thoroughly. It's practically perfect.
