I liked this game a lot, especially when the demo ended leaving me with a gruesome possibility. Your friend is kidnapped before your eyes and you try to rescue her. The game was interesting and fun and, as usual, Eipix combined the perfect music to enhance the storyline. I did not like having to unscrew each screw, it reminded me of the old games with tedious requirements. The HOPs were same-old, same-old, and I was surprise since it's game developer is one of my favs. The challenge was good and gave me that sense of urgency to press on. The only critique for me is the storyline, not giving me enough information to want to find out how it ends. I recommend this one, it will keep you entertained. Thanks, Mia.
I had to comply with this one and buy the game, and with the 'FALL' coupon code, I got to get my other 'must-have' CE, too. This is a great game. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and disappointed the demo ended. It was fun and challenging, and the HOPs were unique, not the usual hunt and click type. Okay, so you are a demolition expert-in-training and you and your teacher/boss have been called to take down this eerie tower that was supposed to be a technological marvel. However, something goes terribly wrong and people start disappearing. That's when the town decides to blow it up. Well, the tower is run by this virtual computer named S.A.R.A. that has a 'mind' of it's own. The demo storyline gives you just enough to make you want more and I cannot wait to find out how it all ends. This is exactly my favorite type of game, no faeries and lovable characters to assist, just common sense and fly-by-the-seat of your pants intuition. Combined with great visuals and the right music, this one will keep you busy and on edge. Play it in the dark with just your computer screen on....scary. Thank you, Mia. :)
I recommend this game!

OUTSTANDING ADDITION TO THE SERIES, TRUE EIPIX FORM
Wow, this game was well designed with the hidden objects fan in mind. I love this series, it always scares me to death and I get so involved I forget the time. Speaking of time, I took my time with the demo to experience all the quality this game offers, with 16 minutes to spare. The opening credits are spectacular and grabbed me instantly; and the details (right down to the bugs on the wall) are very well done. Of course, as with all Eipix games, the music selection compliments the storyline and gave me that sense of urgency that I look for in a good game. Even the HOPs were unique to the storyline and it all tied together as a whole, as it should be, in my opinion. The facts are presented, but left to the imagination, when you get a letter to get to your estranged sister who is at a scary, creepy resort in the Oregon mountains. I still don't know why they can't just leave, but the creepy guy in this one says he studies 'the dark.' I did not feel the need to pick this apart, technically, as I was so engrossed in the game, it just didn't matter to me. This is a must buy for me, I have to find out how this all works out, and who lives and who dies. Thanks, Mia
I like the game, I would have liked it better, had their musical score supported the graphics. The story begins with a tragic accident involving the main character's parents, in which she finds a strange artifact that comes to life after she grows up. There is a lot of inventory to keep track of, but it does keep you busy and challenged. The storyline presented in the demo lacked the 'wow' factor and left me scratching my head, not wanting to know how it ends. I will pass on this one, but I will recommend it for new players. Thanks, Mia.
I did enjoy this game, simply because it was made like the game developers used to make them, and back then it was top of the line stuff. It is a true hidden object game with lots of HOPs. The challenge was fine but the visuals were a bit amateurish and so was the music. The storyline made no sense to me and, while I love to read, reading the entire story was tiresome with no voice overs. Still, the demo was enjoyable and flowed easily, but I will not be buying this one. I recommend it for beginners. Thanks, Mia
This game has that wow factor that makes you want to keep playing. The fun begins when you, as the detective, must find a colleague who also happens to be the boss' daughter. She is involved with something that is terrifying and turns people to stone. I especially like the fact that you can choose your gender as the speaking voice. The visuals and sound track compliment the game and are very well done. The challenge is just right for me with the mini-games and HOPS requiring a little more time to complete. The storyline is the best part and gave me that hook at the end of the demo when the colleague shouts "Forgive me my love." THAT made be buy it. Get this game, you won't be sorry. Thanks, Mia.
I love the Fear for Sale series and the designers made this one exceptional. From the very beginning you are immersed into the spirit world to unlock the secrets of a couples' disappearance years ago. The attention to detail always brings a smile to my face, so click on everything to find out what it does. This was a super fun game keeping my tummy in knots. I barely finished the demo in time forgetting where I was. The visuals are awesome and the music complimented the theme. The mini-games and HOPS were standard, but I love how they make you work to get into them. Indeed, they were purposeful and unique to the game. I felt it was challenging enough for me and kept me focused. The storyline is exceptional and of course I gotta know how it ends. This is a must buy for me to add to my collection. I highly recommend this game to all. Thanks, Mia.
I had to earn those goosebumps though, this game keeps you busy and on the edge of your seat. You are instructed to protect archeologists as they enter the tomb of an ancient leader. It was fun and challenging, two qualities ever present in my favorite game developers' games. Of course, the visuals and graphics are outstanding, but the real beauty to the game is the storyline and how the music compliments it. I actually felt like I was in China. EIPIX writers have a way of letting you identify with it's characters and 'get involved.' No one tops their opening credits which are spectacular. The surprise ending to the demo left me with my goosebumps and wanting to know how the H.E.L.P. agents get out of this one. An automatic buy for me, CE or SE, you can't go wrong with this one. Thanks, Mia. :)
I really liked this game. A witch returns to get revenge against her perpetrators from 500 years ago, involving an innocent woman whose ancestors may have also been witches. The opening credits have that wow factor to keep you motivated. The graphics and music are well done. This is a challenging game with interesting HOPS and mini-games that are unique to the storyline. The storyline is one we've seen before and was lacking in the punch at the end of the demo to make me want to know how it ends. Otherwise, this is a very entertaining episode in the series, you won't be sorry. Thanks, Mia. :)
This is a solid 4 star game for me. Just like the CE demo, it is challenging enough and keeps you busy. I am a little disappointed, to the thought process and attention to detail that is lacking from what I'm used to with one of my favorite game developers. Eipix is usually excellent with their music. The musical score, for example, would build up, but die down in awkward places, lessening my sense of urgency and the desire to continue. The graphics were very good and I love the fact that the inventory uses unconventional ways to open things in order to move on. The HOPS and mini-games were complimentary and unique to the storyline, which centers around the murder of a rich mining tycoon with a variety of suspects. It is not clear who the bad guy is, always leaving the player wanting to know more and see how it ends. I recommend this game, it is a great addition to the Dead Reckoning series. Thanks, Mia :)
