Although I do love card solitaire games and there are many other good ones around, this unfortunately did not hit the mark. The idea and storyline are good, gameplay kind of resembles much better games like Legends of Solitaire or Avalon Legends Solitaire, but that's where the similarities end. The visuals are nowhere near as good although I did like the music. Gameplay is rather boring and does not offer any challenge until you get at the last level. However, the worse culprit was certain bugs I encountered. The adding up of time (at the end of each round), suddenly jumped to 200 on level 2 which was wrong. Then when I bought a sword from the shop at the end I could not see or use it, even though I had paid the gold pieces. For these reasons I would steer clear of this awful game.
This was really not a bad game, with nice graphics, sound and a promising storyline. Three celebrities have disappeared in a mansion and you are tasked to find them. The game has many different areas to move around, although I did prefer the ones inside the mansion as they are more creepy. There are hidden objects galore, some really pretty others more obscure. There are also extras in the CE edition such as an extra chapter. My favourite part of this game is that there are tons of puzzles, however the majority are on the easy side (all except 2 or 3) so this game is more suited for beginners.
A new breed of virus has spread throughout the City of Oxford. You must search the city for a missing girl who holds the key to stopping the global epidemic!
The storyline was pretty interesting with a town infected with an outbreak of a virus, the only hope resting in finding the survivor of twin girls who carried the antibodies needed to fight the disease. However this is as far as the girly stuff goes I'm afraid. This game is more suited to men and is not really appealing for us girls as there are lots of mechanical scenes, problems and manly HO's to solve. The voiceovers and cut scenes are good, but the graphics leave a lot to be desired. The HO scenes are different and interesting, however they are junk pile type and the lack of pretty things to find is a negative. I also did it on the hard level but found it very easy to do, so for beginners only I'm afraid. Could have been better. For these reasons I do not recommend this game.
As someone who loves whodunnits I think this could have been so much better. Sound and graphics were ok although a little dated. The story about a murder mystery in a mansion was excellent and there was a helpful casefile with all the information. However the game did have its' flaws. Firstly there were too many HO scenes, would have preferred more puzzles. The inventory sometimes displayed the objectives instead of items as they were both very near each other. Finally, areas where problems had been solved were still highlighted with a magnifying glass, making you think that there was more to do in that scene. It did get rather tedious towards the end so for those factors I am not recommending this.
This was a great game to play. Your daughter has been kidnapped by an evil witch in a deserted school and you have to find her and stop the witch's sinister plans. This game is all adventure and puzzles which is great. Plenty of locations to explore and problems to solve. These type of games together with the Grim Facade series are among the best that ERS has to offer. Will appeal to all but especially males as there are many mechanical puzzles and contraptions that are more their cup of tea.
I recommend this game!

I played this on the hard level and I did like it. You are in the role of Dracula trying to save Mina with the help of Van Helsing. The game's artwork and voiceovers are great, and the HO scenes are lavishly coloured and detailed, so much nicer than the junk pile you get in some games. There are many mini games and puzzles, some quite original. Although most were easy to medium hardness I am glad to note that there were three or four which were harder, which is excellent news for veteran players. My only negative concerns a glitch or bug that kept on freezing my mouse pointer for a couple of seconds and it happened quite often.
This is an enjoyable match three game, similar to 'around the world in 80 days' but easier. The reason for this is the sun power up which constantly helps even the novice players to get through levels quickly. There are also many other power ups that you can collect. The game is all about collecting pieces from artifacts that fall down the bottom of the board when you make 3 or more matches. The game is good, but I did find it rather easy until the last two countries, but even then anybody should be able to complete it with all the power ups available. Nice for the less experienced player, fun for others too.
This game is nothing short of breathtaking and addictive, offering infinite replayability. Sadly, they do not seem to make this type of game much anymore. I would love to see a true follow up to this game. It may not have the latest graphics or other fancy stuff, but the gameplay is amazing. It starts off easy but slowly gets harder providing a real challenge, something so rare in today's too easy games. I also love collecting the parts of artifacts by making them fall out of the bottom of the grid. For those of you who like a proper challenge look no further. This is the one.
What can I say? This game is nothing short of absolutely amazing. This is my favourite match 3 game so far, it is such an improvement on the original, which was too easy. There are great graphics together with a sinister soundtrack and there are puzzles you need to solve using the match 3 mechanism. The developers have been smart enough to add a timer which makes the game harder and much more challenging, but those who like less of a challenge have the option to play without it. The same is true for the various power ups, if you want a harder game as a veteran player do not use them, if you do the game becomes much easier. Suitable for both beginners and experts I love the graphics, music and the different puzzles that you need to solve in every room. One of my favourites is trapping the demons in the fiery walls before destroying them. This is the standard new match 3 games should be measured by and the right balance to make it appealing to everybody has been achieved. I absolutely cannot wait for Cursed House 3. An amazing buy, do not even bother with the trial, JUST BUY IT NOW.
I was not disappointed with this game as it ticked all the boxes. An interesting paranormal storyline about secret human experiments, is coupled with great graphics/sound in an amazing adventure. There are many original puzzles - and this is the best part - some are more difficult than others which is just how I like them as they make the game much more interesting. Also if you choose the advanced level like I did, items are not highlighted by sparkles and are more difficult to find which also makes you feel good when you find them. Overall a great experience, i will definitely look at the other ones in the series.
