Played half this game in the demo. Thought it would be a creepy quirky game like the Weird Park games, No. It is aimed at kids, I think. What puzzles there are are laughably simple. There is cutesy help from a cat and a dog and a fairy. The baddy isn't scary. And it is repetitive, had to find a scoop net twice, matches twice, hammer twice and hidden objects are bog standard and you revisit them twice too.
Don't waste your money on this game, there far far better ones.
I don't recommend this game.

Beautiful graphics and lovely Christmassy feel. Lots of fun to play for all ages. Some simple stuff but some puzzles are harder. Story is simple but game play is inventive and involving. You really feel part of the story.
Based on the Demo version - I struggled to finish the demo to be honest it was so boring.
The graphics are excellent but that is about it. The music is intrusive and I had to turn it off, only to find there is annoying hooter sound every time you access the inventory. You can't turn this off, why do they do this?
The puzzles are so simple as to be laughable. I solved them in seconds and they are nothing new.
Also the game is devoid of any humour and this makes the whole thing a cheerless and chore like exercise. Like being trapped in a meeting on a Friday afternoon before the holidays. You want it to be over so you can do something fun. I won't bother thanks.
I don't recommend this game.

I have played hundreds of Hidden Object games and this is one of the most detailed, inventive and involving. Good story, good graphics, very very good puzzles. Not to many Ho scenes and these are interactive. And it took ages to play. I am normally done in a few hours even on expert, this took me days and then there was a lengthy bonus chapter. It is also not too easy. You will need hints even with map indicators. I highly recommend this game. More please.
I recommend this game!

Nevertales: The Beauty Within Collector's Edition
You were just about to relax with a good book when a stranger leaves a baby on your doorstep.
This is one of the most detailed games I have played. Not the run of the mill game the layout, it is quite inventive. Lots of puzzles and surprises. Not too easy either which as experienced player I appreciate. Charming story and a lot of extras. There are collectables that you must get to open hidden chapters. Good bonus chapter too. Took me three days to play this on experienced setting, normally HO games take me 4 hours. More like this please.
I recommend this game!

Simplistic in design, game play is really slow and very, very easy. It is very childlike and I assume this is the market it is for. If that's the case it is quite charming. Lots of HOG there is about 10 in the demo alone. Several levels of hardness, nice cut scenes narrated by gingerbread man, itinerary bar locks. There is cup cakes to find in each scene. I wouldn't buy it but if you have little girls then I would recommend.
I don't recommend this game.

I found this game quite involving. The story is good. The backgrounds detailed. There is a good map and experienced player won't need hints. The puzzles aren't much you won't have seen before but they are well done. The bonus game is also very good and quite long. Now the bad, you can't lock off the inventory bar, something I find annoying. And there is no mini game if you get board of HO scenes. Also some of the game play is a bit samey, find the key, find the lever, find the shovel etc etc. You expect that in HO games but this is repeated over and over in this game.
I recommend this game!

I am a seasoned player and I found this game quite detailed and involving. I enjoyed playing it. My only criticism is that the puzzles were not very original and I would like the option of playing a mini game instead of HO scenes.
