I think the devs were listening and went back to the drawing board after the last disastrous Angels's game because they made the levels a little less challenging (maybe even too easy this time) but even better, they added 5 Character Profile Options (for multi-players or simultaneous multi-games, and of course, Emily is one of the profiles) and a Profile Reset option as well. At least this version isn't a one and done game. They still haven't trashed the Mini-Game scenario yet, this one has several no-skills required games that require a simple extra step to complete tasks, otherwise, I may have given it 5-Stars (more like a 4.4 ish because it may be a little too easy) But I love it when a dev sees an issue and tries to solve the issue, based on review feedback, they don't know there's an issue if we don't tell them folks so make sure you write reviews to tell them what you liked and didn't like!
There are 60 Levels available over 6 Chapters beginning with Angela's Fabulous Boutique, Noemie's House of Fashion, Josh's Studio, Emily's Garden, back to Angela's Fabulous Boutique and ending with Fashion Week. There are 24 Challenge Levels, 4 per Level that allows you to complete an optional quest level. Those quests still involve the normal customer scenarios, but you may also have to clear the mouse infestation by clicking on every pop-up mouse (Snuggford's residents sure have vermin issues following them wherever they go!) or serving customer's quickly to earn specified points.
There are 2 Diamond levels per chapter, 17 Achievement Trophies to earn, 18 different Language options and an Angela's Boutique feature where you can dress up your own Model with 114 different outfits and accessories you can purchase with the Diamonds. You can also take a Picture of the model wearing each outfit on the runway with the Camera and save it to your Desktop.
In the first Angela's episode, Sweet Revenge, Angela moved to the Big Apple to begin a career as a fashion designer. In Fashion Fever, Angela had to design the perfect dress to win the chance to take over for a legendary fashion mogul, Truly. In High School Reunion, Angela was organizing her High School reunion when she managed to get thrown in jail! In Fabulous: Angela's Wedding Disaster, Angela was given the perfect opportunity to learn from New York's fashion guru, Sebastian, and now Angela has finally opened up her very own Fabulous Fashion Boutique with a little help from her friends, emotionally and financially.
The object of this Time Management game is to serve customers that come into the boutique as quickly as possible so they remain happy and patient. When customers arrive they will show you which product or dress they desire, you click on the correct item, then click on the correct customer, then click the register to complete the sale. When a customer tries on a dress or shoes, you will need to clean the dressing room and shoe stations as well.
Some items require multiple steps to combine the product in the correct order from left to right, and some products like heels must be restocked frequently. Some tasks require an additional step, dresses need to be sewn by sliding the button to the top, heels with buckles require sliding a button horizontally and vertically and some dresses may require alterations by clicking on buttons 1-3 as they appear. As I stated earlier, I think this is an annoying feature that requires no thought or skill and none of them are fun, so why add them, the original TM games of this genre didn't include them and they were awesome games.
You can earn up to three gold stars, each star earned gives you Coins that can be used in the shop (available after each level) You will earn extra points if you find and click on Carl the Mouse when he pops up, and for multi-tasking or combinations. Most of the levels have an extra quest given at the start that will give you a diamond if you complete the quest. On the level map the stars you earned will appear and there are slots to show if you completed the extra quest as well as a slot that shows you found Carl the Mouse which appears on every level. There are 7 available upgrades, a Sewing Machine that increases the points earned for dresses, a Zebra Chair that speeds up the shoe trying process, Curtains that speed up the dress trying process, Counter Decorations that speeds up the handbag element choosing process, an Air Freshener that keep customers more patient, Fabulous Mannequins that allow you to restock more dresses, and a Flamingo Plant that gives you more cash register points. None of the speed up Angela, give you helpers or automatically clean stations which in my opinion, is what this game needs most of all.

It's been several years since the last Hero of the Kingdom was released and I couldn't wait to play it this morning. I knew within the first few minutes of the demo that this was exactly what I was expecting and I bought it. The graphics are fabulous and I love searching for various supplies and discovering new lands that become available as you progress.
In the last episode, a young boy and his sister were the sole survivors of a devastating earthquake. They have been traveling aimlessly through the woods searching for a new village to live in. A kind and gentle man discovered the orphans and invited them to stay with him in a nearby village. The man has treated them as one of his own, teaching them basic skills necessary to survive, and in this episode, the storyline focuses on the boy and his journey to become a man and productive member of their village society.
You will click on various villagers that have exclamation points above them to receive tasks, completing those tasks will earn you Hero points as well as various food and supplies. A villager may need help finding items such as ingredients, medical supplies, or even lost items. When you have all supplies or ingredients to complete a task, a green checkmark or exclamation point will appear. To find these items you may have to search all available scenes for the necessary items and you may have to Barter with the locals to exchange one item for gold, or gold for an item. There are also hidden crates and barrels that you can click on to receive random supplies.
Just like in reality, you need to sleep and eat, so you can click on the Fire Icon on the bottom Right that takes you to the camp where you can sleep and eat to refresh your Heart score (almost instantly) There is also a Backpack Icon located on the bottom Left that shows your inventory. You can earn 57 different Achievements as well and have the ability to create several different profiles.
The Innkeeper will buy Food items from you anytime, so you will want to hunt often, at first just rabbits but as your archery skills improve, other animals become available (they don't show anything other than arrows) You can sell fish, mushrooms, rabbit and other animal meat, salt, roots, and eggs in exchange for Gold, the items themselves, such as eggs and mushrooms must be found by scavenging to town and forests.
The Inn itself will sell you beer, food, antidotes, swords, shields, magic potions, and healing potions in exchange for gold. These ingredients are necessary to complete other villagers tasks.
The Traveling Merchant will buy furs, animal teeth, antlers, crystals, jewelry, pearls, and golden fish in exchange for gold and he does travel from time to time. Always be on the lookout for various items hidden in caves, in forests etc, magic mushrooms, for example.
Giselle is the best cook in the entire village, she will give you food when you help her find eggs, salt, roots, and mushrooms (the mushrooms you see will tell you if they are edible, poisonous, or magical) eggs are located in birds nests all over the place. She can even teach you how to cook, but of course, you will need to exchange gold to buy skillets and cauldrons.
The Tool Shop will sell you various tools needed to access caves, chop wood etc. You can purchase ropes, hammers, shovels, torches, and axes in exchange for gold.
The Fishing Shop will sell you raw fish bait, fishing flies, fishing rods, fishing hook's and fishing nets in exchange for gold, they will also rent you a boat to be able to access islands which of course has villagers living there as well that may need your help with finding items on the mainland.
The Hunting Camp will sell you meat, furs, bows, arrows, spears, and poison in exchange for gold, or they may agree to help hone your hunting skills in exchange for something of value.
So basically, you will need to strategically figure out what items are required to complete a specific task, who to help first to hone specific skills, decide which villager has the necessary items to buy to complete which tasks, when to hunt, when to sleep and eat, and you have to decide which order to do them in as well. If you don't have food for yourself becaue you have used your money to exchange for the wrong items at the wrong time, you won't be able to earn health hearts that are required to continue. New supplies become available when new areas open up, but not before you clear paths from venomous snakes, rats, bats etc, and those require becoming more skilled at archery and hunting, so you must manage your tasks and supplies wisely.
I love this game, for me, I find it way better than Virtual games where you have to wait in real time or buy your way through it!

Sakir has requested your investigative services once again in the Secret City, a city no other human knows exists. Bolrekin Nibley, the famous Dwarven explorer, has been murdered. His body has been completely petrified leading Sakir to believe that he may have stumbled upon some clues while searching for the lost Merfolk Kingdom that mysteriously vanished over 10 years ago!
Although this game is a rather easy game to play, and the storyline has been done a thousand times before, I did find it to be quite enjoyable. Domini never skimps on quantity, this is another long 7 Chapter game, (and an extremely long CE Bonus Chapter) In my opinion, it's just too long, and it tends to drag on and on with a repetitive scenario of always being just seconds too late to prevent the evil-doer's dastardly deeds, in every single chapter! I'd rather have a 3-4 Chapter game jam-packed with a solid storyline and features rather than a 7 Chapter game stretched out with fillers that do nothing to progress the story, they are just useless tasks that require a lot of back and forthing for no rhyme or reason. For instance, you find a crescent wrench towards the end of the first chapter, use it one time and discard it, only to need the same exact tool a few scenes later, therefore they needed to add another nook & cranny to investigate just to find the tool you should have hung onto in the first place. This tool discarding scenario occurred several times in every single scene of every chapter! Why can't we just keep standard tools in our purse or backpack? I would suspect that a real detective would carry some standard tools of the trade, at least a lockpick!
I really didn't like the new "Collectibles Tab" located on the right side of the screen. What was wrong with the 3 small icons on the inventory bar that twinkled when a particular collectible or morph was available in the current scene? If you didn't like the heads-up twinkling you could disable them and they'd be barely noticeable. Now you have to pull out the big and bulky side tab if you want to see if any of the icons are twinkling to alert you of their presence, I just think it takes away from the beauty of the scenery and is way less convenient. I'd rather see Domini adjust their over-the-top neon color palette and the lengthy chapters than do away with the collectibles circles on the inventory bar!
The Hidden Object Scenes are rather scarce in this Puzzle-Heavy HOPA game, but some of them were very creative. I'm not usually a fan of Keywords in Sentence finds and unfortunately, there are a lot of them used to progress the story's origins. One of my favorite Hidden Object Scenes was the second or third one offered in the first chapter and I wish they had used that type more often of finding a particular group of symbols on 2 pages full of symbols. I also really enjoyed the one in the second chapter where you place swatches correctly onto several different pictures. In the third chapter, there is a very creative Riddle Description HOS where you are tasked with finding the animal that matches the riddle clue. The Riddles themselves were really good, but I thought the animals themselves were creatively blended into the scenery. Towards the end of the game, there is a "spot the difference" HOP where you have to find 12 differences between the original and its mirror image, that was pretty fun as well. There is an alternate Match 3 Game available if you're not a fan of HO's. I've always wondered why they don't offer Hidden Object alternates instead of playing a Mini-Game if they offer a Match 3 game instead of HO's?
The Mini-Games are available in an Easy or Hard Difficulty Mode, and in the Custom Mode setting, you can choose to have each mini-game start out in either difficulty, but you can always opt for the opposite each time you play one. I've always wished there were small, step-by-step videos of the mini-games on the Strategy Guide where you could press on a play button to see a visual of how to solve the game, especially on some of the more complicated games, or games that have confusing written instructions. (tell me that's not an excellent idea!) Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter throughout the game:
1-Connect dots with the specified number of connections. 2-Drag the feet to navigate the maze, collecting items to trade with the skeletons to overcome obstacles. 3-Swap and rotate tokens to restore the image. 4-Move hinged fragments into the highlighted slots to restore the image. 5-Position switches and select directional arrows to move coins into their matching slots at the bottom. 6-Use a magnifying glass to search for symbols in the order shown. 7-Move the arrow to each lock using rotation and arrow buttons. 8-Rotate 3 circles to place colored beads correctly on each circle. 9-Rotate stones so they are facing the right direction as shown on the clue. 10-Click on shields with matching identical symbols. 11-Navigate a train by selecting moves without landing on a hole. 12-Chose colors that won't allow 2 identical colors to touch each other. 13-Swap metal strips with gems so that when overlapped, all holes are filled with gems.
The Collector's Edition Bonus Chapter takes place shortly after the detective finishes up the case. The Merfolk Supreme Judge, Cassiopeia, invites you to join her during their new Election process which infuriates Hakkar who feels he is the rightful heir to the throne, and of course, chaos ensues. There are 8 Mini-Games and 5 Hidden Object Scenes within the Bonus Chapter and you will complete the collections with the Final Morphing Statuette, 2 final Missing Journal Page Entries, and the last 10 Hidden Starfish which allows you to complete your Aquarium Fish collection.
The Collector's Edition version has 11 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 21 Movie Video Cutscenes, 18 Achievements to earn, 18 re-playable Hidden Object Scenes, 19 re-playable Mini-Games, 13 Morphing Statues, 36 Collectible Starfish that allow you to buy 15 Aquarium Fish, 15 Journal Page Entries, 7 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a built-in Strategy Guide Walkthrough, enjoy :)

I spent hours playing Road Trip USA and enjoyed every minute so I knew there was no need to try the demo first on this edition, so I went straight for the "buy now" button with no regrets! I must admit, my favorite features are the Hidden Items, Coins and above all, finding Max, Ninja, and Bear the cats, which btw, Max is the company Chaircat, so he's kind of a big deal, lol.
You can choose from several difficulty mode options, Easy Mode, which is a Relaxed time mode where the clock counts up not down, with unlimited hints, and no misclick penalties. Relaxed Mode is a timed mode with unlimited hints but there are misclick penalties. Timed Mode gives you slightly less level times as the relaxed mode, with unlimited hints (using hints in this mode won't allow you to earn speed bonus points) and there are misclick penalties. Hard Mode is a timed mode with no available hints and there are misclick penalties as well.
There are 20 City Locations in Europe and each time you replay the same city, it will have a different type of Hidden Object search modes or mini-games available, and the map marker for that city has a yellow ring that progresses to show how close you are to completing the city level. There are Hidden Object Word Finds, Riddle Finds (only a brief description is given for each object) Silhouetted Shape Finds, Scramble Finds (the object names are jumbled on the list) Missing Vowel Finds (only consonants are given, vowels are replaced with _) and some of the HO scenes are in Night Mode (in the dark using a flashlight) There are also Mini-Games and Puzzles offered after a few HO scenes to break up the monotony, such as Tile Swap puzzles, Spot the Differences, Match 3 games, Mahjong games, and Blockslide puzzles where you slide blocks horizontally or vertically to allow the Key Block to slide into the Lock slot on the right side of the grid.
Every City has 5 Special Item Coins (not listed) but varies in design each time. The Coins (only 1 per scene) are only available in the Hidden Object Word type modes, and it will alert you before starting the level if they are available or not available in that particular scene. There are a total of 100 Special Item Coins total and you must find them to unlock the Bonus Mini-Game section, but you can replay the same city to go back and search for coins you missed.
Every City has 2 Bonus Items to find (not listed) a Car Battery and a Spark Plug. There are 40 Bonus Items total and they are only located within the Hidden Object Word finds as well. The HO scenes may contain just the Car Battery, just the Spark plug, or the scene may include both, and the level map markers indicate whether or not you have found the Bonus Items (as well as special coin items) You must locate all Bonus Items to unlock the Unlimited Hidden Object Mode, and once again, you can replay the cities until you find all of the bonus items.
My favorite feature is finding the 3 Hidden Items within each city, adorable cats named Bear, Ninja and Chief Chaircat Max! You will earn a crazy amount of points for finding one of the cats, I believe 250k. You will earn points for each object you find, and unless you are playing in Easy Mode, points are also deducted when you click the wrong object. I don't think there is Shop to purchase bonuses (I didn't think to look) but the score tally does keep track of best score, best time and accuracy.
The scenes are crystal clear and the items are easily recognizable, and not too small for those who have issues seeing tiny objects, making this a perfect old-fashioned HOG for just about any age. The scenes are interesting with lots of variations including favorite puzzles and mini-games. If you played the first Road Trip, I'm sure you won't be disappointed in Road Trip Europe!

The Abomination is an evil force threatening the very existence of the 4 Realms artistically created by the famous author, Michael Ballard. Each of the four realms represents the Arthurs successful novels, every detail, every aspect he envisioned, gave birth to and created these fantasy-worlds and its people page by page. When Michael Ballard's personal life begins to crumble, evil begins to take root within the realms as well. There's still hope for Michael, there's still hope that lies within a simple mage-in-training who must now embark on a journey to save 4 imaginary realms whose fate can be determined by a simple stroke of the Creator's pen!
Yes, there is a gimmicky Gadget of Spell-Casting, however, it does NOT involve following recipes (other than finding specific ingredients for each spell the first time only to "learn" the spell) and it does NOT involve any repetitive Mini-Game prior to using a spell, so I'm totally okay with this scenario! During the Main Game (it isn't used during the BC) you will use the Portal Spell 6 times, the Object Levitation Spell 8 times, the Talk to Animals Spell 4 times, the Fire Resistant Spell 3 times, the Antidote Spell 3 times, the Open Door Spell 3 times, the Mermaid Shape-shifting Spell 1 time, and the Muse Shard Spell 1 time as well. Once you acquire the spell-book page and the 3-4 ingredients associated with each spell, that spell becomes available w/o any having to complete a step-by-step recipe game or a mini-game to activate, you simply choose the spell you want to use. I'm being specific with feature details on my review to help counteract other discrepancies.
Most of the 18 main Hidden Object Scenes are simple Listed Item Finds but the smaller Zoom Zone HOP's available vary with Silhouetted Shape Finds, Finding & Replacing Items, Keywords in Sentence Finds, Sketched Picture Finds and Swatch Picture Finds (items that match fabric samples) I actually prefer a no-frills, old-school Listed Item HOP so I was perfectly happy with these HOP's. The scenes are colorful and the graphics are crystal clear, even the objects themselves are recognizable and some items were well blended and not easily spotted. Some of the scene locations were excellent, such as finding items sketched into a grey-bricked wall, finding intricate shapes sketched on 3 different pieces of paper or items stuffed between branches in a beaver dam. Each of the 18 main HOP's has a Morphing Object to find and they are quite challenging to spot because they blend well and morph slowly.
The Mini-Games are fairly decent and vary in difficulty. There are 22 mini-games within the Main Game and I'm a little disappointed that none are offered for re-play within the CE Extra's menu because I really liked some of the more difficult ones. Below are brief descriptions of some of my favorite puzzles throughout the entire game:
1-Select elephant tusks to match the lengths shown on the clue. 2-Remove tiles between identical tiles that shift positions when a tile is removed. 3-Rotate and swap triangles so they share corners w/identical numbers of dots. 4-Jump gold balls until only one ball remains. 5-Use directional arrows to navigate in the dark. 6-Overlay segments strips so that every hole is filled with a gem. 7-Turn wheels and adjust arm segments to grab all circular knobs. LOVED IT! 8-Move tiles to adjacent empty slots until all gear tiles connect.
In the Collector's Edition Bonus Chapter, you play as Jason Ballard, son of the Author Michael Ballard, who gets swept away to Tale World to fight an evil witch. Because you aren't playing as an Adept, you won't use any Spells within the BC. There are 10 Mini-Games and 4 Hidden Object Scenes within the BC and you will pick up the remaining 7 Mage Citadels, 7 Scene Morphing Objects and 4 Hidden Object Morphs.
This Collector's Edition version has 12 Wallpapers, 9 Concept Art Pictures (w/before-after slider bars) 10 Music Soundtracks, 0 replayable Movie Video Cutscenes, 18 replayable Hidden Object Scenes (you can pick up missing HOP Morphs, improve accuracy and earn 3 stars as well as pick up missing HOP achievements) 29 Hidden Mage Citadel's (one per scene) 29 Morphing Objects (one per scene) 18 Hidden Object Scene Morphs, Character Bios (after completing the BC) Jigsaw Puzzle to assemble (after completing the BC) Pigeon Puzzle (after completing the BC) Ultimate HO (after completing Collectible Hunt) 11 Achievements to earn (6 of which are available in 3 parts) 5 Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a Built-in Strategy Guide. It never ceases to amaze me of the vast amount of cookie cutter games this dev spews out, yet they never bother to change or even tweak any feature! It's the same exact format, the same exact card layouts, the same exact repetitive music, the same exact mechanics and features. The only thing they have to do is change the background images (and sometimes they don't even change that!) change the title (which usually only involves adding the number 2 or 3 after the title) and bam, it's ready to mass produce to unsuspecting gamers.
Once again, this is a Solitaire version where the game ends once all of the Gold Cards have been removed, even if a hundred regular cards remain. I want to be able to remove ALL of the cards on the board to receive a perfect score, not just some of them! I will play a level over and over until I achieve my goal of what I consider to be a perfect score, removing every single card. For the life of me, I can't understand why they can't make an adjustment to allow the option of continuing to play for points once all of the gold cards have been removed, how difficult can that be?
There are 20 Different Locations or Packs and each location has 10 Levels, scoring is similar to Bowling scores, in the event of a perfect score, the points from that level are added to the next and so forth. You can choose from 9 Wintery themed card backs and 3 different face card fonts. You are always forced to begin the game in Newbie mode, which allows you to replay any hand, then, if you prefer, you can switch to the Professional mode which only allows you to replay the entire pack of 10 levels.
Another feature I don't like in all solitaire games by this developer is that the tutorial makes you click another card off of the deck even though there are several more cards available on the board. (but then again, you don't really need a tutorial if you have played any other solitaire game by this dev) I'm reluctant to skip the tutorial just in case they have added or changed a new feature, which never happens, but one never knows, and I remain hopeful. I also hate that when you remove a Bonus card with a Snowflake it takes forever to explain what the card gives you, as it freezes continued gameplay to tell you what you won. Most of the time it gives you +499 extra points, but occasionally, a Joker, Mulligan or a Shuffle, because this bonus feature takes so long, removing two of these cards back to back is super agonizing and I'm tempted to not click on them if they aren't blocking a gold card!
If you own Solitaire Jack Frost Winter Adventures 1 or 2 or have played any other solitaire games by this dev, you've more than likely already played this one because they are all identical, all exactly the same, you just can't tell the difference between them!

This is another Limited Moves Match 3 game that can be played in a Challenging Mode (limited moves) or Relaxed Mode with an infinite number of moves. I found the mechanics to be slow to respond and clunky, it just doesn't flow as seamlessly as it should, and the grids themselves are too basic and present no real challenge to seasoned Match 3 players. The tiles themselves are large and uninteresting such as sponges, construction hardhats, watering cans, and a red tile that I still have no idea what it's supposed to be?
In true Shaman Games fashion, the storyline has a steampunk vibe and an interesting plot. You have just been awarded a mansion and a robot butler, and the mansion is in dire need of an overhaul. The plot takes some unexpected turns of events when you discover things aren't as rosy as you thought. You will upgrade the mansion with the Stars you earn playing the Match 3 games, 1 star for each level and each upgrade or task usually requires a two-part or 2-3 stars to complete the task.
You can choose from 3 different bonuses at the start of each level and large matches will earn Power-ups on the board in the form of bombs of various strengths and coverages. When you detonate the bombs, it fills the Rainbow Meter, once filled you receive a Rainbow Ball on the board (with each refill) and the ball will remove all tiles of whichever tile it is swapped with.
After completing the level goals of removing a specified number of specified tiles, making matches on tiles covered in leaves, removing the wooden crates or hidden items within etc. you have to wait for what seems to be an eternity while the computer finishes playing out your remaining Moves and detonating bombs they created.
I loved the storyline and the plot twists, I enjoyed upgrading and cleaning the mansion, I didn't even mind the robot butler, but the Match 3 game just wasn't all that thrilling for me personally.

Arrr, mates, I'm not normally a fan of Match 3 games that are only available in a Limited Moves Mode, but this one is pretty fun! I also really liked that you are given the choice to continue playing after completing the level goals if you have any Moves remaining. You can opt to keep playing until your moves are depleted, or you can continue on to the next level, a feature I don't think I've seen implemented in a Match 3 game before. I have noticed that just because you have met the goal requirements, it doesn't necessarily mean that you have earned all 3 available Skulls, so you may have to continue playing if you want to earn all 3.
This is a Swap Type, Limited Moves Match 3 game with specific goals for each level, such as making a specified number of specified tiles, making matches on all gold tiles, opening Treasure Chests, shooing away pesky Seagulls who steal your Doubloons or chasing away mischevious Monkeys who will nail down tiles when you aren't looking! There are also various obstacles of rope-bound tiles, wooden crates and various bad-guy obstacles like Jolly Roger Skull & Bones that multiply with every match made.
The Skulls & Doubloons you earn are used to upgrade the Schooner (11 Schooner upgrades), as well as purchase and use Bonuses (9 Bonuses available) The upgrades are percentage based upgrades, and the Bonuses are used during the Match 3 games at your discretion, such as a Hammer or Bombs. You can choose 4 Bonuses at the start of the level, however, you have to pay for the use of the Bonuses with the doubloons you earn.
Large Matches will earn tile specific bonuses on the board such as Directional column or row busters, Bombs etc. but unlike a lot of recent M3 games, the bonuses aren't as obtained and there aren't a hundred of them on the board which practically plays the game for you. Graphium Studio has really impressed me with this game, besides, who doesn't love a chance to talk like a pirate, arrr!?!

Those crazy penguins sure know how to have a good time, even when they are alone and lost in the woods. Harry has just discovered an Inventor's Workshop in the middle of nowhere, but he's also discovered a few new surprises, Fantasy Mosaic surprise features! Open the doors of the interactive House, relax and join Harry on his latest quest solving puzzles and Griddlers, Fantasy Mosaic style!
The colors are even more vibrant than before, and as always, the finished pictures you create are always recognizable and always labeled. The grids are always easy on the eyes, and above all, they are always solvable using Logic, unlike so many other Guesser Griddlers.
You can choose from 5 different tile sets, ranging in color vibrancy and styles. Locked Colors can be disabled in the Settings menu, otherwise, some of the colors are locked and unavailable until you uncover color specific keys that are hidden beneath some of the filled-in cells The Eye feature allows you to hide the grid to get a look at the puzzle without all the grid lines, and there is a reset icon that allows restarting the level easier.
You can play in a Casual mode which crosses off the tiles one by one, or Advanced mode which only crosses off tiles when the entire row or column has been filled in. You can earn a Gold trophy if you make no mistakes, a Silver trophy if you make one mistake and a Bronze trophy if you make two mistakes. You will also earn up to three gold Stars if you don't use any hints, one star is deducted each time you use a hint. Therefore, it is possible to make a mistake or two but still earn 3 stars as long as you don't use any available hints.
Mosaic Griddlers may seem overwhelmingly complicated at first glance if you've never played a game from this genre, but please don't let these games intimidate you because they are really fun puzzles to solve. After a few levels, you'll get the hang of it and wonder why you waited so long to try one! (I would suggest starting with an earlier version (#16 offers 6 colors and is a great place to start) There are groups of numbers located on each column and row of the grid, each group of numbers must be separated by at least one blank or crossed-off cell. Sometimes it's easier to cross-off cells that can't possibly contain a filled-in cell, to reduce the number of cells and narrow the playing field down a bit.
Some of the cells contain bonuses such as extra hints, extra mistakes allowed or an extra pickax which allows you to choose which cell you want a hint on, and some cells contain keys to unlock colors (unless you disable this feature in settings) There is a Sun icon as well that when fully charged, will give you a mega-hint, filling in or crossing off a 3x3 area of your choice.

Kingdom Chronicles 2 is such an amazing Time Management game that I will be judging future Time Management games on how well they stack up against this one! It is a very challenging game that requires a lot of strategies to win gold on the levels so it's not for the faint of heart. I consider myself to be an experienced TM player, and I have had to replay most of the levels several times to earn a perfect score, and not just the higher levels, almost from the get-go! There have been several levels that I thought were nearly impossible to get 3 stars on, some of which I replayed 10-15 times in a row, tweaking my task queues each time until I finally did it. It may seem ridiculously hard at times, but when you finally do complete a difficult level and earn all 3 stars or gold, you feel a great sense of accomplishment, more so than most other TM games.
I do highly recommend the Collector's Edition version over this Standard Edition version because this is definitely the kind of game that a Strategy Guide is beneficial, perhaps a necessity! You also get 34 Achievement Trophies (you may as well get a pat on the back for all your hard work) and Bonus Levels. If you're a TM fan, this is a must-have game! Here's a recap of my review from the CE version:
Day-o, day-o Daylight come and me wan' go home. Sorry, I have been singing this song ever since I started playing this game and had to Lift six foot, seven foot, eight-foot bunch of bananas, so I may as well share the earworm! Kingdom Chronicles has some of the most amazing graphics, the tasks are unconventional, the 3D Characters are unique, the storyline is one you actually want to read about and most of all, it's super fun to play!
This isn't an easy-breezy Time Management game, I sailed through the first 6-7 levels only to hit a roadblock and realize that if I wanted to earn all 3 Stars, I was going to have to apply some hardcore strategies. The CE built-in Strategy Guide has been my saving grace and I don't think I could have beaten some of the levels without it! Before the start of each level, they give you level strategy Tips that are really helpful so don't ignore them, they work!
Although there are the normal tasks of collecting resources, clearing paths, and repairing or upgrading lumbermills, farms, workers huts etc. there are also resources that aren't along the beaten path, and some unusual features as well. I loved talking with the Elder who would reveal a new building that wasn't there before! There are switches to activate to unavailable sections (loved the stone gate and the effects) You will trade resources with local merchants, build town halls and collect gold from residents, and receive bonuses such as the Helping Hand (extra worker) and a Speed bonus to speed up workers.
It may have taken this developer several years to come out with a sequel, but trust me, this game is well worth the wait!
