I was really hoping to like this game after reading all the great reviews, but alas I was greatly disappointed! It is like you are watching a adventure cartoon rather than playing a game. And it was not challenging at all! I am so tired of all the gadgets that are being integrated into the games lately! But, to those who like it good for you! Not my cup of tea.;)
I don't recommend this game.

I have really grown tired of all the cookie cutter games! No challenge and the annoying pop ups! Too many games from Epix! Same old same old. The games from 2012 are much better than the games coming out today! I have not purchased a CE or game in along time unless it is an older game with a challenge. This is nothing like the once great MCF games of the past!
I don't recommend this game.

I am giving this 5 stars, because not only did I enjoy playing it, but to bring up the rating. It deserves more than two stars! This game does come with a challenge and it is different than most games on BF, but that is what makes it fun to play! I enjoyed venturing around the mansion to look for gems and items you will need to proceed in the game. There are HOP's and puzzles you put together. You can skip the puzzles and combating the ghosts before you enter each room. It will add to your game time, but it does not matter, because you can still finish the game. Using hints will add to your game time too. I am not much on how long it takes me to play a game. If you want to play something different and with a challenge then this game is for you!
I recommend this game!

I am disappointed in this game. I was hoping to like it, because I like the first two "Tales of Terror". This game is nothing like the first two. It is very mechanical in the since of gadgets, mechanical dragonflies, mechanical shark, mechanical and mechanical eyeballs. It was like I was playing a Puppet Show game. It is not much of a ghost haunting if you ask me, because you are annoyed by gadgets and not haunted by ghost. Putting together inventory items together within your inventory overload. I do not care for the feature and they go way overboard in this game. Where is the adventure in the games of today??? Go to a few rooms or scenes, accomplish the tasks, go to a few more rooms or scenes accomplish the tasks and etc.....boring and takes away from the challenge of having to use your memory. Gone are the days of using a diary, I guess??? I felt like I was playing an IPXX game again!!! Oh, how I miss the challenge in playing a game. They simplify the games too much for the past 4 years now! I was hoping they would get better at making the games more challenging again, but I guess not.
I don't recommend this game.

I do not think this game is as bad as the reviews are stating. Is it challenging? Yes, but that is what made it fun for me. You can always play relax mode, but I prefer the timed mode, because it does make it more of a challenge. There are stars you can click on to add to the time left. I found the story line very interesting, because I am from the area and have read up on Bonnie and Clyde, so I already knew a lot about them. I enjoyed playing this game!
I recommend this game!

I only played the demo, because I did not want to make the same mistake as I did purchasing the Keys to Ravenhearst before trying the demo. The ambiance with the creepy music like the original Ravenhearst is not present and the challenge is non-existent compared to the previous Ravenhearst. I do not like how the games coming out lately are where you only search a few areas and complete the tasks and then to the next few areas and so on and so on....It is so boring and takes away the challenge and the adventure part of game play. Alas, another disappointment.
I don't recommend this game.

I went ahead and bought this game on sale and I am glad I did! It would not even be worth a free game coupon! It is a very short game, the challenge was poor and you go around only a few (very few) places. It becomes very repetitive and boring! I thought we would be going to the actual HOUSE, but you do not until you get to the bonus game! I love the first Haunted Legends: Queen of Spades, but this is just plain awful. What has happened to you ERS? I love the older games you made, but the newer ones are not challenging and boring!
I don't recommend this game.

This game kind of reminds me of The Emptiness. It is different and original and best of all challenging! It even has a little creep factor to it with eerie music while you are playing. You really have to look for objects in different rooms and sometimes they are hard to spot! I have played all three of Campfire Legends and this is the best one!
I recommend this game!

I played the full game including the Bonus. It was just not as eerie and challenging as the other Ravenhearst games. I appreciate Epix trying, but I think there will not be a good Mystery Case Files game until Big Fish Studio does them again. It is not a bad game, but I just could not really get into it as much as I did the other Ravenhearst games. Maybe I am being too critical, because I am a huge fan of the Ravenhearst series!
I recommend this game!
