I have played this game 4 times now and it reminds me of the good old days where games came out that you had to think and not have everything handed to you. It has a variety of puzzles, some are easy and some use logic. I love logical puzzles. You have to really skim around the room very carefully to make sure you did not miss anything. Make sure you check your diary occasionally for help in some of the puzzles. There are HOS, but not too many. I always enjoy playing this game!!
I recommend this game!

Rite of Passage: Hide and Seek Collector's Edition
Twenty years ago, the children of Greystone were taken by a mysterious fog - only you escaped. It’s time to find out why...
I did not dislike the game, but I did not love it either. Not as challenging as the first one and I do not understand why you have to have a pet. It did not go with the story or feel of the game. It is one thing to rescue a pet and then move on, but when you are naming the pet, it just seems bit childish to me. I agree with another reviewer who stated for the developers to make up their minds. Is it suppose to be a eerie like game for adults or a game for kids? Pick one or the other and please do not combine them.
I recommend buying the S.E., because I did not care for the bonus game play and you really do not need it unless you want to see where you missed finding a hand print.
I recommend this game!

This is on of my all time favorite games to play!!
I just got threw playing this game for the 5th time. It is the type of game I love! Challenging, really has a eerie feel to it, not a lot of bling and no pets!! The music goes well with the feel of the game. It does not have a lot of HOS and has a variety of puzzles including riddles. You can play on easy mode, but I play on the hard mode. You do have to move around a lot without a transporting map, which does not bother me, because I like to use my memory of where to go. If you like a good story and a challenge you will love this game!
I recommend this game!

Whispered Legends: Tales of Middleport
Uncover the true cause of the disturbances and track down the disappeared townspeople before darkness falls on Middleport forever!
I enjoyed playing this SE. It kept me busy and I had to think at times, which I like. I do not care for a lot of hand holding while I play a game. No pets, not a lot of bling and has an adult theme, which what I prefer in a game. I wish somebody would make a great updated Agatha Christie HOPA!!!
Cartoony graphics, added a shop to decorate your room and they got totally away from the creep factor of this series!!! I am so disappointed!! Another great series ruined.
I enjoyed playing the previous games of this series and there was not a cutesy giggling angel. Why developers did you add one??? It takes away from the ambiance of the game, which is suppose to be more creepy than cutesy! I am very disappointed, because I was excited to see another Haunted Manor come out today. But only to be disappointed. If you would not have added the giggling angel I would have been more likely to have purchased this game.
I don't recommend this game.

Hope Lake
Visit a boarding school abandoned after a terrible accident. Unravel the mystery of the loss of its former students.
A basic S.E. which I have come to enjoy better than some of the other games coming out lately. No bling, no pets, some puzzles and a little too many HOS for my taste, but they are not every time you turn around. A lot of places and rooms to explore. You have a map which tells you where something can be done and it will teleport you to that location. I did not find myself getting bored. Enough of a challenge where I felt I could exercise my brain cells, but not the hardest game I have ever played.
I recommend this game!

Tales of Terror: House on the Hill Collector's Edition
Find your sister and escape from a terrifying haunted house!
Not the best of graphics, no academy award winners here for their acting, not a bunch of bling (which I do not care for), not too many HOS and a few puzzles. I enjoyed playing this game! I like to play a game where there is not too much hand holding and you actually have to think or remember where to go to use a item. You have 46 hearts you can find during game play and continues in bonus game. I of course I only found 45. Only one short! How frustrating!:) No need though, since you do not do anything with them. A fun game to play to me!:)
I recommend this game!

Grim Tales: The Vengeance Collector's Edition
When his sister is murdered, you must prove your nephew’s innocence!
I liked this game. It was different and kept me busy. Did not find myself getting board during game play. Some of the puzzles were unique and used logic rather than just putting something together. They did not add a pet and there was not too much hand holding. Kudos to Elephant! Thank you for a game that had some challenge and no pets!! Not the hardest game to play, but still a better challenge then some of the games coming out recently.
I recommend this game!

Lost Souls: Timeless Fables Collector's Edition
Set out with Bella in search of her brother through the pages of well-known novels and true stories.
I purchased this game this weekend with the discount. I was hoping to like it and that it would get better after the first story, unfortunately it just gets worse. The music, which you can turn off, was so repetitious. This is like a very old school game where you jump from one location to another and not like the adventure games today. No challenge, but I guess it could be a okay game on a rainy day and if there is nothing else to do with your spare time.
