I might have given this game 5 stars, but once again developers are adding pets to series that did not have them in their previous games! Why??? I am not a kid! Otherwise I enjoyed the game. I enjoyed the puzzles. You had to use a lot of logical thinking, which I enjoy. I do enjoy the Ravenhurst games more than this one. But still a good game. A lot more challenging than the ones that have been coming out lately.
This was supposed to be the happiest day of your life. But instead of walking down the aisle, you're in another dimension, battling a mad inventor to save your family!
I played the first game of this series before I played this one, since I had not played it in awhile. The first one is sooo much better! Much more of a challenge! You actually had to use your brain! It does not put the code on the safe or etc... You need to concentrate on where objects are and remember where to use them. I played this game on hard mode and still found it too easy. I just do not understand why oh why are the games coming out lately too easy and or too cutesy???? I miss being challenged! I could not even finish this game, because I found myself bored. I am glad I purchased this game on a discounted rate, but really I wish I had not purchased it at all! Yet another waste of what could have been a great series!
You thought this would be just like any other investigation. But now you find yourself lost in a mysterious mansion brimming with strange creatures, comatose colleagues, and mysterious tentacles around every corner…
Another great series ruined by ERS! Why are you doing this ERS???? I was so excited to see a new Haunted Halls game and than the disappointment set in while playing the demo. Too geared towards kids! A pet store really? How old are the developers who are ruining the once great series for example Redemption Cemetery! Please give us a reason ERS! Do you not listen to us or read the reviews! I am banning ERS, until they stop coming out with horrible games that once was a joy to play!
I am getting very disappointed with the games coming out from Big Fish lately. They are sooo geared toward kids! I end up playing a lot of the older games I have purchased. They are more challenging and just more enjoyable to play. I would definitely recommend trying the demo first before purchasing!
I loved the first one! Played it again about 4 months ago. Even on hardcore mode this game was too easy. You get a few items in your inventory and than you use them. I like the challenge of having items for awhile and remembering where to utilize them. The only thing better about this one vs. the second is the graphics. Not a bad game I just prefer a challenge when playing adventure games. It seems as though many of the games coming out recently are geared more for beginners.
The best thing about this game was the graphics. No challenge to the game even on advance mode. Too many HOS for my taste. I found myself getting bored during game play. Did not even bother with the bonus game. I am glad I paid half price for this game. I would recommend this game for beginners.
Not too many hidden object games, which I like. They added a furry friend which I do not like. It makes it too much of a kids game. As you wish to me is the best of the series. I was slightly disappointed in this game, because I expected it to be better.
If you are like me and have been waiting for a great game to play for a least a year it seems like, than you will love this game. I was waiting to get disappointed again, because of some of the other great series (for example Redemption Cemetery and Fear for sale) adding furry creatures or too much hand holding and getting away from what made the series great in the first place and not raising the bar. With this series they did raise the bar!!! Less HOS than the first of the two series, which I prefer. No hand holding, but I did play on expert mode. Superb graphics and voice overs. So far this has got to be the game of 2013 in my opinion.
I am tired of the games that have come out lately with furry animals or creatures to help you or too fantasy like. ERS has ruined the Redemption Cemetery and the Fear for Sale series. They strayed away from good creepiness and good story line to kid like games. Are you hiring teenagers straight out of high school to develop these games??? If you like fantasy and feel the need to be a young teenage girl than this game is for you.
