I didn't dislike this game, I just felt that compared to the somewhat newer or exclusive games I've played this was pretty much elementary. Perhaps I've been spoiled by the better games. Though a lot of thought and artwork went into this production, I think this genre was more befitting for the late 1990's or early 2000's. The HOS were similar to the games of yore, lots of junk piles. Not to say that Mystery Tales: The Lost Hope wasn't fun to play because you had a few options to choose a jigsaw puzzle or match 3 game rather than continue on with HOS, which I found boring after a while (sorry). You had a great jump-map and hint button if you needed it. The voiceovers/acting I thought were very, very good, especially the children's voices which impressed me--I especially loved the British accent. The music was good. Lots of objects to find but many of them will remain in the inventory for a long time. I played the SE version so the ending seemed incomplete to me, which is pretty much the norm for some SE's. Good vs. evil once again, but I suspect there may be a sequel. Puzzles were great and some very challenging, too. Though the gameplay was somewhat flowing, I was becoming bored. Oh, well, to each his/her own. I still recommend it. You may very well like it and that would be cool!
I recommend this game!

Quite a wide variety of things to do in this fabulous game--fairytale indeed, but excellent graphics and special effects. You will be completing many, many tasks and tasks within a task; and thanks to the jump map you won't go crazy wondering where to go next, although the game I played previously had no transporter map and it was extremely challenging to get around. But even with the jump map, this game is very challenging. For achievements you will need to collect 114 shards and I got so engrossed in the game that I forgot about searching for these. This far I've only found 40. I'm sure there will be more in the Bonus Chapter. You'll have numerous objects to locate and you won't find them right away either. Once again the storyline is about good vs. evil but it's a good one that you'll enjoy. The cut scenes are good and the acting is great. I'm in the Bonus Chapter now and there is a new problem which is not surprising, but it should be lots of fun to play. I have to applaud the developers on this one because of the variety of clever puzzles and innovative HOS and the graphics, and music. Reflections of Life: Equilibrium is definitely a two-thumbs game! I highly recommend it!

The artwork is a definite 5-star but the gameplay for some reason was rather choppy to me. Every time you complete a task if you click on the same scene again it will inform you of what you accomplished; but there were some completed scenes that I clicked on and it appeared I had yet another task to do when in fact I didn't. Nonetheless, the storyline was great and fairytale like, obviously. The one thing that turned me off was that I couldn't zoom the game to fit my entire screen, and the HOS and other objects were very tiny and difficult to find. But I stuck with it w/o using the hint button and did fine. My eyesight is not that bad but had the scenes been full-screen I'd rate this game 4-1/2 stars. I don't think it warrants a 5-star regardless of the small screen. You were pretty much stuck on a page-by-page journal. When you tackled a task you couldn't move forward on the page until you completed a key task. Lots of portals and objects to find and very clever puzzles--some challenging and some not. There were quite a few fun things to do. There were a few Mahjong games to play. There was no jump map but that's part of the challenge. Hint button had it's purpose and often times no purpose at all. The music was lovely but repetitious--after a while it became annoying and then I'd turn the volume down or mute it. I did like the sound effects though. The developers put a lot of thought into this game. Yes, I would recommend this game.

It's not that this game is too easy, it's pretty challenging and loads of fun; but more importantly, if flows like a charm. That's what I look for in a game. It's highly organized. The developers did good on this one! The HOS are very clever and rather different; the graphics are cool and crisp; the voiceovers, though not excellent, are still pretty good. Special effects are really neat! Great storyline, too. If you want to know more about that then read the description or check out other reviewers' comments who are good at that. That's usually not my bag! Anyway, I love when everything falls into place and Living Legends:Wrath of the Beast does just that! No glitches in the game, great jump-map, hint button is there if you need it. No morphing objects to find; no collectibles to find, which are fun, mind you, but distracting after a while. But you usually find those in CE's anyway. Not a difficult game at all but again, lots of fun things to do. I love this game and highly recommend it. Great job developers!

Before I choose to buy a game I always check the reviews starting with the lowest rating to the highest. It pretty much gives me an idea of the game pattern, graphics, puzzles, storyline, etc. And though this was a short game, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I respect all the reviewers comments because each person is different and has expectations of any given game that will suit them. I felt this game was challenging enough, lots of fun, beautiful scenes, great music, and great game plan. Kudos to the developers. I felt it had the flow that I look for in the games. I'm giving it a 4-star rating because it wasn't long enough for me but I highly recommend it. Not sure if this has a CE version but the SE was pretty good.
I recommend this game!

I'm halfway through this CE game created by Blam, and like loads of other games, the storyline deals with the occult, yet again. I think most of the developers are pretty much running out of ideas. They should come up with a game entitled, Godzilla Saves the World--with sound effects that will knock you off your seat! Previous to The Keepers, I played a 5-star game, which blew me away--high-end graphics, great music, had it all; so comparing The Keepers: Lost Progeny to a high-end game is like comparing apples to oranges. I often check the credits to find the year the game was made. I couldn't find one for this game--could be five years old, could be new; but it stands to reason the newer the game, the better the quality. This game had a minor glitch in it as well but I worked around it. The Keepers, thus far, doesn't have that WOW factor. What it does have is some very neat, very clever puzzles that I enjoy more than searching for your basic HOS. The artwork is good for such a dismal story and atmosphere, plus I can't get full-screen on my laptop. And I won't compromise my computer to get a better resolution or screen-size for any game. And though the full-screen is checked in the options, no dice on mine. The items are small but you can find them; there is no map to speak of, you have a strategy guide if you need it and a hint button that serves two purposes--shows you where to go next, which doesn't unload when doing so. And then of course it's there if you get stuck. I haven't used it for that yet. While you're in the HOS if you click too often you will have a 'mouse' delay, which is annoying. I certainly wouldn't discredit the developers on their creation because a lot of thought and work went into it.
I recommend this game!

I bought the CE version of this fantastic game and I'm a couple of hours in to it already, and though I don't like giving reviews on a game I haven't completed, I must encourage you, no, I must insist that you buy this game! It's extremely unique in every way. A one of a kind game! I got this gem at a discounted price via Big Fish and let me tell you, it's even worth the full price. If I could rate this game a 10, I would. It's that good. This game is at the top of my list of favorites to be sure. New Orleans, Mardi Gras, jazz, outstanding graphics, unique HOS and gameplay, you name it, it's got it all. So far, all the musicians and songstress have rocked the house! I'm sure I'm in for more of a treat as I listen and play on. Love the VOS, the actors are awesome! You are in for the ride of your lives; speaking of which, you've got your own, personal taxi driver to take you to the various locations. Really cool beans! Love, love, love this game! It is now my favorite! No holds barred! You bet I recommend it. It's such a sheer pleasure to be playing an intelligently written, great sounding game, that's different for a change, such as Cadenza: Music, Betrayal and Death CE version. Please, please, we need to see more games like this. Incidentally, make sure you read the credits!
I recommend this game!

You know I was starting to think that the Elephant Game developers were losing their touch, or their minds, for that matter. Aside from the fact that their music and graphics are stunning, which they are known for, their style was becoming old; not so in this game, folks, the spell has been broken. Even with a couple of grammatical errors here n' there, or a misspelled word or two--one page of text had the word unpleasany instead of unpleasant--this adventure is without a doubt, AWESOME! This game review is based upon a completed main game, CE version. I'm looking forward to the bonus game.
I need not elaborate on the storyline because that's not by thing; however, I do love a game that has momentum, and it didn't start at that way, but as I patiently went along playing in advanced mode, I saw that there was a method to the developers' madness. You do know that they're all crazy, don't you!? But I figure to get into the heads of these developers, you must think like them. There was task, after task, after task. It would behoove you to read everything; look for the etchings or sketches in every scene if need be-- there are clues everywhere. Also, you will have objects in your inventory that will sit there for a time. Pay attention to what's around you. Naturally the harder the level you choose the harder the game, but that's what makes it all so challenging. Loads and loads of things to do. Puzzles galore that only these great, but nutty developers have created. The map is wonderful, the hint button, the same. The strategy guide is there if you really, really get stuck. Most of the tasks had tasks within a task. The interactive HOS are beautifully situated, cool, crisp graphics, great music, stunning scenes. Great VOS. You have achievements, morphing objects to find. I'm ready to play the bonus game; but before I do so, I encourage you to buy the game. The bonus game involves an amulet. I shall tell you no more or I'll get in trouble with BF. Put your thinking caps on and go to it! Kudos to Elephant Games!

My review is based on the SE completed game. This is my first Treasure Seekers and it won't be my last. I liked the concept/design of this game. It was different. The intro was fine, no VOS but a lot of text, which I felt was a nuisance at times. The loading of the game took up some time, which you could skip but there was a rehashing of the story where you left off and I just wanted to get on with the it. I enjoyed finding the various objects within the circle and there were quite a few of those. The HOS were interactive and there were many of those. And then there's the ring that will transport you to the past and back to the future. That was cool but this concept is not new.The game wasn't very long but interesting. Graphics were good; puzzles were either too easy or tricky at times; no whistles or bells, which is fine by me since this game had other good aspects. However, for me, it lacked momentum. Had some glitches. And like many other games I have played thus far, the ending was rather abrupt but promises a new adventure, which I intend to explore. So with that said, I would recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

I have had the tour of my life! I actually felt like I was riding in the Gondola! My review is based on the completed CE version. This game is virtually beautiful in every way. Great storyline, magnificent graphics, a variety of HOGs, VOS awesome, game flow is excellent! Great cutscenes! What can I tell you! I respect and understand the reviewers who weren't too pleased with this game, but for me, it rocks! Load and loads of tasks to complete. An ingenious game that kept me engrossed the whole time. I didn't get bored once. That's saying something! The music, though repetitious, was lovely. After you complete the game, check out the extras and you will be able to download any of the music segments with titles. I particularly liked the one entitled, Discovery, which had somewhat of a brief Bond flavor. I also encourage you to read the credits after you complete the entire game. The EIPIX developers really outdid themselves on this one. It seems to me they really enjoy what they do. Very talented bunch! I found 41 of the 52 foxes, and most of the souvenirs and the letters, but in the extras you can finish what you missed. I played this in expert mode and did skip a few puzzles but you must be patient with some of them. Some tasks were easy and some were challenging. Great map, hint button and strategy guide if you needed it. I had a mop in my inventory for a while and thought, I'll probably be using it for some kind of spill. Nope! Butter knife was not for buttering your toast either. That may seem elementary but it was fun nevertheless. Bravo to the developers. This Italian-American thoroughly enjoyed the game and highly recommends the CE version to all.
I recommend this game!
