I am giving this a five-star because of the cleverness, the multitude of things to do, and they only way one could move on was to collect those gold coins and insert them into each coin chest, plus all the other things you had to deal with. Lots to do, my goodness! In artwork was great except for some areas were it was rather grainy and that wasn't due to my monitor either. And trying to find those gold coins at times was pretty tricky and difficult. As a matter of fact, at the end of the game I had 4 extra coins leftover. Sometimes the coins would be right in front of your face and other times lodged in walls or shelves or whatever. But the storyline was excellent. The puzzles were a mix of easy and hard I thought. The developers outdid themselves on this one. Worth buying. I highly recommend it.

Great game. I rate it a 4 1/2 stars actually. I bought the SE version and like most SE's the endings are pretty abrupt. You find who you're looking for and that's that! But the multitude of tasks had me from the get-go. The developers did a great job with this one. Good storyline with interesting characters. Great artwork. There was a lot of back n' forth going on but we should be used to that by now. I would recommend this game.

Pretty good SE game. Collected lots of raven hints and 50 out of 70 clovers which were pretty hard to detect in some scenes. Not too bad or too hard of a game. Very interesting storyline and creepy scenes, bleak in lots of areas and grainy objects here n' there, but very good artwork. No map, which would have made life easier, but a good raven hint button if you needed it. Some of the puzzles were puzzling but very clever and quite different. I would recommend this game.

After you complete the game you can read up on the magnificent Redwood and Sequoia trees. I played the collector's edition. I thought this game was excellent in every way. A great map, hint button, VOS, Puzzles, HOS, and an optional match game, you name it. Good vs. evil--demonic forces against the power of the angel Raphael, the detective and friends. A sequel is mostly likely in store for us. A lot of hard work went into this game. Kudos to the developers. You the detective will set out to save a mother/father/child and some friends. And you will also solve the mystery of Maple Creek.Quite a bit of information about the demonic forces and the conquering angel, Raphael. One particular character is a wolf in sheep's clothing! Great storyline, sound effects, objects to collect/achievements--so much going on, and it flowed pretty well. Very interesting and informative game. I highly recommend it.

Well, aside from the fact that the graphics were rather grainy and that this game contained a whole lot of junk pile HOS, not a map really to speak of, a pretty good hint button, some puzzles you absolutely could not skip, and some you could, I'd would have given this a 5-star. Real-life actors, great storyline, so much to do, rather chaotic, mind you, and you're all over the place. The setting was gloomy, of course, but the actors were absolutely wonderful! Except for the ending, which I wasn't all that crazy about for reasons I cannot explain here but if you play the game you'll understand why. The game was rather frustrating at times but I'm not a quitter and I'm glad I stuck it out. Obtaining the13 skulls was extremely challenging and fun and I've never played a game like this before. I consider myself an expert but after using the hint button and skipping a couple of the puzzles that were permitted, I'd say I'm between intermediate and expert mode. Is there such a mode? Whew! This was extremely challenging and not a short game either. A lot of thought went into this game and the actors made it exciting as well. A decent, transporting map should have been included; nonetheless, I highly recommend this game. It may drive you batty!

I would still recommend it. A little off the wall a bit but a fun game. HOS were muddy in some areas, junk piles in others; puzzles okay. Solving DNA findings, silhouettes and interactive inventory items were fun, really. So there was a variety. Hint button was good; map--so-so. But believe me I don't knock these games because whether the game is an A+ or C- a lot of work goes into these games and I commend the developers no matter what. I played the SE edition and I'm not sorry I bought it. I recommend it.

Good game and loads of things to do. I bought the Standard Edition and am almost finished with the game. You won't be bored with it and though the scenery is a bit gloomy and dark, you don't mind because of the activities. It moves right along. The villain is a weirdo but you ultimately save the victims and the day. The artwork is very good considering the dreary atmospheres, and some of the HOS were grainy, still I recommend this game highly.

I love the previous Dana Knightstone mystery, and this is no exception. It started out easy but let me tell you the puzzles were at times 'puzzling.' Beautiful scenery, great narration, and text. There was a variety of things to do. I wasn't bored the least bit with game. No VOS except for Dana's narration. Still it was a great game with lots to do and again, flow is important to me and this game did just that. Pretty much up-to-date with flash drives rather than scripts with floppy discs! The bonus game was great. I rated this a 4 1/2 stars. Sure, there are more sophisticated games with special effects, you know, the works. I chuckled, however, at the character, Paolo, who always had a smile on his face even during danger. Some of the characters were quite handsome, I may add. But this game, in and of itself, was excellent and lots of fun. I highly recommend it.

I loved this game. Eipix really did a great job with this one. I even enjoyed reading the credits at the end. Cute! If you want variety and great flow, this is the game for you. Artwork/graphics are dark in some areas of the HOS but you will find everything. Finding objects and utilizing them with other objects was cool. Some of the puzzles were tricky but not terribly hard. You had quite a variety of things to do and once you were done with the scene you pretty much moved on. It was quick and flowing and extremely clever. I loved the characters, the VOS, the storyline, the music. The special effects and music were neat and fun. There are other games out there that may offer more in the graphics and special effects departments, but I have to commend the developers on this one! Kudos to everyone! So much fun! I highly recommend it.

Lots to do in this game, which I enjoy. Your inventory will be well-stocked and, obviously, you will use all of them but for me when the items linger for too long, I get a bit nervous. And when you obtain some objects that's not the end of it. So there was a lot of that going on. But it is a good game. Crashed on me twice. Yes, my video card is up to date and I didn't bother reporting it, nor search the message boards. I just want to buy the game and play it! I worked around the problems and was halfway through the bonus game and it crashed again with a prompt stating my profile was corrupted. But again, throughout the problems, I was able to play up to that point. A lot of thought was put into this game and with the kinks out, I would recommend it. Good VOS, great artwork, intro was a bit too long but all in all it was a good game. The map was good but inconsistent. Good hint button. Hardly used it but when I did it came in handy. There is a strategy guide if you need it. I give the game 4 stars.
I recommend this game!
