This game was really enjoyable. The level designs were challenging and unique, and the game pieces were nicely done. The game's greatest feature was the music. I honestly would love to have just the puzzle song available for purchase, it was so easy on the ears and fit the theme. I only give 4/5 on visual/sound quality because I felt that the fonts used in the game could have been more legible/appealing to look at.
I thought that the in-game power-ups and features were also a nice touch, such as the origami crane power-up and the kanji writing with collecting pen brushes. The story was a bit lackluster, at least in the demo, but hopefully it picks up in the full game.
I felt that it might've been a bit stereotypically Japanese, but other than that this game was a really nice way to spend my time. Can't wait to buy the whole game!
I recommend this game!

Finally! A Collector's Edition that's worth it! I can't believe all the extra levels that are packed into an already content rich game.
Jewel Match Solitaire has all the bells and whistles of a fun, but still challenging, solitaire game. The main game is your typical one card up or down style, but as you play you can unlock lots of other solitaire styles that are super fun! I had never heard of "Four Colors" Solitaire before and I really enjoyed it!
The Strategy Guide is an excellent resource with more than just information on how to play. There are a lot of tips and tricks that helped even a Solitaire "Pro" like myself!
You also are building some gorgeous castles, as you progress through the game, that make great screensavers!
This is a MUST HAVE for your Solitaire library! So go on...GET IT! You won't be disappointed.
I recommend this game!

I'll start with what I liked about this game. I thought that the game mechanics and styles of the food were unique. The music wasn't unbearable, and I enjoyed the combos at the bottom of the screen you could do in order to boost how much money you make, or how happy your guests are. Plus, like most time managements, this game was addicting!
However, it had its flaws. I didn't like just how much was going on at one time, and how difficult it quickly became, even towards the beginning of the game. I also didn't like how you could only upgrade your kitchen at certain times, unlike most time management when it's before each level. Also, the art is just mediocre, but that's just my opinion.
Overall I thought it was a fun game, but it has its problems.
I recommend this game!

I'll start off with what I liked. I thought the art was lovely, and the cutscenes certainly had a good creepy factor to them. I was intrigued with the story at the beginning, and the doll designs were interesting.
Otherwise, I was not a fan of this game. Maybe it's nitpicky, but I didn't enjoy how a drum sounded every single time you clicked on something, or how the dialogue font was comic sans when other fonts on the toolbar/etc better suited the style. (I know comic sans is better accessible for those with dyslexia/etc and they might have had their reasons to use it, but come on! It doesn't seem professional.)
The HOPs had certain objects in the smallest of places, and they often felt like a chore based on just how many objects were in the scene. There weren't any hints when not in HOPs, either, meaning I had to keep checking the strategy guide if I was ever stuck. (Which, I suppose I should be grateful for.)
Overall, this game wasn't my cup of tea.
I don't recommend this game.

Personally, I really enjoyed this game. From the get go, the art was beautiful, and the title screen already prepared me for a spooky game. The sound effects throughout were so similar to an actual horror movie!
The game does a fantastic job building its atmosphere. Its characters onscreen move so lifelike! Though I think the game (albeit on easy mode) could be a bit more difficult, I liked the unique aspects of the game, such as a clown nose being the key to a child's door lock. The HOPs were unique, as well, such as finding the parts to and fixing a child's toys.
The storyline, at least from the demo, didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary, but I still enjoyed how it was implemented in the game. Definitely interested in finding out what happens next!
Overall, I really liked this game.
I recommend this game!

Beautifully done game! For the most part the visuals and graphics were beautiful, though I give 4/5 since the cutscene quality could be better. Music was well done and pleasing to listen to. Storyline was a bit all over the place and hard to get involved in, at least from the beginning, but it was coherent enough to understand when it was prevalent.
The hidden object puzzles were just the right amount of challenging. I enjoyed the minigames and puzzles that were spread throughout. I liked how you actually had to memorize and perform spells with a magic wand in the air, instead of having a cutscene that does it all for you.
Overall a gorgeous game with unique aspects that make it charming.
I recommend this game!

I couldn't put this game down! I was hooked by the first level. The game mechanics were simple and easy to get the hang of. Levels got harder and harder as time went on, but in a good way! Eventually you had to evaluate what you wanted to spend your money on, since there were a variety of upgrades for your cafe that were kind of pricey. This was a great touch as opposed to making it very easy to accumulate money for cheap upgrades.
Though the visuals could be better, I'm sure they just didn't hold up to today's standards. The story also wasn't anything to write home about, but for a non plot-driven game I can't complain too much.
Overall an incredibly addicting game that you won't be able to put down!
I recommend this game!

I'll start with what I enjoyed. The voice acting was decent for the most part. The music was lovely, and overall the visuals were appealing to look at. The title screen with Marco Polo and someone from the Zambatti family, with playable dialogue if you clicked on them, was unique.
Otherwise, nothing in the game caught my interest. The story is what most repelled me. It was not at all anything unique, trying to take a confusing thought process and make it into something cool and exciting. The Japanese elements thrown into the story felt bland and stereotypical of the secret agent genre they seemed to be trying for.
The gameplay itself wasn't actually that unbearable. Though it did not bring anything new to the table, it was difficult enough to keep me engaged until the end of the demo.
Overall I wouldn't recommend this game, but it could easily be someone else's cup of tea.
I don't recommend this game.

Firstly I'll start out with what I liked about the game. Overall I enjoyed the visuals, despite being a bit too colorful for my tastes. I appreciated having an alternative to the HOPs whenever I wasn't able to find an object. Some aspects of the game, like the diagnostic lens, were unique and intriguing.
However, I felt the negatives outweighed the positives. Sometimes certain sound effects would be quiet and then another sound effect immediately after would be incredibly loud. The story wasn't too interesting, though it had its moments of uniqueness. I felt there was way too much to collect in order to advance the story, I was lost about halfway through the demo and the hints weren't helpful.
Overall nothing to write home about. Might be someone else's cup of tea, but it wasn't mine.
I don't recommend this game.

Where to begin? I loved the opening cutscene and screen, with lovely visuals and hauntingly beautiful music. I already was hooked the second I started the game!
The voice acting was excellent, it felt very realistic for a game set in Paris. Storyline was fantastic, I felt involved and intrigued for the entire game. Minigames were all the right level of challenge and spread across the game, instead of predictably placed and sparse. The game overall was very interactive, such as taking something from a character during dialogue and the level of interaction between your inventory and the scenes.
Hidden object puzzles were incredibly unique, at least what was seen in the demo. Instead of only finding objects on the scene, players also placed objects in the inventory back onto the scene where they belonged.
Overall would recommend this game!
