I played the CE of this game when it came out. There are collectables in the CE and you can replay mini-games. (As if there aren't enough in the main story). Also, the standard extra music, walpaper, etc. There are 3 modes to choose from. The graphics are along the typical ERS standards. The entire game is so similar, graphically wise and music wise to their other games, it's becoming quite annoying actually. The mini games were simplistic. As usual, there are the multitude of HOS. You get a helper puppet who can go places you can't reach. (Perhaps they ran out of "hooks": or grappling items?) lol. The graphics are bright, the voice of little Felicia is grating. Perhaps the first 2 or 3 puppetshow games were sufficient.... in my opinion. This game seems like it's just dragging along trying to squeeze the puppet story to death. I'd give it a recommend bc I know there are people who have followed this series. For me, however, it's a no-buy.

Another Edgar Allan Poe Story. Yay !!! I love all of his books and have enjoyed every game in this series. We have Dupin :) And a pet cat also, for whom we are able to collect items. There are achievements, a transportable map, journal, a camera to use whenever you like. Being an ERS game, its format is very similar to their other games ( cookie cutter games ). However, I cannot pass on Poe !!! The hidden object scenes are good, interactive. The inventory bar at the bottom is crowded for some reason. I do not like that. I personally thought the Gold Bug was better, however, this is a great game. Enjoy :)))

The story, what there is of it.... you open up a buffet restaurant. Colors are drab. Graphics are drab. Customers are drab. No music. Basically you seat customers. I guess they somehow get their own food from the buffet although it doesn't show them doing this. You clear the plates. Restock the buffet if necessary. However, it doesn't tell you what on the buffet table is getting low, so you really have to guess. Then, you seat more customers. Over and over and over. You can click ahead, but you are not able to see what or where you clicked. (No check marks or anything). This game is AWFUL.
I don't recommend this game.

I've enjoyed all the Redemption Cemetery games. Here, the developers hiked it up a notch. The plot is similar to the other games.... help save the souls of the restless dead. Now you get a map that is transportable. You have the raven again, but he is able to go into different elements ... dig, go into fire, etc. To get the raven to do this, you play mini games to "charge" that element. You also have a puppy that you are collecting medallions for, and with those, you can get trophies. There is a journal, hint button which recharges quickly, skip button which also charges quickly. 3 modes of play. I played on the easiest when trying out the demo. Very few HOS (yay). Puzzles were on the easy side. Graphics are crisp and clear and game ran perfectly. I do have to agree with Nilosh and his review.... there is just TOO much. The charging up of the raven (for me) interfered with the game play by having to stop and play the mini game. There is little to no interaction with other characters except for the ghosts telling you of their wrongs. I'm on the fence with this one. I liked it, but not enough to purchase the CE.

How much dust was brushed off this game to bring it out into the open? Oh my. It should have stayed buried. Strictly HO game. Dark, grainy, horrible visuals. Poor artistry. The woman looked cross-eyed. Enough. Re-bury it lol.
I don't recommend this game.

First off, I will say this type of game is right up my alley. Spooky, dark, creepy. That''s all good. Hidden object scenes were ok. Interactive. Puzzles were very easy. I hate to say it, because I don't have much patience with real difficult puzzles, but they were too easy. Music was good and creepy. Visuals were dark, but that's to be expected. No misclick penalty for HOS. That is a huge plus. That penalty annoys me to no end. Map is interactive and transporting. Another plus. Now for the downside... the game was short. Yes, there were a lot of collectibles and achievements, etc. But collecting things, IMHO, doesn't equal selling a game at twice the price of a SE game. I would much rather see a high quallity game, then all the collectibles and "fluff" that the developers are putting into games lately to make them appear CE worthy. Again, just my opinion. I will gladly wait for the SE game. I don't use wallpaper, etc., not did I use the SG once.

Oh yes, this is a good one. A game that immediately grabs your attention and pulls you in. This game has it all going on. Lots of adventure. Some very interesting IHOS. Puzzles. Collectables. Achievements. Strategy guide. Hint refills quickly if you need it, which you probably wont. It was an interactive map, yay, that just jets you right over to where you need to be, which is helpful because there are a lot of places to go as the game progresses. I didn't find this difficult, even though I am sort of new to this genre of game. Game ran great, no glitches. Sound and visuals were fine. I give this a 2 thumbs up. I've been waiting for a new game that caught my attention and here it is. Highly recommend !!!!!

Based on the demo, this is a builder TM game which soo reminds me of another game, but I cannot think of which one. One reviewer mentions there is a relaxed mode.... I don't see a choice of modes. There is a LOT of talking between characters going on. Everything is small. I used to love TM games, especially Roads to Rome and Island Tribe, and I still do go back to those 2 series of games as filler games. This one, I'm not seeing it. I found it hard to see what was in my inventory. This game, to me, wasn't bad, but neither was it good. I will wait for some reviews of people who have played the entire game. It says it has 50 levels, but the levels are so short, it's not a long game at all.
I recommend this game!

I played the CE demo of this game when it came out and absolutely loved it. It was one of those games that appealed to me from the very beginning. Not too many HOS, yay. There is a lot going on in the game. You do get a scent catcher to make different fragrances. Visuals were great. Story line good. I have no complaints with this game. Puzzles were good and enjoyable. I very very seldom buy CE games, so was very happy to see this come out as a SE today. Downloading it now.

Oh my... where to start. You are somehow dead. How? I have no idea. However, you go back home and convince your sister you are dead but not to fear!!! You make your sister a nice cup of tea and give her cake and pills and she's ok with this concept. As for the game itself, you basically play simplistic hidden object scenes. You get an item. Use it more or less in the same room. Repeat. There are VOs sadly (in this case). The story? is divided into chapters. There is no choice of difficulty level. The hint button which I didn't need, but did try out is basically useless. There are a few, and a scant few at that, mini games tossed in that a child could solve. I honestly don't know if there was music or not. I suppose if you like to find a hidden object, be told where to use it, and do it all again, you may like this game. For me it was senseless.
I don't recommend this game.
