I really enjoyed this game. It got me excited for the upcoming Halloween season. A true solitaire fan will greatly appreciate this game. I loved the "extras" you could purchase with the levels passed. I certainly needed them from time to time. I enjoyed the storyline, as small as it was. It was cohesive. In between each "venue" of play, there was a very mini interactive scene to progress you to the next level. Not difficult at all. It was a load of fun & I would definitely recommend it.
I recommend this game!

I played through the whole trial period on this one. I wanted to go ahead and write this review before I purchased it. So far, this game is great to play. The visuals were really good. They weren't pristine & sharp, but still good. The story line makes sense and is sticking with plot thus far. The hidden object scenes are fun to play because they provide you with different styles of games. You have the "find the shape" HOS, and the "find the multiple "one item" HOS. I haven't done one of the "typical" ones yet. An interactive map is provided - thank goodness because I LOVE interactive maps. A diary keeps the story line in order. The clues you collect are used in a timely manner. Some games you end up collecting a WHOLE bunch of stuff and not use them until MUCH later. This game does not do that. The mini games are not really hard. But if you need the SKIP button, it doesn't take too long to charge. You will not waste your money on this game. It has all of the qualities you would expect from ERS games. A must have for any collection!
I recommend this game!

I absolutely LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this game. It was very interactive and a joy to play. The story line was cohesive and made sense. The visuals were beautiful. I enjoyed the hidden object games. They weren't overwhelming and they had different styles of HO scenes. The mini black & white movies were fun to look at because they explained the story line in further detail. But not only did you get to "watch" the movie, you had interactive play WITHIN the movie - hidden object, or should I say, "misplaced" object scenes. After you finished with them, you were given a clue that you would need to finish the game. It was wonderful. The mini games were somewhat challenging. The skip button charged rather quickly if you needed to bypass a game. I cannot say enough about this game! Oh, maybe one or two others. At the end of the game, you get to "fight". The story didn't just end "and they lived happily ever after." No, you had to "fight" for that ending. This game is the best one I have played so far and in a long time! You will not regret purchasing this game!
I recommend this game!

Don't let the title fool you. I do plan on buying this game. But I'm not so excited about it that I am going to do it just this second. The fun factor for me was ok. The visual aspect was good, but not great as I have seen on some other games. I love razor sharp images. The level of challenge was just about right and if not, the skip meter charges up rather quickly. There was no interactive map. But so far on the trial version, one is not needed. The storyline, for me, is the best part of the game. THAT factor is what is going to make me buy this game. My curiousity is definitely peeked and I do want to know how it ends. I anticipate a good ending, at least for the heroine. I am hoping that there will be more back story on the witch in the story as well. I do recommend the game. I just have a few others that take precedent over this one.
I recommend this game!

I loved every facet of this game. It was fun to collect the deck of cards that the organ grinder dealt to those who wronged him. Not only did it rhyme, but it also helped to move the story along for WHY these individuals were dealt these cards. The visuals were superb. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE sharp graphics and this game was beautifully crisp! The challenges were not too hard - very doable. And if not, the SKIP meter charged up rather quickly. And the storyline was on point. It made sense and it flowed easily. Not at all hard to follow. There was a map, (which I loved). And I also loved the ending because it was a mini game at the ending as well. You will not waste any money, game credits or coupon codes on this game. It is definitely a WINNER!
I recommend this game!

I just finished playing the trial version and needless to say, it will NOT be added to my collection of Big Fish Games. It just was NOT for me. Maybe I am a little spoiled by other games that I have played, (which are much better). But I found the storyline to be weak. It was understandable, but dull. It wasn't enough to hold my attention and decide to myself that I had to play this to the end to see what the end result would be. And after reading the reviews prior to posting my own, it would have been a waste of time anyway because apparently gameplay would have been between 15 mins to an hour additional. It was kinda cool to make the potions. But the constant going back & forth to the various locations was tedious. So obviously no map was provided. The storybook was more like a notepad where you had the ingredients for your potions and codes only. The few lines of dialogue was posted on screen, but not in a narrative type way. It was more of an observation. The visuals were about the best thing happening for this game. All other factors were "cursed." I'm not sure who made this particular game. But it must have been their first attempt at game making - which would explain a lot, and therefore make my review, as well as others, more understandable. However, my opinion is: DO NOT PURCHASE! You will regret it.
I don't recommend this game.

I didn't get the chance to play this game until about 2 weeks or so after purchase because I had some issues. But once I began to play it again, I wasn't sure why I chose to buy this one. But the more I got into it, I remembered. The storyline was an interesting one and a cohesive one. The "happy ending" was bittersweet. It was fun to play because some of the mini hidden object scenes were ones in which you had to find maybe 10-15 of one item. The mini games were somewhat challenging for me. So that was good. The visuals were sharp, as I like it. Overall, I think it was a good purchase. I see that this game has mixed reviews. So make sure you take advantage of the 1 hour trial on this one. However, I still recommend it.
I recommend this game!

Overall, I liked this game. I definitely recommend it if you liked the first one in the series. I did wish it had an interactive map. It was more of a "locator" map that showed you where you were in the game and if you had a task to do there. I was thrown off by one location because it said I had a task left undone. But there really wasn't one there to complete. This sequel did stick to the original formula by allowing you to go into pictures drawn by the characters in the game that you need to save, in order to complete the game. This game also continued with the original concept of collecting origami animals along the way. This time it went a step further by showing you background into some of the characters of the game. The mini games were challenging. I liked that you weren't overwhelmed with HOGs! The visuals were spot-on. The storyline was a continuation of the original, but just quite a few years later. Admittedly, I was a little disappointed with the ending. But it wasn't a bad or sad one. I just wanted a different outcome is all. I think this is a good purchase. You should not be disappointed.
I recommend this game!

I could only endure 30 minutes of this game. So of course, I will not be buying it. I was bored ot death with this one! I tried to get into it. But simply COULD NOT! It was no fun for me. The visuals were only ok. I have definitely played games with better graphics. The HOGs were ok. They were "find the shape" games. Those are ok from time to time and spread out in a game. But I'm not one to have to repeatedly look for those type of HOGs. The mini games were simple. An interactive map should have been provided - even for the short amount of time I played the game. I can't comment too much about the storyline because I don't think I played it long enough to see the results of it or to see if it was a cohesive one. And sadly, I have no interest in seeing where it goes. Please play the trial FIRST! However, it gets a thumbs down from me! Good luck to those who purchase first and play later...
I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed almost everything about the game. I only wish they would have provided an interactive map. All else I enjoyed. It was fun traveling to the different locations. The visual aspects were up to par. The challenges of the mini games ranged from simple to slightly challenging. The storyline is cohesive with the game itself, as well as the other PuppetShow series of games. This is one where you will not mind spending your money. Check it out.
