I am convinced I have played this game before but a VERY long time ago!
Looking at the style and difficulty levels increases my inkling that this one has come off a dusty shelf where it has lain for several years!
Cartoonish artwork, almost no attempt at lip-synching, easy puzzles and HOS - all reinforcing my suspicions.
A jump-map is included, although in the demo I hardly used it as everything fell into place quite easily. There was lot of hand-holding too, far more than I would normally like!
This game may suit an absolute beginner to ease them into the genre but for anyone else I think they'd soon get bored, so, sorry BFG but its not for me!
However, please try it for yourselves and just maybe you will find something in it that attracts you!

I lasted through 13 minutes of the demo and tbh I'm surprised I got that far!
I don't recommend this game.

I might have enjoyed this game more if it had been the start of a new series! That might sound daft but quite honestly this series has been getting sillier and sillier over time and the last couple of instalments would seem to have little in common with the original few episodes!
This offering may be fun for new members but luring me in with the series title does not enamour me when the game is so NOT a Witches Legacy game!

I have never found a game before that celebrates a holiday the I have liked, they always seem to me to be cobbled together in a hurry with little thought given to their presentation, but this one gave me a pleasant surprise!
Yes the story is bit twee but hey, what do you expect, its Christmas after all!!!
The puzzles and HOS are reasonably challenging without being what I call "Adult hard" which is ok by me as it's presumably mainly aimed at the younger ones amongst us. Visuals and sound are good and the whole package is just good family fun!
For an old cynic like me to give this game 4 stars it's got to have something going for it so come on - yes even you "bah humbug" folks - at least give the demo a shot!

As is often the case I agree with Granny Gruff on this one!
The Queen would appear to be Elizabeth the First of England given her Tudor dress, English accent, her red hair and her name although Captain Louis appears to be dressed in a style worn much later in history. Also, if the Queen is who I suspect she is, the likelihood that her trusted agent would seem, from one particular sentence, to be Irish and the Captain of her guard having a Scottish accent is very unlikely!
There's nothing new so far, (I have only played the demo) and that suggests there probably won't be if I decide to buy the game and play to the end. Certainly the challenges presented thus far are on the easy side for me. I may wait for the SE and grab this one on a freebie!

I have only played the demo so far but i already love this game, despite being sure I have played it before a long time ago!
The storyline is not new but then if someone came up with a really new story they'd probably sell it to a film company and make much more money so my expectations on that front are always fairly low.,
The graphics are good, the music unobtrusive and the HOSs nicely done - so far they seem to be of the type where you find an object and use it to acces another object etc etc.
Everything seems to be well thought out and logical which makes a refreshing change - I get so fed up with things being hidden in ridiculous places and the most unlikely objects being used to perform tasks they are not drsigned for and probaby incapable of carrying out! Also, for once, a useful object is held onto instead of forever having to find yet another screwdriver or whatever for the third time because last time you used one you threw it away!
The voiceovers are decent and in sync with the graphics which is good.
All in all I have really enjoyed playing this game so far and will be buying it but that is only my opinion and I suggest you try the demo first to see if you agree.

Sorry to be the first to put a downer on this but really this is just more of the same old same old! Ok, so theres more colours - sorry but Im not particularly excited by that! After 16 in the series I am still just filling in the grids and while the puzzles can be quite challenging I cant get interested in buying more than one in the series to play once every 6 months!
No doubt many of you will like this for the slight differences but I do suggest you try the demo first?

Someone once said "Lifes too short to spend it stuffing mushrooms" and thats how i feel about this game! If you enjoy being driven nuts by a game then this is the one for you! I quit after just a few levels as I felt a headache coming on!
I don't recommend this game.

I only played the demo, and I doubt if I will buy this one.
The original Phantasmat was amongst my favourites but I feel the serires has very slowly but very surely gone downhill since. As always from this developer the graphics and sound are excellent but thats about the only praise I can hand out in this case!
I failed to whip up any enthusiasm for the characters or the story-line and see this as an OK game if you are new to gaming or Phantasmat in particular but otherwise nothing to write home about.
Try it and see is all I can say!

Only played the demo so far but as soon as I am ready to buy a new game this one will be it! I felt involved with the story and characters and I so want to find out where the tale goes after the demo.
