This game is wonderful [in my opinion]. I love to renovate & decorate homes in real life and in the virtual world too so this was a gem for me to discover. To be honest, I bought it right away before reading the comments section because I was ultra excited to find it: Home décor games are so few and far between to locate: anyway, I think this is the BEST of them that Big Fish has to offer. You get to be an interior decorator [working together with a building renovator] and through hidden object games in tool stores, furniture showrooms, rooms to be renovated, construction sites, etc. you earn what you need to proceed. There are several colour and style choices to pick from in a penthouse apartment, condominium, houses, estate manor, even in an office. Most of the renovation is interior and some is exterior. I played a relaxed mode to find the HOs and I forget if there is a timed option but a hint button is available if needed. Overall, this activity was artistically satisfying and I was so disappointed when it ended, I wish it were one of those games that goes on and on and on, haha. Anyway, my only complaint is that there are not many creative pastimes like this one, I hope there will be more! PLEASE?
I recommend this game!

This game could probably be rated 3.5 but I gave it 4 stars to counteract the lower ratings that I thought were unwarranted. Commenters did mention that some of the hidden objects were unusually tiny to locate [true] but in fact, if I ever needed help with the hint button, that happened only once per HO game. Also, there were some different types of mini-games I liked but if a few were too difficult, a SKIP feature was available. The creepiest part of this game is that Rasputin was true to his magnetic form: compelling in looks, powerful in influence/fame but also abusive in his power. The heroine had conflict in her present marriage and a desire to know more of her family's Russian roots. I liked the fact that Lora's relationship with her husband was not all hunky-dory as is usual in these games...so yeah, all in all, I enjoyed the Russian flair to the images and back & forth storyline; the music was fitting imo; and the many scenes including artistic depictions of the real Rasputin were spot-on: unsettling but fun!

I simply LOVED this beautiful romantic cliff-hanger: SO well made, interesting characters, moving drama, wonderful graphics, awesome poignant/haunting music. I was going to write a review but found more than 70 others have already assessed it so I decided to comment on the Strategy Guide. Although the lovers' storyline is straightforward, the game play is not all that easy [to my thinking] and though I did not need an intense amount of assistance [ugh! I hate that!] there were times when I was definitely happy to have this guide because I was enjoying the evolving tale very much....and searching through a forum [or google] for assistance can really break one's focus. As the game progresses, some mystery clues are difficult to solve so the guide is handy. And Although there are various hidden objects to be found interactively and the hint button helps with that....there are definitely some challenging mini-puzzles to solve and this guide is useful [unless you prefer to use the SKIP button]. Whenever I referred to the guide and resumed my game...one aspect I liked a lot is that if I re-opened the guide, it had stayed right on the page where I had last been. I hope there will be many more love story games [with accompanying guides] as I ENJOYED this duo so so much. Thank you.
I recommend this game!

I really liked this game overall and would probably rate it four and a half stars if I could. So I gave it 5 stars because it had a lot going for it: good graphics with a half-century old look to the environment. And that's mostly when this story takes place so a lot of the locations, decor and memorabilia seem authentic. Some historical footage is presented in clever ways but a mystery is mainly evolving here and though you might imagine it's a flashback to prevent JFK's fate, it is not....the drama unfolds in another direction. One thing I loved about the hint button, is that it showed you where to go next IF you got stuck. Also, there is a map. The HOs and mini-games are not too difficult and a Skip button is available if desired. I never needed help outside the game YaY as that can distract my focus. As well, the story was a good length to my thinking because I'm not fond of the horrendously intricate games that go on and on and on on on ononon....

WoW I thought this game was terrific because it was not overly complicated and not full of so much tracking back & forth and not loaded with ridiculous plot development and not leaving you baffled where to go next. But even though it was a "manageable" mystery, that is not to say that it was overly easy yet I was very excited that I only needed outside help with making tea. [I went to the BF forum but found no comments were helpful to me; then I figured out how to make the tea and left detailed info about the process on that forum]. In this game, the graphic art was lovely and you seldom return to a scene again [after leaving each specific area]. If you are unsure where to look for clues next, the hint button assists with story evolvement. There are Hidden Objects--not usually hard to find--and mini-games [many of which I played but if any seemed too difficult, a skip button was available]. I liked the voices and sounds and the game was imo not too long and not so hard that I needed a strategy guide as I enjoy the fun of solving by myself. Tbh, in the past I have found many BF mysteries to be exhaustingly long & drawn out and so difficult to solve that I think many members here might have MENSA I.Q.s But not so with this game, it was a pleasure to play and I would buy a whole series of Elisa Cameron games if Big Fish gets any more. FIVE STARZ! *****

Okay I am mad now....HOW can you plunk a solid stone wall at the bottom of a Match 3 game and then NOT ONE of the four power-ups works to destroy it? Huh? Not even the bomb? Huh? Do developers think this is fun for a gamer? Wrongo! I am commenting mainly on Level 49 in China: Before that, the game was exciting and fun, even challenging but still do-able. But Level 49 had all the needed components stacked into a 1-tile-width passageway with an unbreakable wall at bottom. WHAT? Yes, I could have worked each separate artifact tile waaaaaay around the wall match by match [when 1 finally came along] but it would have taken forev even if you could switch to untimed mode though there wasn't one. Grrr. This was a great waste of my time to stop mid-game but even worse, what a great waste of the other talents that created this game: wonderful graphics, music and different scenes. Tbh, I really loved playing until China was reached but then the challenges were like omg ridiculous. BAH!
I don't recommend this game.

Geisha - The Secret Garden
Follow a Geisha on her dream journey through all four seasons! Help Natsumi create a zen garden using your Match 3 skills!
I had no clue what I was doing in this game BUT I have never played Mahjong so I figured I might pick it up here. Wrong! There was lovely music and a seasonal map which a cute person walked across...then there were rising tiles but if they got too high a dragon would roar at me. I tried to eliminate tiles but some froze or cracked or had piles of autumn leaves or winter snow on them. I would clear them & clear them but then had not enough time to match so that dragon would roar! Quite often, I would activate a force of some kind and this feat was announced regularly: No idea how I managed to do that. Eventually, I was told I had completed each level and the screen brought me to a scene where I could buy items [with my points] to create a Japanese garden. These things seemed disappointingly basic till I finally realized there were several upgrades for each purchase and then the garden became rather artistic. In fairness to the developers, there were instructions for the game and power-ups too but they were not easy for me to understand: I can be quite bright at times and thick as a plank at other times...so this game was hard for me. Why did I keep playing it? Well, the music was soothing and I liked earning money points for decorating the garden. End of.
I recommend this game!

This is a great Match 3 game with scary pop-up "monsters" (spiders, bats, turtles) that try to add tiles or chains to your work-in-progress: But your cursor develops cross-hairs (lol) and you can shoot them down---the quicker the better. Added to this fun, each level has one Hidden Object puzzle and it is well done with items tucked away cleverly...so I looked forward to each new HOG actually, I wish there had been more. The largest of the spiders frightened me but there is/was a game-assist tool [among other icons] which helped me reach my goals. The music and graphics are excellent and I give this game five stars *****. [Btw, I played at casual level cuz that was challenging enough for me.]

To quote Charles Dickens: "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." This is the scariest game I ever played EVER! Yes, the clever graphics changed decorative manor items from pretty in daylight to terrifying at night but the horror of this game [for me] was NOT anything visual but the realization that a "Free to Play" [F2P] game is anything but free to play, it is only free to download F2D. Then, you have to have the Biblical patience of Job to wait for your land & certain objects to rez [one week for some!] with blurry sparkles messing up your screen view OR you can buy gold bars & silver coins---at hugely inflated prices---to clear/rez your territory & decor immediately. My problem was that I was starved for a game to express myself artistically so I got into DM with the driven intensity of Van Gogh in his last year of creating. I was obsessed with forming a picturesque village on my "Sloaneholm" grounds [unlike most of the other players' sites that resembled junkyards or auction sites, imo]. The creative high for me was like WOW and the HOGs were fun too, though you could mainly play 3 at one time unless you spent MORE of your gold & silver. The downside of this game for me was when I took a look at my bank statement and tallied the shameful amount of hard-earned savings that were blown on some pixels! Anyway, if you are rich and have multi-hundreds of dollars to blow at whim, then I recommend this exciting, brilliant, addictive game highly BUT be forewarned: If you don't have much money to spare [or amazing self-control re: endurance], I'd advise you to steer clear of this money-guzzler, even RUN! [PS. I've written this review long after others have been submitted so the chances of gamers even viewing this are slim but I felt compelled to tell my truth anyway.]
I don't recommend this game.

This is a wonderful Match 3 game with several pretty garden selections to decorate with flowers, birds, butterflies, animals, bushes, trees, statues etc. Artistically, I created lovely elegant gardens BUT then I went back and crammed every item I could into these settings till I could barely distinguish 1 thing from another!! WHY? Because also in this game is an alternative option to play instead of Match 3 style. It is called "Box Clear" and I just LOVED playing Box Clear!! So fun, challenging too but not too hard, just very enjoyable to my thinking. I WISH the developers would create a Flower Paradise 2 [or a Village Paradise?] with more Box Clears, please? [FYI, Maybe the BC alternative is available right away in the game but I did not notice it & try it till after playing a few levels.] PS. The music is pleasant & floral-growth-promoting :D
