Good game overall & you get 2 great extras!! (to keep)
I really like this game by National Geographic. It has an interesting present/past storyline and the play-through reveals just enough authenic historical facts & interesting photos---but not too many. The HOs are artistically lovely with items from the period and with hauntingly beautiful music: turn up the volume! There are other fun mini-challenges and the vintage car game is really cool! I cheated with the 2 hardest puzzles and found a walkthrough solution on the net, lol. The one aspect I didn't like was trying to figure out which area of the ship to go to next [at times]....but still, I figured it out. Tbh, this is probably a four-star game but I must rate it with 5 stars because in the extras, there is the cool vintage card game that you can play over again BUT the masterpiece of this entire game is/was SOUNDTRACK 3 [available to you forever in the extras] and it is stunningly mellow in a sweet, poignant way....it's special like Pachelbel's Canon. You'll see!
I recommend this game!

Before getting carpel tunnel injury from having to click the same HOs over and over and over and over because time kept running out, I simply quit after an hour or two of that unpleasant repetitiveness. Fyi, the HO scenes are in groups/sets of two and they have a combined time so IF you get the objects in one, there is rarely enough time left for the second scene....so they BOTH have to be done again and again [because many objects change] and when you FINALLY attain that level, what is the next level? MORE sets of timed HOs without adequate time to locate all items unless you're a Type A personality who enjoys hysteria mounting within to the point of self-immolation [in real life] from anxiety-induced spontaneous human combustion!!! [Then you won't ever be able to play the AWESOME games Big Fish has to offer!] PS. I apologize for my review seeming unfair but tbh, it's an honest critique of a very unfair game.
I don't recommend this game.

Nancy Drew: Warnings at Waverly Academy
Go undercover at a prestigious girls’ boarding school to discover the culprit behind threatening notes and dangerous accidents!
I loved this very much because I've wanted a boarding school game for so long! This did not disappoint (in graphics or plot) and the added bonus of sometimes working in the library's computer was clever and fun. Likewise, the interactive games with Leela were cool. The only downside for me was how hard some of the puzzles were but I did locate assistance outside of the game. I was determined to persevere as I wanted to see how the storyline played out. Awesome game! PS. a tip 4 u: Open the display case before photographing the trophy icon pic: I learned this only after many, many tries. One request for the creators: Please, PLEASE make another boarding school mystery <3
I recommend this game!

American reporter falls for exotic Prince & gets BIG scoop!!
I hoped to give five stars here to encourage more love story games on Big Fish but it was a bit simple...though that IS part of this game's charm. I rate it 4 stars for its ease-of-flow and the FUN of the "spot the differences" puzzle pages and the lovely eastern music. There were a few too many HOs but they were alright except some items were tiny *Owie on my eyes* Overall, I enjoyed this pleasant game, though, because I want to play love story games....since life is not always about werewolves, ghosts, asylums, guns!! heh PS. The prince was hunky YaY.
I recommend this game!

I am disappointed by some reviews for this game as I thoroughly enjoyed it. The mystery plot is loosely based on some facts of White Star Line at the time and its revelation (here) is audacious and a bit shocking. You are included in this tale and after the ship strikes its iceberg, the 1912 alarm keeps sounding as the need to get yourself into a lifeboat increases. WoW! (I hope I have not revealed too much but I suspect anyone reading this knows about that iceberg, no?) Anyway, the artwork is excellent, the Palm Court restaurant (and many other venues) give you an idea of how lovely the decor must have been. Sound effects and music are fine; the puzzles are good (and many can be skipped). It's not a complex game and you're always shown which part of the ship to progress to next---so that you don't wander about aimlessly. My one complaint is that there is/was no guide or walkthrough as I really wanted to see the storyline through: but as luck would have it, the only time I was stumped was the five nautical symbols that needed to be placed in a row and I DID find help for this by typing the game name in google. I was so grateful to be able to continue and everything else in the game worked well for me. Note: Although this is possibly a 4-star game, I'm giving it five just to raise the overall ratings which I think is "fairer" for it.
I recommend this game!

I just finished this mystery and liked it very much. Also, I loved the fact that I could click hints when I was stumped and an arrow brought me to where I should get to next, lol I am not a great solver! I gave it five stars for the storyline, the fun spookiness factor, the graphics! I recommend (highly) buying the Collector's Edition because the added bonus chapter brings the mystery to a new level of eerie plot and scenes of the town in Scotland were superb graphics (imo).
