It's been done a hundred times, the "avoiding obstacles while canoeing down a river" thing, and I'm always put off by the "fight your enemy by matching his/her moves" stuff, so this was not a game for me, I didn't even finish the demo. Others, of course, might find this game exactly to their tastes.
Played the demo, enjoyed it, thought I'd buy it, only to find that on hooking the box out of the water and opening it, it was EMPTY!!! Therefore no tusk to hook the cage and release the light emitting jellyfish things to scare off the troll....therefore the game ended right there. Odd that the demo played fine, but the bought game had this glitch, what a waste of money.
Very enjoyable to start with, but by the third chapter or so the devs had forgotten their use of English, as in "There is a fish swimming deep in the water, but the water is too shallow to reach" What? Or you find a wheel for a wagon that you haven't even seen yet, or know for what purpose you need the wagon, but you have the wheel. Yep. Fantastic. The entire story line needs reinventing and bringing together logically, far too much hopping around the place. Can't comment on the sound, as I never have the sound on, otherwise shows promise but needs work.
Hoping to find something interesting and challenging to play given the 5 star rating. We are all different, and like different sorts of games. Found this one boring, far too easy, but try for yourselves.
Whoever said they did the demo in five minutes is either delusional, incredibly talented, or lying. One of the best games I've played in a long time. I never have the sound on, cos I can't listen to TV at the same time if I do, lol, so accents/poor lip synching don't bother me. Yes, lots of toing and froing, but there is the trusty map. Collectibles, morphs, and actually, for once, some puzzles that require thought and logic. Plus, the "continue" button works fast throughout conversations that you just want to skip, some games insist that you read "conversations" at about the rate of an intelligent 5 year old, this game assumes, correctly, that most adults are capable of a reading speed of, on average, 600 words a minute, and doesn't sit there annoyingly doing nothing while you tap your fingers, make a cup of tea, feed the cat, then come back to find the character has just finished his/her second sentence. Play the demo first, by all means, but for an old lady like me it was ideal brain workout. One possible word of warning. Conduit

Yes, plus points, it is a decently long game, and some of the puzzles, while not hard, can present a challenge of sorts. However it seems that later in the game the developers lost interest, for example you have to move the red chip so that it doesn't connect with a blue chip, but there is nothing to tell you where you are supposed to move the red chip to. What is the point of that? Oh well. Play the demo.
When Hector, Demon Hunter for hire, agreed to save a lost tourist from the haunted Museum of Mysticism and Monstrosity, he never imagined that he could be the one in need of saving.
Probably the worst demo I have attempted to play in the last couple of years. No "what am I supposed to be doing here?" instruction in any puzzle, no reset options, nothing, nada, zilch, zero. For example, a lock pick puzzle, but you aren't told what you are supposed to do so you spent your time randomly clicking. That isn't what a good game is about. Tell me what I am supposed to be doing and I will do it, just don't leave me shrugging my shoulders and doing the "Well? What am I supposed to do here? I'm not a mind reader, thing" Boo. Deleted the demo.
Puzzles and games are not very difficult, and the game is fun and interesting. I played the first game (guiding the whatsit into the hole using numbers and arrows easily enough) but then I did as I always do, play again using another name and using the strategy guide to see how good it is. Awful, in this particular case. The guide takes you exactly 13 moves into the puzzle then leaves you stranded. Yes, by all means buy. Great game otherwise.
By the time I had tried to find the vet/hospital/hairdresser by turning left or right or whatever in one of the puzzles, it took so long, and I was so bored I fell asleep. It might be ok if you like tedious puzzles (so called) but certainly not a game to keep you interested and engaged. Each to their own however.
