Rick Rogers (the character you play) was driving on Route 39, heading towards his parent’s house when he encountered a strange hitchhiker on the side of the road. With the goodness of his heart, he picked up the strange girl and promised to drop her off at a nearby mansion. Things took a turn when the girl suddenly disappears and Rick’s car crashed. Now you must explore the creepy mansion and discover the dark truths behind the recent series of disappearances on Route 39. Will you be able to escape this fate or will you die within three days just like everybody else?
Paranormal Files: Fellow Traveler is the latest series from the HOPA veteran, Elephant Games which subsequently is one of my favorite developers. The game starts off with an all too familiar opening sequence, which then leads to a haunted house-themed storyline. While on the surface, the plot of Paranormal Files: Fellow Traveler seems like just another tired attempt at the haunted house theme but the fascinating backstory and the heightened sense of urgency makes this brand-new adventure an unexpectedly entertaining one. Elephant Games is always reliable when it comes to creating just the perfect environment for their games. Impressively, the environment in Paranormal Files: Fellow Traveler is extremely haunting and satisfyingly creepy. This is due to the outstanding visuals and effects, as well as the sinister and bone-chilling background music. The story line really becomes incredibly interesting once you meet Rose Bennett and learn the unusual back story. Rose has some really disturbing secrets to share as you progress beyond "demo play". Gameplay wise, Paranormal Files: Fellow Traveler gives the player a lot to do. Each location is packed with interactive tasks and while they are often fairly straightforward, the back-and-forth navigation amps up the challenge level quite a bit. As for the hidden object scenes and the puzzles, they are well-crafted and nicely varied, with just the right degree of complexity and the way this is integrated into the storyline is extremely clever! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this fascinating new series. Playing on the CUSTOM setting, I finished Paranormal Files: Fellow Traveler in just slightly over four hours and the CE bonus chapter in just 40 minutes. I think Elephant fans are really going to appreciate this new series as much as I did. I can't wait to see what Elephant has in store for the next edition and I highly recommend this jewel of a game to casual players of every level. Cheers!
I recommend this game!

The battle between the Red King and the White Queen has been going on for what feels like forever, and according to an ancient legend, the only one who can stop the White Queen is a woman named Alice. The Red King has been bringing in multiple different Alices from the human world for years, until one day he stumbled upon you. Enter the magical Chessland, where nothing is what it seems, and defeat the White Queen once and for all!!!
Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass is the fifth game in 4 Friends Games’ best-selling fantasy franchise, and this time it centers around the famous tale of Alice in Wonderland. Once again, 4 Friends Games successfully found a way to present a rather tired story in an innovative and exciting way. The stroytelling is definitely top-notch, filled with fresh ideas, fascinating characters, and gripping sequences. Of course, a good storyline would not survive on its own without a solid gameplay. Luckily, Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass is also a perfectly-executed game. Players will appreciate the effort the developers put into bringing each scene to life, having multiple interaction spots, even those that are not involved in task completions. Further more, the hidden object scenes are neatly designed and include some smart twists. On a slightly negative note, the puzzles are often quite standard and the gimmicky Compass fails to generate any excitement or adds any kind of challenge to the game. Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass certainly does not disappoint on the production front. The visuals are absolutely gorgeous, thanks to the intricate artwork, imaginative scene designs, and the lush colors. Similarly, the audio is very impressive too. The background music is just as delightfully magical as the game itself, and the voice-acting is professionally recorded!
Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass is a fast-paced journey that is surprisingly original, unbelievably captivating, and a real feast for the eyes. There was so much stuff happening in Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass that I lost track of time and simply finished the game in one sitting. This is a testament to how incredible and addicting the game is, since its five and half hours length is not at all short. Not only that, but the Collector’s Edition is also packed with extras; a strategy guide, wallpapers, concept art, screensavers, soundtracks, videos, re-playable hidden object scenes, re-playable mini-games, achievements, collectibles, and morphing objects. I'm a huge fan of this fantasy series and I have high hopes for it's continuing success in the next edition as well. Cheers!
Check out these editions too...
•Bridge to Another World: Burnt Dreams
•Bridge to Another World: The Others
•Bridge to Another World: Alice in Shadowland
•Bridge to Another World: Escape From Oz
•Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass
I recommend this game!

This is the 3rd installment of Madhead's series Dawn Of Hope. The Frozen Soul is a Sci-Fi action game which utilizes certain aspects of previous editions to create a new and unique post apocalyptic adventure! Your journey begins in the Sprite village, home to both humans and elves living together in harmony. You play the role of Tara, a brave survivor of a ruined world and apprentice to Mr. Hett; a teacher and elder of the Sprite community. Hett tells Tara the fascinating historical story of an organization called "The Society". Agents of the Society rule from the skies with their supernatural ability to control lightning and use it to reek havoc on the citizens of Sprite, a tactic used centuries ago in ancient times which caused the apocalypse. During those ancient times The Elves of old arrived in a beam of light and used their fae spells to restore life to the land. Trees re-grew and rivers flowed once again. The Agents of Society came and used their power and technology of the ancients to defeat the Elven leaders. They locked away all traces of the Elves of old in Mount Nucleus. Tara must now make her way with her Elven friend Lennart to Mount Nucleus for help. With some assistance from Lennart using his elven healing powers and a device that has the ability to melt and freeze inventory items your ready for the quest... or are you? When both of you arrive at Mount Nucleus you encounter a sinister Elven Queen. Her name is Alyssandra and she is out for VENGENCE! Fate ultimately lies in the hands of Tara and Lennart but the help they seek at Mount Nucleus will be a dexterous task with the discovery of Alyssandra...
I have always loved this series and this edition has a multitude of arduous tasks to offer. The story is engaging, the graphics and special effects are beautifully executed and it is definitely a rather lengthy HOPA. It took me over 5 hours to complete this excellent adventure. I remember playing Dawn of Hope: Daughter of Thunder where one of the main character's special abilities was using electricity to control lightning! I thought this edition was just as electrifying. Cheers!
I also recommend the previous installments:
•Dawn of Hope: Daughter of Thunder
•Dawn of Hope: Skyline Adventure
I recommend this game!

The Secret Order is undoubtedly a Fan Favorite and the fact that "Shadow Breach" is the 8th addition to the series is proof. In the last episode (Bloodline) Sarah Pennington had just defeated the Dragon Clan for the Flower of Life and saved her mother. Now in her new home she receives a distress call from Alex (also a member of the Secret Order) who informs her of an ancient almanac currently in the hands of Maggie Cook. Maggie's research at the Secret Order lab has revealed the history of the almanac and the purpose for it's creation. The almanac was used to magically encapsulate a villainous entity named Odessa who is full of wrath and capable of possessing a human body if she is released. Alex warns Sarah that should Odessa ever break free from the almanac (which she does) it would unleash chaos and destruction not only for The Secret Order but all of humanity. Sarah, now armed with a bracelet of fire must locate 7 magical relics that were originally used against Odessa and destroy them. It's a race against the clock to see if Sarah can accomplish this task before Odessa does and save Maggie...Will Sarah defeat Odessa in time? You'll have to complete the (4 hour) main game and the (1 hour) bonus game to find out. I chose the CE version because of the extra bonus game but in retrospect I would have enjoyed the Standard Edition just as much.
This edition has a great storyline but the use of the "Bracelet of Fire" isn't an original concept. The production value is less than impressive with the over use of cool tones though colorful as you progress into the second half of the adventure. So, I give this edition a four star rating. Shadow Breach isn't my favorite game in the series but it does have it's moments. The HOP's are great because they are interactive. I hope the next edition is executed with a higher production standard and more challenging puzzles. I will always love this series and I recommend that you use a free game coupon for this one. Cheers!
Also in the SECRET ORDER SERIES:
•The Secret Order: New Horizon
•The Secret Order: Masked Intent
•The Secret Order: Ancient Times
•The Secret Order: Beyond Time
•The Secret Order: The Buried Kingdom
•The Secret Order: Bloodline
•The Secret Order: Shadow Breach

The story begins in the peaceful realm of the Fire Kingdom were King Wirth and Queen Gloria reigned for a long time until a tragedy struck and Queen Gloria died right after she gave birth to the twins. One of the twins was born with a curse mark near her heart and was sent by the King to imprisonment in fear of bad fortune. The other half of the twins, Princess Fara, was sent a monastery with her nanny. Now that Princess Fara has finally woken up and the Great Flame that fuels the kingdom is nearly out, you must now find your long-lost twin sister, save the King Wirth from his descendant to insanity, and save the kingdom...
Spirits of Mystery: The Last Fire Queen starts off with a fascinating storyline that is unusually complex for this long-standing HOPA series. Unfortunately, this edition's storyline isn't executed well and somewhat illogical. In my opinion none of the characters in The Last Fire Queen develops enough backstory to establishes any connection with the player. The result is a plot which feels too complex to keep you engaged in the game after about 20 minute mark. I would like to point out that it does get more engaging after you have completed the "demo" and progress on into the game. On the gameplay side, Spirits of Mystery: The Last Fire Queen did not impress like the previous installments of this series. The adventure aspect of the game is pretty much by-the-book, the hidden object scenes are basic and the puzzles are ones you have probably played countless times before. I do appreciate the difficulty selection for the puzzles, although the “Hard” mode usually only increases the tediousness of the puzzles. One redeeming quality in this lackluster game, is the graphics. Spirits of Mystery: The Last Fire Queen showcases some of AMAX Interactive’s best visuals. The fuzzy quality that usually presents in this developer’s previous works was replaced by much sharper, higher-quality graphics. The animations, along with the special effects are also extremely well-done and always give the player something eye-catching to look at. I have noticed a change in the development of all their releases since ERS changed their name to Amax Interactive in 2017 and not to the game company's benefit either. I miss the SHOCK VALUE (which never offended me) and "bizarre twists" that were ever present in this series as well as other games by the former ERS. I was able to complete Spirits of Mystery: The Last Fire Queen in four hours and the bonus chapter in an hour. I love this series and if there is another release I hope it will be more like the releases that launched before 2017. Cheers!

This sequel to The Forgotten Fairy Tales: The Spectra World was somewhat childish and too simple to be taken seriously by most experienced casual gamers. I thought the first installment of this series showed great potential but Canvases of Time could have had a more interesting storyline and more innovative puzzles and HOS. This edition involves The Queen of Creation who has created the universe on the Canvases of Eternity, but what will happen when the Shadows of Oblivion come in and destroy the canvases? As the powerful Guardian with magical gifts, can you race across time and restore the canvases before the universe crumbles? Elefun Games in my opinion have a line of promising series but there is nothing remotely exciting about the storyline in The Forgotten Fairy Tales: Canvases of Time as it is essentially just a typical and ordinary fantasy story. It is also so undistinctive that I feel like it could fit any other HOPA series developed by Elefun. The gameplay in The Forgotten Fairy Tales: Canvases of Time is as basic as can be, to the point that it could actually be mistaken as a children’s game. The adventure part of the game presents no depth and complexity, the mini-games are super easy, and the hidden object scenes are all single-layered and insultingly simple. As if to try to spice things up, Elefun included two extra features in the game – a magical bracelet and the Lamp of Life. Unfortunately, both of these features fall flat and fail to add any redeeming qualities to the game which is unfortunate. One redeeming quality about this edition is it's "fun factor". The Forgotten Fairy Tales: Canvases of Time is at least very pretty to look at. The imaginative artwork and extravagant visual effects are effective in creating a fairytale-like experience. In addition, the stellar voice-acting and background music are equally impressive. I decided a four star rating was appropriate because I know Elefun developer's have the creative ability to make this series more challenging and adventuresome. I'm very interested to see them raise the bar with the next installment because I love Elefun games.
The Forgotten Fairy Tales: Canvases of Time is a lengthy game which took me approximately four and a half hour to complete, with the bonus chapter clocking in at the 45-minute mark. The bonus section of the Collector’s Edition features mediocre CE bling; a strategy guide, wallpapers, screensavers, concept art, soundtracks, achievements, and collectibles. I hope the next edition is executed with more quality like the original and I look forward to how this series plans on keeping it's fans engaged. Cheers!
I recommend both games in this series:
•The Forgotten Fairy Tales: The Spectra World
•The Forgotten Fairy Tales: Canvases of Time
I recommend this game!

Wow! I thought Fright Chasers: Forced Exposure was exceptional and this next chapter of Fright Chasers is an awesome sequel for fans of this popular series. The investigation begins when you receive information in an email concerning several people in the town of Glenville who have been reported murdered by someone or something that uses a supernatural medallion which burns victims to pure ash. Get on your Harley and travel to Glenville and don't forget your Paranormal Camera that reveals ghostly clues because your going to need it for this fast paced mystery adventure. As you proceed in your investigation you encounter a woman named Joanna who eventually shares some disturbing facts in a newspaper article about a train accident which took place in 1899 that reportedly claimed the lives of five people. The encounter with Joanna is brief and leaves you not only suspicious of Joanna but curious to reveal several unanswered questions regarding the accident. You soon realize that Joanna and the other four characters central to your investigation didn't die in the train accident. But how can they be alive after more than a hundred years later, are they immortal? The only person who can provide answers is the crow masked protagonist known as the Soul Reaper. After more intense research you learn that the Soul Reaper is your number one suspect in the Glenville murders and the targets are the five individuals who were aboard the train crash of 1899. Is it possible that one of these five people could be the Soul Reaper? Perhaps....but what is the motive for killing them? Travel back in time to 1899 and board the train to question these five passengers and return to the present day hopefully with the answers you need to figure out what caused this intriguing mystery in order to solve the case!
This is a fascinating and frightening mystery that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire 5 hours of the main game and another hour for the bonus game. It has incredible twists and subplots that will surprise even the most seasoned sleuths! I was buried alive in a coffin, knocked out cold, and even kidnapped during the course of this thriller. It's truly an epic experience and just when you think you absolutely know who the actual protagonist is, your shocked to find out that you have been wrong all along....
I highly recommend this installment of Fright Chasers and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Worthy of Editor Choice award and five stars. Cheers!

This is the 8th installment of the Domini games series that takes you on another adventure playing the role of a "seeker" traveling to other worlds to battle unearthly evil. You play the role of Tritta and with all your success in the previous editions of the series it's time to embark on another phenomenal journey with your sister Margaret. In the last chapter of this series Margaret had proven herself worthy and is also a "seeker" just like you. Well, almost like you...she doesn't have the experience or level of "seeker skills" that you have which makes her vulnerable. This was obvious in the last quest during your expedition to Devils Tower in 2017.
This latest adventure begins when both you and your sister arrive in Great Britain where the last edition of a unique book called "The Gates" (made from skins and spikes of an animal) is on exhibit at the British Library. In the British Library you and Margaret discover that Nigel Waterson (the librarian) mysteriously disappeared after touching the cursed book in 2004. It seems that all collector's who owned a copy of "The Gates" have all disappeared without a trace. Margaret is skeptical and believes the book is harmless and without hesitation she opens the book and cuts her finger, spilling a drop of blood on it. Immediately she is transported into another world. The Gates book only requires a drop of blood to gain access to three distinct worlds.
•The World of Order which is mythical, sunny, and harmonious.
•The World of Chaos which is fiery, destructive and full of demons.
•The World of Arena which is a link between the other two worlds. A realm were warriors fight to determine who's the strongest in a fatal battle.
You must now use a drop of your own blood on "The Gates" so that you can follow Margaret into the portal. Nigel the librarian has left clues for you in the first world to help you throughout your journey which are exceptionally useful when you encounter Aspir. Aspir is a powerful, villainous necromancer from the World of Chaos who has captured Margaret. Aspir desires power over the three worlds and all worlds in the universe but in order to gain this ominous power he needs Margaret's soul and YOURS! Will you be able to stop this menacing mad man from world domination and save your sister from a perilous demise? Find out how in this extraordinary continuation of the Labyrinths of the World saga! Kudos to Brave Giant and Big Fish for another thrilling adventure in this fan favorite series. This Editors choice edition wins major points with me for its interesting story, like the previous editions. The puzzles and mini-games reach out and grab you from the start, saving an otherwise ordinary hidden object game from the dustbin. The main game takes about 5 hours to complete and another hour and a half for the bonus chapter.Other reviewers include CE bling so no need to revisit that. I do have to give this the 5 star rating because Domini games held their own with the continuation of this wonderful series. I generally do not like to review an entire game based solely on demo, I played this jewel in it's entirety. I love the series and look forward to more releases. Cheers!
I recommend all the releases in this series:
•Labyrinths of the World: Shattered Soul (2014)
•Labyrinths of the World: Forbidden Muse (2015)
•Labyrinths of the World: Changing the Past (2016)
•Labyrinths of the World: Stonehenge (2016)

•Labyrinths of the World: The Devils Tower (2017)
•Labyrinths of the World: A Dangerous Game (2017)

This is Brave Giant's fourth installment in the Queens Quest Saga and developers have created a spellbinding adventure with a unique story twist. I've played a lot of different characters in a lot of different games. I have been thrown into the role of just about every kind of Detective imaginable and Scientist, Hero/Heroin, and the list goes on. Now playing the role of Peacekeeper in Sacred Truce you must embark on a journey once again into the five realms. Your quest begins by travelling to Saddletown to find the magical "Sacred Truce". War has erupted between the Elves and Humans when you learn that the Elven King has been attacked and possibly killed...and the hostile Elves believe a Human is responsible. The Druid of the five realms created the Sacred Truce to ensure peace among the Elves, Goblins, Dwarves, and Humans but now the Sacred Truce is missing and it's up to you to locate it. After you arrive in Saddletown you soon discover that the Elves have issued a $5000.00 reward for anyone who can capture Rosa Mozak "the betrayer" dead or alive. Is it possible that Rosa is the betrayer who stole the Sacred Truce or is there more information to this accusation? You'll soon find out as your investigative journey takes you deeper into the magical five realms! Queens Quest IV is a casual adventure game that takes place in the most prestigious of fantasy realms. Your time in Sacred Truce will be split between exploration centric adventure scenes and some nice hidden object diversions. You’ll get a surprising amount of freedom to roam back and forth, searching for items that can be used to open doors or remove other obstacles standing in your way. Many of these items are interactive, meaning you’ll need to click and tinker with them to find out their true nature, occasionally even using other inventory items on them. Hidden object scenes come at a fast pace, which isn’t such a bad thing since they’re quite entertaining to solve. Most of them stick to the standard text list format with one or two interactive items marked in a darker color. Just search, click and collect, you know the drill! Mini-games manage to be equal to the hidden object scenes with a glorious array of variety. Sacred Truce doesn’t take a lot of newly innovative chances with its design or gameplay content. It wins major points with me for its interesting story, like the previous editions. The puzzles and mini-games reach out and grab you from the start, saving an otherwise ordinary hidden object game from the dustbin. Other reviewers include CE bling so no need to revisit that. I do have to give this the 5 star rating because Brave Giant held their own with the continuation of this wonderful series. I generally do not like to review an entire game based solely on demo, I played this jewel in it's entirety. I love the series and look forward to more releases. Cheers!
I recommend this game!
