Lot of work went into this game. Although I recognize the work I remained not pleased.
I did not like the changes to weird space in between worlds.
The load times were annoying.
I am not a fan of political correctness so punching out some character in real life situations ok but the many fights and avoiding obstacles while driving was b-o-r-ing.
When I find myself taking hints and skips to just get it over with that means I'm not entertained nor drawn into the game.
I try to not knock games lightly. This game however deserved my ere.
I think I would recommend to each make up your own mind/
You know why it was a great game? Story was good. There were no dragons or other 'weird' mythical creatures. Sure there was the Banshee folk lore character but this added to the overall story and the Irish characters and lore.
While this game is old style in its functions I found that challenging since I am now trained to the newer games. I also enjoyed the story and the story could be revisited in the notebook.
I think that the game is worth playing so with that thought and the story line I gave it 4 star.
Newer games, at least many now, are more easy play for they make it so obvious where objects found are to be used this game required you to hunt and in many cases try a solution found object. Not bad -- just a tad more challenging don't you think?
The main reasons I enjoyed this game was the creative license that ended with a good story. The other reason I enjoyed was it was a game of well intrigue and vengeance that seem present in human nature.
I liked the game because it was not centered around some weird monster type creature but the warped personality was a human character.
