I enjoy mosaics galore except for one issue. The allotted time to complete a puzzle is unrealistic. I have done many, many mosaic puzzles so I speak from experience. I simply ignore the time limit and just try to complete without mistakes but it would be more fun if I felt I could actually complete the puzzle without mistakes and do it in the allotted time.
The puzzles are relatively easy. The contrast between marked numbers and dead squares is very light and can be hard to see. The storyline, such as it is, comes along once in every 20 puzzles. That's all there is to the game. It could be greatly improved.
It's a fun game but it is a lot harder, and therefore more frustrating, than it would seem. Some rounds have taken me 20 min. ( hint- play untimed) . I do very much like the hidden object levels and the rebuilding of temples. If you are seriously into playing and don't mind putting in some time to solve a level you will enjoy this. If you are just looking for relaxing fun this may not be the game for you.
The basic gameplay was nice. You can choose between 3 different styles of gameplay at any time. What this game was missing is the Wow factor. It would have been so much better if there were a simple hidden object round as the fourth level in which you found and put together pieces of each rune. It was simply the same rounds on every level. Got a bit dull.
I love the Mystika series. The best thing is the creators listen to reviewers and so every game improves on the last. It's so great. You battle dragons, free luminos, dig for hidden statues all while earning coins to buy new buildings. There are even hidden object scenes with every major battle for an egg. This game has it all. All 200 levels are fun to play.
Am glad I got this a free game- would hate to have bought it. I gave up at level 17. Birds hatch way to fast through all the levels but 17 was about impossible. I rarely give up on a game but this is just way to frustrating- not fun when the challenge is this difficult.
The first time I paly a solitaire game I just get a feel for it and learn which power ups are useful. So here are my tips....first of all save up and buy the sword for 3500, then buy the broadsword for 3000. As needed buy the potion but usually you can win without it. I achieved 114 perfect rounds the second time I played using only those power-ups. There are only 150 rounds .
I have a lot of the Casual Arts games for my grandkids to play. This one was a flop. The scenes are too busy- the objects to be found are tiny. ( They might want to incorporate a zoom feature ) . The puzzles were easy for the youngest-boring for the oldest. Overall I think this is the absolute worst of their games.
A lot of people have complained, and rightly so, that they have the required number of stars to advance and yet cannot do so. I tried the game three times. The third time through I was determined. So I got three stars on every level. Yes, I had to play some levels more than once. But I noticed I could amass quite a lot of coins by replaying levels. Which bought me wild cards. I beat the game finally with three stars on every level. Yes, it is a challenge but I like a challenge. So if you want to play the game get three stars on every level or replay that level. It can be won just takes time and effort.
This game requires little or no thought or plotting on how to get from one level to the other. The story line? What can I say except there is no storm. But the gameplay was good. Very relaxing game. here is a hint- only buy lightening and magnet power-ups. Lots of lightening not so much on the magnets- you will never need more than one per level. Clear those pesky leftover cards with your lightening. If you do that you can get 3 stars are nearly every level which amasses more gold to buy more lightening. You will have way more gold than you need if you only buy lightening and magnets.
