First off let me say I never review a games based on only the one hour free play. That is kind of bogus. So my reviews are based on a minimum of three hours play. This game is unusual, fun, more difficult than it looks at first play and totally worth the money spent to own it.
The story was at best so-so. The author could not seem to determine if poetry or short story. But the game was very fun and I loved it had two game plays. After finishing matched it also had 13's.
I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed Dragon Scales 1 when this came out. It is even better because it does have some mini games in between levels. It is not a super easy game but it is winnable. Took me 28 hrs. 27 min. 56 sec to beat it and I enjoyed every second of it. Hint- if you get stuck on 3-12 go to the forums. Then it is obvious. Thank you to those who wrote into the forums.
The game is good but it is lacking things needed to make it great. First of all there are no power-ups. Worst of all you cannot use your points to buy free cards. Also it is strictly solitaire with no mini games. Gets a bit boring with hand after hand of the same old thing. Instead of this try Avalon 2 or magic cards solitaire.
As usual fantasy mosaics is great fun. I really enjoyed that the room being built was not random like so many of the gardens. This is the only game I always buy without previewing. I own all 13 and will continue to collect them as they come out.
It's a fun game. But a couple things I really dislike. There is no undo button and it is hard to get enough gold to do anything but buy wild cards. There are a lot of nice things that would be helpful in the 'store' but never enough gold to get them. The creators really need to make those items more easily acquired. And there are no do overs unless maybe there is a spell in the store which you can't afford because you are buying wild cards so you can win the level. There are better solitaire games out there.
