Overall it was a nice game to play. The length of it was long enough and the storyline was good. Playing 3 different characters was quite cool and different. The graphics were okay. I think after playing the game "Kings Heir Rise to the Throne" most games won't have the same appealing quality of graphics as that game did. The HOS were nice, the puzzles challenging.
I found that this game did have a lot of lag to load scenes, etc, which became obnoxious. I restarted the game to no effect and even turned off the graphics, still did not help.
Overall it was a fun game to pass time, definitely not my favorite though. The CE version is worth it as the bonus game is a long one.
The most STUNNING graphics I have ever seen in a HO game.

This game was outstandingly beautiful. The graphics were done with accuracy and had such beautiful style. You can tell they took a long time just on the graphics alone. Every little grain, pebble, every leaf, even the wood had all the normal cuts and flaws and absolute beauty to them. If you take the time to just look and stare at the scenery you'd see they did a fantastic job designing this game. I wish they would make more games like this one. The accents were fabulous. I loved them.
Now aside from that wonderful feature, the gameplay was fun. Just enough HOS and Puzzles and fighting scenes. My only complaint is the length of the game. It was too short for an CE. The main game and bonus chapter took less than 3 hours, which was sad, because they storyline was brilliant. They could've expanded it for a bit longer. I think they instead spent all their time designing a beautiful scenery instead.
Well worth playing, I'd recommend just getting the SE though as the bonus chapter is short and can be done in less than 20 minutes.
I thoroughly enjoyed the game and the storyline, but there weren't many bonuses to the CE version and the bonus chapter was quite short, 20 minute play if that. Could've delved deeper into the ending of the main story and what exactly happened to the girl...
Don't waste the cash on the CE version, just get the SE version. Overall a good game, just not CE worthy by a longshot.

Great game. Length of it was decent, the HOS were really fun, some of the puzzles were challenging. The rite of Passage storylines are so sad. :-( Worth the sale price. Now off to the next Rite of Passage game. Enjoy!
I liked this game way more than The Perfect Show. This time we get a map we can teleport with. The story is sad, yet good. Gameplay was good. Except:
DURING THE TWO PUZZLES WHERE YOU HAVE TO USE THE MAP TO GET THROUGH THE FOREST IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME SO I HAD TO SKIP BOTH PUZZLES. Which upset me, but other than that no complaints about the game.
Game was a decent length game, roughly 5 hours to complete. I don't know what was up with the numbers on peoples houses that they said were collectibles when they weren't nor the 5 fruit?!?
I know many complained about the storyline of kidnapped children and I felt the same way, but tbh, nothing horrendous happened to them. The storyline was just 'meh.' The game was really long with NO map that made it painstakingly boring and annoying. The hint took long to recharge even on normal. There were way too many HOS for my liking and many items were difficult to find. I'm giving it a 3 simply because it was an okay game and the length of it made it worth the sale price.
I absolutely loved this game. Everything about it was good. The storyline was excellent, the HOS were perfect, the puzzles were not too easy and not too hard which was good for me. The length of the game was good for an SE. The fact you had collectibles was great and made the game even better. I totally recommend this game. I got it using a free card, but I would totally dish out the cash for it. Very well done game. Loved every minute of it.
Only thing is you can not change the cursor and it is big. After about 30 minutes though I became use to it and didn't notice it, so no big deal. I generally change the cursor to a smaller one anyways. Also, why does the main character who is supposed to be a girl look like a boy? Weird.
Totally recommend this game! Just wish there was a sequel. You won't regret getting this game.
Was a good game, got kind of bored towards the end.

The game itself was good, but very silent. No voiceovers. The puzzles and HOS were excellent. The story itself was great, but...
***SPOILER*** I did not like the ending as there is no sequel to this, left with whodunit. ***SPOILER ENDED***
I did start getting bored towards the end, probably because the game was too quiet and seemed to be repetitive, save everyone for hours on end. The graphics weren't fantastic. The first hour or so there were some things said (no voice) that were amusing and made me chuckle. I got this game for free and well worth it.
Maybe its just me but I dislike games that make me ask more questions at the end than having answers especially when there isn't a sequel to finish the story.
The ending I rate a 1. The full story up until the ending plus gameplay I rate a 5. The length of the game for a SE is fantastic so I rate that a 5.
I guess the game is worth it on sale or for free. Up to you though, it is lengthy and fun.
Beward of this game. Had a lot of bad qualities but some good ones.

Let's start off by saying in the beginning this was one of the most frustrating games I have ever played. Towards the beginning I used the hint button for it to tell me to "get the doorknob in the hallway." I spent 10 minutes clicking everywhere, even on the doorknob, to find it to no avail. So then I had to look up a strategy guide to only realize I needed to do countless other things in other areas before I could even get the doorknob. That, then, told me this game was going to be very tedious, annoying and difficult. So let us go over the pros and cons.
Pros: -The storyline was fabulous. Loved it and it was the only reason I continued this game. It made me want to continue, even passed my "bedtime."
Cons: -Hint button doesn't really help, except for HOS. It will tell you what you need to do even though you don't even have the items to do the task yet. -Graphics were horrendous, very old graphics. This doesn't really bother me so much. -Map does not allow you to teleport so tons and I mean tons of backtracking. -Puzzles were okay, some way too obnoxious so I skipped them. -HOS some items were difficult to find and teeny tiny mixed in with hundreds or objects that were useless and over cluttered. Had to use the hint in half the HOS. -Way, way, way too many HOS for my liking. You backtrack and every room you backtrack in bam there's a HOS. Annoying. -The mouse key hardly worked. You want to backtrack and have to move the mouse over the bottom of the screen for a few seconds for it to pop up.
So, yea, as you can see a lot of downsides to this game BUT the storyline made it worth playing IF you use a free card for the game. If I spent money on this game I would've been upset.
I neither recommend nor not recommend it because people have different tastes. It was challenging to have to figure out what to do and the story was great but in the end...do you want to do tons of HOS and figure out everything without help? Up to you, if you want to try it I would recommend using a free game card. Enjoy.
