The storyline was great. The puzzles and HOS were fun and there weren't too many so it made the game even better, imo. It was a cute little game, if it was a CE version I would have given 2 stars as the length of it, on normal, wasn't long enough for a CE, but since it was an SE version and I got it for free it was wonderful and well worth using a free game token. Took around 3 hours to finish give or take. I didn't time myself and kept getting up to do dinner, etc. Give it a try, I doubt you will regret it.
I recommend this game!

The game was overall decent. Storyline was great and we got a bonus chapter in an SE version which was awesome. The puzzles and hidden object scenes were easy. Not my favorite game, but I got it using a free card so no biggy. Worth the buy on sale or for free. Many of the hidden object scenes repeat themselves, and there are a lot of them. Bit more than my liking to be honest.
Is it just me or is it the same lady doing the voice over for the main character in like every HO game? I swear it is the same voice. She is a very busy lady doing so many investigations! Gees where does she get the time?

I do kind of wish though, that in some games the ending has the bad side win, gets quite repetitive to always have the good guys win, and boring.
I recommend this game!
Ghosts, necromancers and dangerous man-eating wolves lie in wait on the Forsaken Isle. Will you still go and save Lady Annabel?

This game had a lot of potential to be much much longer. Literally finished it in less than 2 hours, but the graphics, storyline, hidden objects, puzzles and collectibles made the game so enjoyable. Purchase with a free card if you can. I personally wouldn't spend money on such a short game, despite it being quite good. Up to you though.
I recommend this game!
You are sent to a remote island to solve a simple case that quickly turns into a cat and mouse game between you and the culprits.

Great game. The HOS and Puzzles were fun and not too difficult. The storyline was great and kept me on my toes. Your partner basically does nothing but tells you what to do while he stands there with his finger up his, umm, reading stuff, hehe, so you get to do everything. Wonderful game. I got the SE version of this game with free credit. I didn't bother with the CE version as some of the reviews seemed disappointing, but I can't find any faults worth mentioning about this game so choose which you would like. Maybe if it lasted an hour longer? It was free, it killed time and was a terrific game to play.
I recommend this game!

The game was quick and simple. It was beautiful and short. The hidden objects and puzzles weren't too difficult, may be difficult for kids though. The game is more suitable for kids, in my opinion, than adults. Passed a couple of hours, not thrilling. Took less than 2 hours to complete. Got it for free, so no big deal.
Crack codes, pick locks, comb crime scenes for clues and solve clever puzzles in this thrilling retro detective drama!

I liked this game. The graphics aren't great, more like old fashioned video games but the storyline and fun factor makes up for it. The HOS and Puzzles weren't difficult, but it was a nice change for once. Something relaxing and easy to pass time. I like that you can travel using the map. If you're extremely terrified of snakes this isn't the game for you. I like snakes so that aspect didn't bother me. It reminded me of all the movies from the 80's early 90's about aliens taking over peoples bodies and such. The main character did say some amusing things at times that gave me a chuckle. Overall it was a nice little game that I got using a free card. I don't regret it.

Luckily I used my free card to get this game. Had I known you could not travel using the map I would not have wasted my money on it. Drove me insane having to walk back 5+ rooms, up and down elevators, to do one thing and back and forth and repeat. The story was fantastic though, puzzles and Hidden object games were decent as well, but I would have saved myself a good hour or so if I could travel using the map!
If you don't mind the continuous back and forth then grab this game as I do think it is a decent game overall.
Investigate the secrets hidden in the shadows of the throne!

Must say this game was fun. It was slightly short but since I got it for free no big deal. Well worth using a free card for it. Good graphics, nice storyline the ending shocked me a bit, didn't see that being the reason for all the hoopla. Nice puzzles and HOPs. Cute cat with horns, lol.
I recommend this game!

I liked this game, although it was a tad bit short. Probably finished it in 3 hours including the bonus chapter which was very short. Love that an SE game had collectibles. The puzzles weren't too difficult. The HOPs were awesome. They incorporated objects hidden behind or inside other objects or the object needed to be found would morph which I found fun! Definitely different than other games of this genre. Definitely worth getting if you have a free game pass.
Btw, the queen never looks happy... Odd tbh.

Okay, so I love the Lost Lands series, but this one seems out of place. Including Susan's son made the game obnoxious. He is a brat, literally obnoxious and irritating. Why did they have to incorporate him into the game? A lot of moaning and whining between mom and son that really had no place in this game. Also why did Susan leave her glasses behind? She can all of a sudden see now? Magically? (I wear glasses, so if it is some magic ability to be able to see without lenses or glasses and not involving surgery please let me know!) I like Susan's hair in this one better than her hair in Mistakes of the Past, which looked ridiculous. Tbh, should have left her hair long. Also what is with the hand movements when they talk? So weird.
Other than those complaints the game was decent. Puzzles were somewhat difficult and they made the HOPs different than before which were a bit frustrating. The storyline was okay, minus the whiny mom and son parts. I really prefer the older games in this series, they had more oomph and character and better storylines but I would suggest just playing this one on sale or for free just to complete the series. I do hope they don't continue using the son in the series and no more whiny stuff please. Go back to the older games please.
