I found this to be a fine game to play over the span of many days. It's the kind of game that's enjoyable to play an hour at a time, at the end of a long day. You could even play it along side of other games, then return to this one without losing the plot. Outdoors and nature feature a lot. The game has about 10 HOPS, a mix of puzzles, and all the modern features of a current game. Nice, warm and summery in many places.
I recommend this game!

Beautiful, lovely and bittersweet. When it comes to decoration and ornamentation, this game is a feast for the senses. Wherever you go, you are accompanied by the wonderful echoes, splashes, waves and droplets of water. This brightly colored and richly-detailed game is absolutely heavenly (especially because I'm playing this in the doldrums of winter !).
8-10 HOPS, which are fragmented and offer more gorgeous ornamentation. The puzzles are interesting, and on top of that, there is an ongoing mini-game to convert a screen of symbols into one type. Sounds great and looks great. Music is on a totally separate control - which is always a plus.
I think there are a couple of reasons I am now bowled over by this game, but wasn't so when this game was first released: 1) I was comparing it to much to the earlier stylistic look of the Dark Parable games and 2) perhaps it is because I have a better computer now (?). Either way, I now love this game!
I recommend this game!

The Terracota Army are on the move. Watch out for the dragons too! Relaxing scenes with water and trees and rocks...Infact there is LOTS of water: waterfalls, pools, and ponds. Also mountains! Scenes have an open and beautiful feel to them. Since we're in rural China, there's tons of Chinese craftmanship all over the place, buildings, dwellings,
gardens and ornaments. Playing this in the middle of winter, suddenly I have sun and flowers, and birds singing again. Ahhhh...! Later there's some lava and volcanic activity too.
12-15 HOPS, all lovely to look at, and a mix of puzzles. Great sounds & great graphics (music has a separate control).
I recommend this game!

If you're in the mood to play a fairy tale type game - then this game has gorgeous graphics and an interesting story line. There's lots of evening sunshine and nature in the summer. You also get pools, rocks, overgrown gardens, village and castle. As I said, Very fairy-tale orientated story. The only thing that I thought was a bit gruesome/weird was the blood-drop hungry casket. I also found environmental sounds lacking - I think that even with a great soundtrack, there still have to be sounds like fires, water, things opening and closing, the wind etc, because some people prefer that (like me!) 75% of the time.
At least 10-12 HOPS and a number of easy puzzles. You can skip the dialogue in a lot of the scenes but not all. I found the dialogue a bit slow and too deliberate at times, and muted the voices for the most part.
A great game to play in the middle of winter!
I recommend this game!

Sci-fi, AI, robots, creatures, science equipment, gadgets... Immersive story, top quality, clear graphics, and heavenly music! The characters are serious and believable. The start seems more like any other game, but once you get past that first intro and then the next chapter, it all changes. Also, very interesting puzzles! There's a handful of HOPS. It's a good length game. I didn't want this game to end! Thank you :)
I almost didn't play this game after an initial trial, thinking it was going to be all fantasy. But after reading other reviews, I realized I might miss out if I didn't persist. Glad I did!
I recommend this game!

I liked the depth of the scenes in the city. The train and club scenes were good too! The graphics and details included were superb. Somehow, this story kept me involved to begin with and for some time afterwards. I liked everything about it. The shady characters/gangsters were done well, and gave off an aura of fearlessness and coolness - there was nothing crude or comedic about them (which was great!). Great sounds throughout too! However, the unique feel slowly ebbs away and by the time there was only a 1/3 left I was eager for the end. For puzzle fans - a lot of the puzzles are not easy/medium; for me they were tough!
HOPS – 10- 12- There were at least 3 HOPS which were cakes, n other food stuffs. Love them! Why? I don't know! Just looks good enough to...eat!!! They also go the tools route. I did take a look at the alternative match-3 game, and decided the HOPS was the more fun one.
PUZZLES: Many are not easy! All skippable.
SOUNDS - with 4 adjustments. Music is suitable and totally separate.
MAP: TRAVEL
JOURNAL: NONE. BUT you get other stuff.
DIFFICULTY SETTINGS - 4 interchangeable
HINT: Guides and leads you.
INVENTORY - lockable
CHARACTERS: The characters look almost like real people, and are done well!
I recommend this game!

Whodunnit. Starts off ok, but didn't really get into it until about half way. This game gets better the more you play it. The graphics in this particular game lack something. It's like a lot of the scenes have the stuff there, it's just not finished very well. I enjoyed playing the Bubble Shooter for a change, as an alternative to the HOPS. The HOPS I did play were ok, there must have been around 10.

Zipping around from land to submarine you are investigating the mystery of the Disquis spheres. Enjoy the sun and waves and warm character of Costa Rica. Excellent graphics and sound. The characters are believable and varied. The game builds to a resounding finish! HOPS about 10-12 - all sorts. Puzzles are mixed and some are tough! Enjoy!

(2017 game) Review based on completed game.
Deeply relaxing game! Concentrates more on the ambiance of nature, woods, clouds birdsong and the mesmerizing sound-effects of water. You get to wander about by yourself in a medieval-type village, church, local manor and of course, forest. Water is everywhere! :) ... In streams, small rivers, and puddles. The lovely sound will accompany you on much of your journey.
The buildings are constructed of stone, and you even get a scenic, stonewall enclosed field . Characters don't feature much but appear occasionally, just to keep the plot evolving. There are many stages to this game, it kept my attention throughout. On top of that, it's a decent length game. (Note: not for you, if you're in the mood to be "Action Hero," because it's not that type of game.)
GRAPHICS: Fullscreen or Widescreen. Modern quality graphics. Natural looking colors.
HOPS - Around 8. Mainly wordlists, with some interaction, also -find the silhouette, and -place the object correctly.
Puzzles: Mixed level. Interesting and enjoyable. Regular mini-games require you to combine signs to eliminate them -gradually get more difficult. All skippable.
SOUNDS - with 4 adjustments. Music is totally separate. Mouse effects and environment sounds are tied together, but the balance is pretty good. Although it would be even better for me, to be able to have these separated, because I'd have the environmental sounds the loudest.
MAP: TRAVEL
JOURNAL: NONE
DIFFICULTY SETTINGS - 4 interchangeable
HINT: Guides and leads you
INVENTORY - Lockable
CHARACTERS: Minimal interaction
I recommend this game!

PLUSES-You have items in your inventory WAY before you have to use them, which makes the game more interesting.
-Many rooms to investigate.
-Real items and furniture figure prominently.
MINUSES - Didn't seem like a very long game.
-Has a slight, but minor stretch on a widescreen computer.
It's a relief to play a game, that seems to be made with a straightforward serious tone instead of having to play a game where you're almost starring "in a movie."
Basically, most of the new games are so bling-bling and so easy, that anything different is often outstanding as far as I am concerned! I always like it when real items figure prominently in graphics, just because I like the way the look. The accents are refreshings. The gentle pace and feel of the game was enjoyable.
GRAPHICS -Full screen fills the entire screen. It develops a mild stretched look, but nothing very noticeable. You also have windowed. Realistic style.
HOPS - 5 straightforward wordlists. About 1 mistranslation per game. Most were like riddles, as in "oh, I can see why might think that was an appropriate word", but one was for "troll," and ended up being a fishing-lure.
PUZZLES: No puzzle-puzzles. Just 2 or 3 easy mini-games.
SOUNDS - Music and Sound. Music is totally separate. Sound carries all the effects and ambience.
MAP: TRAVEL
JOURNAL: ? I saw the notes fly of and go somewhere, so maybe there was one.
DIFFICULTY SETTINGS - 2 NOT interchangeable
HINT: Guides and leads you, but takes longer in Expert. Also sometimes there was no hint at all in Expert (all you got was a reminder to refer
to the map).
INVENTORY - remains visible.
CHARACTERS: Minimal interaction. I liked the accents. No lip-sync.
I recommend this game!
