I really really enjoyed playing this game. The graphics and voice overs were perfect. Mini games and hidden object scenes were fun. My favorite part though is that there was an actually, wonderful storyline. Love, loss and the 5 stages of grief! I purchased the CE which I normally never do but I didn't want to wait a month to play this game. I'm so glad I got the CE as it ties everything up nicely.
I have to say for me so far this is my favorite game of 2016!

This game starts out wonderful with great promise. I enjoyed the demo so much I couldn't wait for this game to be released as a SE (I never waste money on CE's) The day it was released I purchased it immediately! It starts to go down hill not long after the demo part ends. It gets more and more mundane the further you go. The ending was just so anticlimactic and abrupt. I was very disappointed in the game to put it mildly. Nothing major stands out about the game, except I did enjoy the music. The games were just regular nothing really new or exciting. There are far better games you could spend your money on.
I don't recommend this game.
Experience an authentic Slavic legend! Save the creatures from destruction!

I normally Love Artifex Mundi games and I'm Slovak so I thought I would get this game and really enjoy the tale. No not so much. The story was disjointed, so I lost the tale. The graphics were so fantastical in places I couldn't make things out. The game play was all over the place so much so that I had to use the hint button continuously to guide me were to go. I finally just got to the point that I was so bored I just said the heck with it and deleted the game without finishing it. I'm sorry to say I actually really hated the game. Surprising since I just loved all the games in the Grim Legends series and all the games in the Nightmares from the Deep series. I guess we all can't agree and like the same things all of the time. I hope their next game will be better.
I don't recommend this game.

I will write what I wrote to the developers after I played the survey demo." NO, NO, NO! This game is BAD! It's nowhere near the caliber of the former Puppet Show games!"
It's a pity really I've been looking forward to another Puppet Show game, it's one of my favorite series. Puppet Show Mystery of Joyville was one of the first hidden object games I ever played and I loved it! I then played Souls of the Innocent and I loved it too.
I will admit I absolutely loved the Price of Immortality even though it wasn't anywhere near as creepy as the others but it was fun and the graphics were wonderful.This game is just blah! It's easy, too easy and yet it seems to lack good old common sense. I'm assuming since the demo was so short the game itself is going to be very short which is also a big let down. I will probably end up getting the SE edition using a free game or at half price but, that's only because I own them all and I would like to see how the game plays out. Maybe it gets a lot better, but I have my doubts.
For right now, after demo-ing this CE edition of this game I have to give it 2 thumbs down. There are far better games to spend your hard earned money on. Twenty dollars is way to much for this game!! Another thing, I'm baffled by the 4 and 5 star reviews ?? especially since if you read them, the reviewers don't sound all that thrilled with the game yet they give it a 4 or 5??? Sorry but that greatly diminishes the rating system and it hurts the truly great 4 and 5 star games! Just my opinion, I don't mean to offend anyone. Even if this game gets better after the demo the best it can hope for is a 3 star rating. The games and hidden object scenes are just plain simple, and dull. The graphics are good but not outstanding. The game is not creepy or scary. Some of the voice overs especially the woman in the lab are super annoying with an out and out mean nasty tone. In closing I would like to say to ERS developers: After games like Haunted Hotel X, Phantasmat: Behind the Mask and Key to Ravenhearst,& Ravenhearst Unlocked ERS has to really step-up their game!!
Give the demo a try for yourself it's free, and maybe you'll find you like it.

This game was just bad, bad, bad! The game looks like something that was made at least 5 maybe 10 years ago. Graphics were not all that good, clunky controls, hard too see or find anything. I clicked all over the place and didn't find anything, yet I still couldn't leave the room because well I was suppose to find things? It's clearly evident that the game developers do not speak English as a first language. This game should have been edited before it was released. I really disliked the game and gave up after 5 minutes, but hey try the demo for yourself and see what you think. This game might be perfect for someone who likes a real challenge. It's challenging alright, but not in a good way!
I don't recommend this game.

I normally do not leave a review until I've played the whole game but in this case I have no intention of buying this game so I'll leave my review now.
I am so heartbroken over this, I've been so looking forward to another Hidden Expedition game since I've loved them all so much. Hidden Expedition: Smithsonian Castle and the Hope Diamond are still my top all time favorite games.
I really did not like this game for many reasons the most glaring of which is the whole storyline is wrong wrong wrong!
Juan Ponce De Leon looked for the fountain of youth not Magellan! Magellan is most notable for circumnavigating the globe! Have they stopped teaching history in schools? Did the developers do any research before making this game? Obviously not! This is a big deal to me and I'm sure others who study and/or enjoy history! kandinsky's review up above brilliantly states exactly the things I dislike about this game.
I guess I'm going to be in the minority here but outside of the huge historical mistake I really didn't like the game. It was basically the same old same old, pick something up put it here, find a zipper pull or paperclip, this is rusty blah blah.. Not very much creativity nor was it very interesting. I was also a bit put off by the story line when the women somehow manages to take out a full grown man who appears to be a tough former marine with one punch! Please ladies don't try that at home it probably won't end well. As per usual grown men have to be rescued by a women after being capture, yes you guessed it by a women. Really? Am I the only women who's bothered by this constant type of story line?
Everything looked good, I'll give them that, but there was zero creativity in this game. I think they need to team up with the Smithsonian or Big Fish or somebody who can write a compelling story and let Eipix do the graphics!
It was nice looking but maybe just a bit overdone, all the gold and bright yellow was really hard on my peepers and I ended up with a headache.
I'm just really disappointed in the storyline, maybe it gets better after the demo? I know Dawn of Prosperity did so hopefully we will get some reviews from people who have played the whole game. If that's the case I will retry and re-review when the SE edition comes out. I wanted to give it a 1 star for all the reasons stated above and more, but I'll give it 3 stars since I did love all the previous games and I know how much hard work goes into making these games. Storyline is still get an awful rating above. I truly hope it does get better after the demo and it will earn this 3 star rating!

Vampire Legends 2 is based on a true story, obviously the story of Elizabeth Bathory, one of the world's vilest serial killers with a vampire-like character. When it comes to Elizabeth Bathory, I expected a dark and creepy story - and the game did not disappoint. Vampire Legends 2 delivered in terms of intriguing storyline and complex plot; regardless of the complexity, Vampire Legends 2 was easy to follow and never confused me. I was impressed by the fact that each character in the game had its own unique personality,the puzzles while relatively easy had different difficulty options, the music and voice overs were great. I really loved the look of the game the graphics were fantastic. The whole house and the items/furnishings in the house house were lovely. A wonderful spooky game without all the ugly broken furnishings or empty rooms full of bugs. This was perfect to me!
Vampire Legends: The Untold Story of Elizabeth Bathory was not packed with fancy features but still, I was thoroughly entertained playing the game. It might be because the flow of the game was so smooth that I barely noticed the time passing by that to me is the sign of a perfect game!! Apart from the hand-drawn interactive map, custom difficulty mode and a diary - the game contained two other fun and innovative features.1. Psychic Powers to reveal hidden spots and 2. a potion-mixing wagon. You use this quite a bit throughout the game. I just loved making all the potions!

This game is now what 4-5 years old? I enjoyed it a lot more then I've been enjoying many of the newer games with all their fancy gadgets and bright over done color graphics. I had so much fun with this game. I loved the graphics, they were easy on my eyes and I didn't get a migraine playing the game. The music was quite good too.
Despite the shambling subject matter, The Undertaker is light on gore and grossness, but piles on the creepy and surreal. It's an absolutely gorgeous game that's heavy on atmosphere and design, and its bizarre storyline piles on so many twists and turns that it's easy to get wrapped up in it almost immediately. This game makes for a very fun gaming experience. The only down side is, it's a little on the easy side if you like a real challenge this might not be for you but if you like a relaxed fun semi-easy semi spooky game this is for you! I loved it!

Every time I signed off this game and then went to play it again I had to restart the entire game?? I was having fun up until this happened not once but twice! I uninstalled and reinstalled and tried again and the same thing happened. I've since uninstalled it and will never play it again. I just realized that this game came out in 2014? I thought it was a much older game, it looked and felt like a much older game. No I don't recommend it.
I don't recommend this game.

This and Sacra Terra Nova Kiss of death are still some of my Very favorite hidden object adventure games even after all these years. I think they both hold up well even up against many of the newer games. This game was so well done and so much fun. I use to own this game on a compilation of games disc but I gave it away so I repurchased it and Kiss of Death here on Big Fish so I could replay them over, I'm so glad I did. It's just as fun now as it was in 2012! I loved that it had a story and great graphics and fun hogs & mini games. No it doesn't have a custom mode nor does the hint fill in 5 or 10 seconds but it's what made me actually sit and figure out all the puzzles, which I did! It played perfectly on my Windows 7 and my husbands Windows 8 don't know how it will play on Windows 10 I definitely recommend this game.
