I loved this game!! I needed something to make me feel more festive this year since it was so hot here the last few weeks before Christmas and this truly put me in a Happy Christmas mood!
Christmas Stories: Puss in Boots is a feast for the eye. The graphics are sharp, bright and colorful, all the locations are decorated with unique holiday accessories and the cut scenes are just spectacular! The music is simply enchanting - Puss in Boots is certainly one of the most festive hopa's ever created.
The game is relatively easy and straightforward with some back tracking but nowhere near as much as in other Elephant games. It's far superior to the Nutcracker which I hated! It's more child like and much better for children to play then either Nutcracker or Tin Soldier. While I loved Hans Christian Andersen's Tin Soldier I don't think it's suitable for young children, this game definitely is.
Christmas Stories: Puss in Boots is the purrfect game for children 2 to 102. It will take you on a magical journey through an uplifting storyline and unbeatable visuals - so why not relax and give it a go, it's guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit! .
I recommend this game!

I loved this game. It was fun to play, the scenes were gorgeous, the mini-games and hogs were fun and the music was lovely!
I'm with blj13 above I really enjoy playing a game with the help of adorable little critters. I truly don't understand the low ratings on this game. It wasn't a super easy game, it was a pretty long game and everything about it was just so well done! Yes I highly recommend this game.

I really, really enjoyed this game! I almost didn't get it because it looked like the game was going to be dark and kind of ugly, it was, but it was the perfect ambiance for this game. I demo'ed & purchased a lot of games over the holidays due to the great sales. I demo'ed this game but didn't purchase it, I purchased others but the whole time my mind kept thinking about this game so I gave in and purchased it too. I then started playing it and didn't want to stop until the end. It was FANTASTIC!! I'm not a big fan of the mechanics Elephant normally uses in their games (back & forth, back & forth.& Pick something up stick it here, rinse and repeat) but I love the series they put out. Unlike Mad Head or Artifex Mundi who tell a story wonderfully in all their games Elephant in my opinion does not, or the story gets lost. They aren't normally all that creative with game play either but they were here. This game felt different then the other Elephant games, better! 1. There was a great story told well. 2. The game was pretty much straight forward used common sense and there was very little back and forth and back and forth which is usually their modus operandi. The game was shorter due do this but it was cohesive, straight forward and a lot of fun! I would much rather a good clean straight forward game that's shorter then one that makes you run all over the place for nothing other then to extend game play.
I loved having the gift of sight and putting clues together in each location and drawing a conclusion of what happened in that location, it moved the story along and you really felt like you were an investigator in the game! It made it so much more enjoyable then just plodding along through a game picking up pieces placing them here there and everywhere. I really loved that there were stories told through out the game as well as the overall arch of the game that was solved nice and tidy at the very end. (who was the bad guy/gal) I will probably play this game again which is something I almost never do. Yes I highly recommend this game!.
I recommend this game!

I love Mad Head, and Artifex Mundi games so I purchase every game they make. This was a good game, it just wasn't a great game. It's no Nevertales, Beyond light advent or Princess of Ice those games were extraordinaire. The Visuals and Music as always were perfect, game play was fun and straight forward not hard to figure out what to do which I normally appreciate, but it seemed a little to easy. I had a glitch in my game that kept letters that should have been discarded the hint kept telling me I needed to use them when I did not! That frustrated me a bit and I was a little disappointed with the ending since the brother never made it back into the story other then that I had fun playing it so I would recommend buying it but on a sale day. It would not be a game I would recommend at full price!
I recommend this game!

Best game I've played in a very long time, I'd give it 10 stars if I could. I almost didn't play it because I'm so tired of icy this, and snowy that, but considering the reviews I decided to demo it, once I started playing the game I had to have it! Everything about this game was top notch, you can tell the developers poured their heart and soul into this game! You meet and interact with other people through out the game which I love, the voice overs and music where perfect, the visuals were stunning, the hogs and mini games were fun and challenging. It has a custom level so you can have skips and hints in 15 seconds, I love this because I have no problem hitting hint and told exactly which way I should go, saves my shoulder and neck from undo pain from clicking all over the place. I also have no problem skipping mini games but I didn't do that in this game because they were all so much fun! I was so sad when this game ended I would have loved to play for many more hours! Try it I think you'll like it. I loved it!
I recommend this game!

I really really liked this game. It wasn't overly Christmas-y but it was far far better then the Nutcracker. Most everything you do in this game makes logical sense, the scenes are beautiful through out and they tried to keep it looking Christmas-y throughout the game too. I loved the music and especially the voice overs but my favorite thing was the story. Yes this game has a very nice solid story. When the game ends you know why you played it, and what your purpose was! I had a lot of fun with this game unlike the Nutcracker which I HATED! I highly recommend this game. I know I will play this one again.

I don't have much to say about this game other then I hated it! You start the game and everything looks beautiful festive, and Christmas-y that soon changes and nothing, I mean nothing has anything to do with Christmas nor does it look pretty or Christmas-y once your past the demo. 1. Much of the game play made no logical sense, 2. as per usual for Elephant games there is a lot of back and forth, back and forth for no other reason then to make you think you are getting a longer game then you are and 3. I had to decapitate a snowman and later you get to beat the snot out of a rock monster. You honestly have to smash him to bits little at a time, boom there goes his arms, boom there goes his legs and boom bang there goes his head! Rotten nasty thing to do in a Christmas game many of us play with our children! I tried I really did but I can find nothing to recommend this game I honestly hate it! If you want to play a nice Christmas game with your children play Puss and Boots, or Christmas Stories: Hans Christian Andersen's Tin Soldier both of those games are wonderful!
I don't recommend this game.

Finally a game I enjoyed from start to finish! I Loved everything about this game, other then the characters were a bit crudely drawn. It was relatively easy and straight forward which is what I like when I just want to relax and have fun. This was just that fun and relaxing with an actual story! There were two things that made me really like this game, 1. not a lot of back and forth back and forth just to extend game play and 2. it had a wonderful cohesive storyline! The story unfolded gradually through out the game with cut scenes or letters you find along the way. Another thing I like is the fact that there were other characters in the game you talked/interacted with. The games were mostly pretty easy which is how I like them but many were different from all the other games I've played. This is the first game I've fully enjoyed in a very long time! It would get 10 stars from me If I could go up that high! I'm off to purchase the other Grim Legends game!

I really enjoyed this game so much when I first demoed it. It just sucked me in to the story more then any other game had in a long time! I really wanted to purchase it on the spot but couldn't afford the CE Price, well today BF had a great deal on CE's so I purchased it. I have to say I had a blast playing this game! Great to get the back story on our favorite troll we love to hate! It was on the dark, spooky side but lots of fun especially the twist I didn't see coming. The only negative is the main game is kind of short, I haven't played the bonus chapter yet so I'm hoping that will give me at least another hour. I would give the game play, scenery, music, bonus extras and fun factor a solid 5 but I had to take off a point for the shortness of the game. Had I paid full price or even the full BF members price I would have been exceptionally ticked off!! I got it for 60% off the members club price so I'm personally not complaining but I want to warn others before they go and pay full price.
The game really was a lot of fun but if I'm giving out advice I would say if you can't get this on a good sale day then wait for the SE edition. The story wraps up nicely in the main game.

I just purchased this as the deal of the day. It was well worth the 2.99!! I would have been happy if I had paid full price that's how much I liked the game. I really did enjoy the game but I took off a point because some of the puzzles didn't have the best information on how to solve them, and at times the game seemed to lose direction. I have no problem skipping the mini games/puzzles and moving on so It didn't bother me that much. I loved the premise because anything can happen in your dreams. Give it a try especially if you can get it for 2.99 I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I recommend this game!
