You meet your sister at a Halloween carnival that turns out to be more than meets the eye. Save your sister and make a new friend along the way!
Games like this prove that Halloween games can be bright and beautiful and still capture the spooky vibes of the season. It was full of fun puzzles, and if the hidden object scenes become too difficult, you can switch back and forth between playing a match-3 game instead.
I recommend this game!

I started to play this game and it seemed familiar...then I realized that it features the scenery and characters from the hidden object game "Shadows: Price For Our Sins"!
This is a hi/lo solitaire game, but underneath the cards are hidden gold cards that you must retrieve to move onto the next scene. You are also able to change the designs of your cards in the menu. I highly recommend saving all your coins for Joker cards because at some point it will become more difficult. I was able to complete the entire game in Newby mode. There is also a fun sequel to this game I recommend.

During a Halloween party with your new husband, your guests start dropping like flies and a ghost from the past has to help you solve the mystery!
Although it was short, this was a good one! Fun puzzles, a plot with lots of twists and turns, and enough challenge to keep you interested. Would love to see more like this!
I recommend this game!

You have entered the mansion of Dr. Arcana. Be prepared to open portal after portal to discover its secrets!
At first, I wasn't sold on this game. It's advertised as a Halloween game despite it only mentioning that it's October 31st in the beginning. Also, the lack of map and hints of where to go can be frustrating. But in the end, the awesomeness of the game won me over!
You'll open door after door to find more clues. You can skip any puzzle you want, but beware...Dr. Arcana will call you out on your cheating! My absolute favorite were the door puzzles, where you reconstructed symbols, then used a decoder to spell out the name of a demon.
And cheat a lot I did! At the end of the game, you're presented with a certificate. Mine was titled "Mundane Order of Mere Mortals" because, according to the certificate, I cheated 25 times!
And there's more to look forward to!! Doctor Arcana and the Secret of Shadowspire will be coming soon!
I recommend this game!

A town has been enveloped by fog and left for dead. Can you uncover the secrets from the past and help these poor souls move on?
For a game made back in 2011, this one was excellent! It's the first in the series and it will take you a while to get through (the older ones were always longer, weren't they?). You'll have lots of fun puzzles and interactive hidden object scenes along the way.
Despite having hints and skips, this one took a bit of thinking, and a time or two I had to go online and look up an old walkthrough. The annoyance was, of course, the lack of a map. There were many times I couldn't remember where to place an object and had to look literally everywhere. The hints give you no indication of where to go next. I'm still glad I played it, though!
I recommend this game!

Get to know Joe through a series of fun clutter games!
For long time fans of the Clutter series, I felt this was a real treat. I mean, how many developers incorporate their life story into a series of games? I very much enjoyed getting to know Joe's career back story and especially liked seeing his wife's pottery. For those who want to skip the story, you can easily disable it from the menu.
And the best part for me? 105 box quotes!! Everything from wedding toasts to video game quotes to commencement speeches. It included lines from many famous people, from politicians to poets and even criminals! You can go directly to them on the last three rows of the control panel.
Keep up the good work, Joe!

Someone has taken over Hellas and turned the gods into statues! Have fun discovering the culprit and learn a bit about mythology along the way!
At first, I was a bit disappointed like a few other reviewers, but you have to play the full game to really enjoy the scope of it. There wasn't as much building, but you did slowly unfreeze the statues and build up the pantheon, and if you succeeded in that, you were given a garden of your own to create. There were also awards to be won.
The match-3 was the usual satisfying fun of breaking rocks and exploding bombs. Then, as you reveal the gods and the monsters, there are little bios about each one of them to read. After completion, you get to build your own garden by doing puzzles. Some of the puzzles are tough, but thankfully they allow you to skip them after a couple of tries. This was a nice, long game!
I recommend this game!

In this game, Sinbad has to help his love find the hidden gems for her crown to release her body from its wooden form.
I disagree with most of the reviewers. This game is nearly 15 years old, and I had more fun playing it than most of the modern games. The items were small, but the hints filled up fairly quickly and I was happy to have the sparkles to help me along the way. My favorite part? Collecting bugs and putting them in jars! I found all but one, of course...

You're a wedding photographer who gets a whole lot more than you bargained for when a murder takes place at a creepy house!
I enjoyed this game! An interesting story, lots of fun puzzles, and a bit of a plot twist at the end. Alas, I could only give it four stars because a few of the puzzles had no hints or skips and I had to go digging online for the answers. Also, the ending was a bit cryptic. Still, I was glad I played it!
