This is very relaxing. The scenes and also the background music has a psychedelic vibe which really chills you out and adds to the atmosphere of the game. I don't normally like background music in games but it compliments this one very well.
This is quite an old school game. It has straight forward hidden object scenes with some puzzles in between and you can skip puzzles straight away. There are limited hints, only four hints in each chapter but there are also four other special bonus hints that you can acquire in the hidden object scenes. Each chapter consists of five underwater or island scenes and you go to different countries in each chapter. Lots of different fish pass by regulary. If you feed them, you get heaps more fish passing by and there's a chance of getting a fish with a question mark on its body. i.e a much needed extra hint. You can also scare the fish away, in order to see the hidden objects better.
You also get to take photos of the many varied fish, which go into an album. There is some photography skill involved here and that's almost like another game in itself! The re-playability is also very good. I'm playing it for the third time right now.
I recommend this game!

Such an unusual game with lots of crazy, well rounded characters. Hidden object scenes are puzzles in themselves. You have to think outside the box on occasion. Unlike the new HOGS, it will make you work for your supper. It will never lead you by the hand and tell you exactly what to do next but you will be able to complete it without too much trouble. Some objects are diificult to find but not impossible. Puzzles are fun and not predictable. Cartoon type graphics. There's a slow hint button. If it doesn't make you chuckle, it should at least make you smile. A longish game and you will get your moneys worth.

A mystery set in the late Victorian era. It's atmospheric with music that sounds like it could have come from a movie. The objects are quite challenging to find at times. Puzzles fairly easy. Hint and puzzle buttons are slow to charge up. While the hidden object scenes are realistic and have attractive graphics, they can be messy and crammed with objects. Ideally, it's a game to be savoured and not rushed.
I recommend this game!

This straight forward hidden object game is almost ten years old, which is exactly the vintage that I like. The story line is romance/medieval, combined with a science fiction/time travel element. The game seems to have predicted the future of the current HOGS, by parodying the cliched and predictable aspects of the latest games on offer.
It has that rare characteristic of having a clear linear story line, so there's no going back to other scenes to find hidden objects. Scenes don't get repeated.
Puzzles in between hidden object scenes are generally easy but fun. There is a slowish skip button for puzzles and a hint button for everything else. Music is relaxing and artwork is unusual and attractive.
What I like most about it, is the hidden crystals in every scene (including puzzle scenes) If you get them all, or nearly all, you are rewarded at the end by bonus artwork, which reveals what happened to the characters at the end of the story. Doesn't sound like much but I enjoyed it. I've played it twice - the second time to get all the crystals I missed- and I found it much more exciting the second time.
I recommend this game!

It's quirky and cute and fun.
The graphics aren't too bad and you can find objects fairly easily. There's a hint button plus you can skip the puzzles striaght away.
If you like old school hidden object games, without gimmicks or complexities and just want to relax, then this is the game for you.
I recommend this game!
