The images are all softly colored and very, very pretty. The animals and birds are really nice and the 4 mice in the first level are adorable. This type of art has always appealed to me and we don't see much of it in our puzzles.
For me it is so pleasant and soothing with its quaint images and colors that are beautifully subtle and perfect for the subject matter. I love the assortment of puzzle sizes and piece shapes. The features/options are all great and I appreciate the variety of background colors.
Purchasing more puzzles doesn't make a lick of sense to me. I already own a huge amount, but they bring me so much pleasure. And this one will be a wonderful treat this Christmas Day, just for me, after the festivities have quieted down. It will still be enjoyed after the holidays.
This developer has always been consistent with beauty and quality in all their puzzles. If you haven't already done so, check them out and you'll find there's something for everyone. Beauty abounds!
I recommend this game!

Number 8 is the same as previous games except I wasn't crazy about the graphics, not as sharp this time, some objects were blurred. The game works just like the others with not much challenge so it's good for when you just want to get away from the HOPAs for a while.
The trivia info is very limited, not interesting. I found a few animals mis-labeled but that happens often in these games. I don't especially like that the all-types-of-animals are located in atypical places....elephant in tree, crocodile on a canyon boulder, giraffe on rooftop, mermaid in town, etc. Some objects, however, were blended very well because of similar coloring to the background. Had no trouble finding the collectibles.
I loved the jigsaws with their smooth, seamless look as the pieces were placed. With no lines in the finished puzzles, they were very pretty. The games were more challenging than expected. I dislike Mahjong, the only one I skipped. I enjoyed all the others. Colors are really pretty in the games.
The gameplay was smooth, no glitches in the demo which I played to the end. The levels went quickly because the objects/animals were out of place and easy to spot. So for me it wasn't exactly a hidden object game in the usual sense. If purchasing, my choice would be the SE.
I recommend this game!

I felt this was better than the Victorian Story, just based on the demo. I thought the demo was quite good, filled with activities, characters, storytelling and tasks that were not all of the usual type. The pace was great and before I knew it time was up! That very rarely happens for me, so I expect this to be a fun adventure! Sunnyglow mentions that the game is short, so I'll just wait for the SE whenever available at a sale price.
I didn't bother searching for collectibles, to save time. I did earn 5 achievements and accidently hit on several of the busts, didn't actually see them, but that was all a good thing! Many of the areas in every scene were quite dark, had I been looking for the collectibles it would have been frustrating and I would have given up. However, the graphics were very nice, characters looked great and voices were appropriate for each. The locations weren't terribly busy so the visuals were pleasant to look at.
Every puzzle and HOP was fun for me even with them being easy, a couple were too much so. I really liked the puzzles, more creatively designed than the HOPs. There was a lot of reading with all the notes/letters hidden away in little cubbyholes. Also a good amount of dialogue but I felt it was important not to skip as it held little clues about what was upcoming and also contained a couple of items I needed in my inventory.
There were just enough puzzles and HOPs to satisfy me and I was not bored at any time during the demo. I don't believe the CE is essential unless you just can't do without the collectibles, especially if it is, in deed, a short game. I am a Muskateers fan so I hope this game turns out to be a good choice
I recommend this game!

What a surprise!! I saw this and Pop Art 2 today in the New Releases and was totally unaware of them, both released on Dec 13th. How did that happen without my knowing?? Were they sneaked in without anyone noticing? Pop Art 1 has been a huge source of enjoyment since purchasing in July 2023.
Pop Art paint games are really great! The nice variety of images are so beautiful and interesting due to the extensive array of colors and the various types of textures. To my super delight I picked up Numbers 2 and 3 today for only $2.79 each. A sweet Christmas treat, most definitely! Thank you, Big Fish!

Although I don't like some of the puzzle styles they are depicting some of the beautiful story of Jesus, so I was compelled to complete them. The narration is easy to listen to because of the very pleasant voice and you can also read along.
There are 4 puzzles/games to finish before moving on to the next set that are locked. Pictures are mostly dark but the artwork is quality, all in the natural colors you expect to see in Biblical scenes. Thank goodness no garish colors or cartoonish graphics were used. The achievements aren't hard to earn, the 25 collectibles are angels, the wallpapers are very pretty. Not a lot of options/features but I did well without them.
The game, for me, is very comforting/relaxing, enjoyed the demo, I'll buy the CE. It's a nice change from all the dark, fantasy and mindless HOGs that we never get away from, in my opinion, although I feel it definitely won't appeal to many. But maybe take a peek at the demo, since it is so appropriate for the Christmas season. I terribly miss attending church, now being disabled, so this is really a gift for me!
I recommend this game!

Again, why so many sun emblems?? You may not like the level with the 20 second auto-shuffle while items are moving, it was annoying, as was the flip and swap puzzle at end of first set of levels. Other than that the game went okay.
Not sure what's going on with the scores. I never use hints, play quickly, no misclicks. However, my score remains at 3500, sometimes it drops. So I can't figure it out. Leaves me curious as to why but it matters little anyway!
There really isn't much of a Christmas theme at all with the objects. Mostly trees, ornaments, balloons. all lacking Christmas colors. Pastels and neons and the usual every-day clutter items were predominant throughout the 14 levels I completed. I played the entire demo just for some easy fun with my morning coffee. I wasn't expecting much so I wasn't disappointed.
If you're looking for an easy time-filler Number 26 is like all the prior games in this series, with its small variety of matching styles to make it a bit more interesting. It does not have that holiday razzle-dazzle that the tile suggests.

In my opinion this game is just another bunch of nothing. It is a slam dunk right into the old garbage heap that Big Fish is intent on growing with these overly been there, done that boring games. Imagination and creativity no longer seem to be a part of the gaming world on this site.
It is so disheartening for all of us who love games and rely on them for quality entertainment. If you keep pouring out the $$$ for this stuff, don't be surprised or complain when that's all we get ! And complaints don't seem to matter anyway! I've pretty much reached the end of my rope and it won't take but a nudge to push me out of my longtime membership. At this point there's really nothing to lose by leaving. We've been neglected for far too long now with such inferior games! I'd like to think that loyality works both ways but evidently that just isn't the case.
Lots of Things, is just that. Not, imo, fun or challenging. It's all the usual HOs and games that are endlessly offered under different titles and certainly not worth the CE price. And I really don't think BF pays attention to our unhappy reviews.
I don't recommend this game.

I really didn't care much for this game. It was HOs all the way through the demo. The storyline got lost in all of it. The HOPs were too many and I got tired of them. The entire demo was tasks and HOPs.
The piles of everything made finding items harder than need be and many of them were hard to recognize. Also many were found or used in the most unlikely places and made no sense at all. So all this made the game slow and frustrating. For me it was more of an uneasy feel than fun.
The graphics were big and definitely full of Chrismasy colors and visuals everywhere. Collectibles were difficult to spot, small and in dark areas, hard to recognize. I just stopped looking for them! Somehow I managed to earn 4 achievements and 16 stars. That was surprising!
So this is another Domini game I won't be purchasing. It lost my interest early on because I was expecting more story and less HOs. I hate aborting a demo before time expires, however I found nothing new or fun by the time it ended. The games I played were only slightly fun, being too easy. Changing to Hard Mode helped a little to increase the challenge. Santa appeared briefly at start of game, then the elf was the only character besides a rabbit needing help to free his companion from a heap of packages. So, not much going on here.
I'm sure the game will be a satisfactory fun time for Domini fans, especially if you love lots of HOPs. If you're eager for Christmas and enjoy the oodles of visuals to get you in the mood as it approaches, this game should do nicely for you.

This game is just kind of okay, imo. The M3 boards are sort of festive with minimal-art design. The goals are typical of other games of this type. The obstacles are not hard to beat. Graphics are big and colorful, artwork is juvenile and will appeal to younger players.
There's building to be done but you have to complete a swap puzzle to achieve it. I'd rather it wasn't so because I dislike swap puzzles. Points are earned with the completion of each board and they are collected for the total needed to repair each section of the village which isn't really a repair task, but just automatic placement of the village buildings, etc. The puzzle pictures are cute.
For me the challenge was minimal throughout the entire demo. I was able to complete 16 levels. No glitches. It wasn't so much enjoyable as it was boring after the first handful of levels.
I feel we old folks, adults in general, don't matter anymore. Mind-exercising games are few and far between for a very long time now, gaming in prior years was so much better. Games now are mostly aimed at younger gamers. It's a shame, especially considering we oldies go back to the beginnings of Big Fish with memberships and loyality
Today's new game, however, is a little above the endless HOGs with paper dolls and cutouts pasted onto the scenes, the same format/gameplay every single time which continues to bore and disappoint. Hopefully the HOG trend will end soon and those devs will get back to the good stuff!
