I love the images in the first level, don't love that it is still locked until they all are finished. I'm really tempted to purchase Pop Art but fear it might not be so great in the next levels. Too many disappointments in their other paint games.
There's a big improvement in the images and colors. I just wish we could see them all up front to help with our decision to buy or not. Rushing through the demo to see the other levels isn't fun for me. Maybe someone else will go past the demo and give us an idea of what's ahead.
I played the CE demo and the game didn't strike me as anything special. It went slowly with too many tasks. I was on a rescue mission that was constantly interrupted by these nusances along the way. Didn't make it to the adventure which is usually the case.
The storyline really caught my attention but the medieval theme, potions, pixies and whatnot did little to make it interesting and I became bored early on. I did like the puzzles a lot but the HOPs weren't enjoyable. Too dark, very small items, some hard to recognize, irritating 5 second click penalty. It created a challenge that spoiled the fun for me so I decided to just quit. I doubt that I missed anything worthwhile.
The graphics, characters, voice-overs, lip sync, all were excellent. The locations were interesting, nice to look at but there was very little going on with adventure and romance. I was hoping for a good medieval adventure but it didn't materialize.
Domini just doesn't have that great creative spark anymore. The game was just okay, imo. Domini fans will likely be very pleased with it but for me it was underwhelming.
I appreciate Tiny Little Lion for the consistent quality of their games. I believe their HOGs contain a fun variety of mini games that all add up to a busy time with great replay value. I find them entertaining and they keep me happy during this dry spell at BFG.
A story, imo, is useless with this type of game. And after a while there's really nothing new that can dress it up except for the always excellent graphics and interesting, colorful artwork. This dev has produced an abundance of these games and maybe now it's hard to come up with something different but this style is popular with many gamers,
If you love HOGs and the repetitiveness doesn't bother you, this is another fine one to add to your collection. I enjoy the variety of mini games, there's a good assortment of categories, challenge is just right for any player, colors are bright and beautiful.
I don't need another of these games, owning so many already but if this is your cup of tea Tiny Little Lion will not disappoint. There's never enough bonus content in the CEs, so the SE is the best choice, imo.
Elephant Games remains in top form during these bleak times of underwhelming games. This game has excellent graphics, colors are soft and beautiful, characters look great. The scenes/locations are full of unique things that make me want to take my time to enjoy it all.
Everything is easy to see, the collectibles a little too easy. No tiny objects tucked away in dark areas. I wasn't overrun with too many tasks which made the demo much more enjoyable and it moved at a good pace. I love the theme of the story. This kind of fantasy always appeals to me with creatures of the sea, pixies and potions, underwater scenes are always dreamy. It's a delightful fairytale even if it's cursed.
There was the perfect amount of puzzles and HOPs for me. I don't like tons of them because I'm not patient enough to tough it out on the more difficult puzzles and end up with a lot of skipping. What was offered in the demo was fun and I enjoyed them all.
I think the CE was a bit sparse on the extra content but I wanted the Bonus Chapter this time, as Sunnyglow mentioned that it is delightful. Grateful that I can pick it up with today's sale. I believe this is a game that will appeal to young and older players and all skill levels can enjoy.
and every image displays it beautifully. This dev always produces fine quality games. The categories are a very nice variety of fantasy including one sci-fi which I really like. The colors are subdued, many of the images are rather dark giving them a more mystical appearance.
This creates more challenge and makes assembly a bit rough for me. It's harder to see the detail and fitting the pieces properly becomes frustrating with my not-so-great eyesight. Still lots of fun! I really like the features/options offered and there are plenty of sizes to choose from. The piece styles make your work more fun and interesting and a bit more challenging.
I love every puzzle in this collection! That very rarely happens! It will be a definite purchase for me today with our BOGO sale.
I'm very surprised that this comes from Seven Sails. I have lots of games from this dev though I don't recall that LTDA is part of the name. Maybe that's where the problem lies! Perhaps someone new on board or taking over?
The Seven Sails I know always created great entertainment with their solitaire and match 3 garden-building games. I play them very frequently. This new offering is a big let-down. The story seems to have disappeared after being mentioned in the synopsis.
The graphics contain nice artwork when you can see it but the scenes are so dark that it can't be enjoyed. The first one was so bad I had to use hint almost all the way through. I struggled with the next one as well, much too dark, items unrecognizable. I finally just gave in and clicked everywhere to progress. That was very aggravating, not fun at all. Gameplay is boring and VERY slow.
It might get interesting and busier later but I seriously doubt it. It's off to a really bad start. I have no desire to purchase a game where the challenge is just trying to see it!!
Like the previous Puzzle Vacations editions the countries represented have great beauty to be appreciated. However little of it is shown in the puzzles. The images chosen are not very interesting and just not colorful enough, imo.
Out of all the categories the animals are always the most disappointing and food is never appealing. As for other subject matter I fail to see why some of it was even considered for a puzzle. In this collection some of the images are really lovely and colorful. I would love to visit the elaborate French architecture but in puzzles it is boring.
I love all the features and options, background color choices, all the piece types offered. The challenge really increases when you work with different types and I like that a lot. If there were better quality images of animals and scenery, fewer buildings, less food, I would be happy to purchase.
This is a fine set of puzzles that will entertain for a very long time for anyone who loves this hobby. I found no tech issues in the demo.
I think this set is much better than the last one from Art Coloring. The huge selection of colors are so gorgeous and when the pics are completed the result is wonderfully beautiful.
There are more animals this time which I really love. People images don't normally appeal to me but a few of these are fantastic. In the food category I am surprised that someone thought to include a watermelon, a hamburger and a sardine can. Those are not my idea of art! Nothing can make those images appealing, imo!
Overall this is a very nice collection. I appreciate that the images are not what we typically find in our paint games. I love the interesting variety, especially with the animals. No locked first level, a pixel paint option, nice subject matter. However less food, fewer people, a color background option would make Art Coloring much more enjoyable, for me,
I thoroughly enjoyed the demo. Will definitely purchase when a good sale arrives.
Something for everyone. Nothing complicated here, very colorful. I think Tiny Little Lion did a smashing job creating a great collection of puzzles. I loved the entire demo! Had a little trouble with Word Search because if the cursor goes off course, a Hint has to complete the word. Great variety in each category, easy and challenging for all skill levels.
I found enough favorites to make this a good purchase for me and with 38 bonus levels it will keep me busy for a long time. It's nice when we get CEs that are so entertaining and really give us our money's worth!
I liked this game a great deal The demo contained more than just tasks and the ones I dealt with weren't so bad. This was very nice for a change and I actually enjoyed it all. not bored to death for once.
With the exception of the too-dark first HO scene I really enjoyed the HOPs. Very creative, good challenge. I loved the puzzles/games. I'm never good at navigation so the boat trip was a bit frustrating. I didn't find any of the scenes to be as intense as the synopsis suggested. A couple were a bit disturbing but no big deal. Graphics were great as were the characters and voice overs. The afterlife visuals were done well, good imaginative artwork.
It's a busy game with the choices you are faced with. Each story has a villain and other characters to interact with that determine your outcome. So make your choices wisely! Not much in the way of collectibles, extra content. The SE will be enough for me. Elephant Games did a fine job making this game veery interesting and entertaining. I love this kind of game in the first place and the quality here makes it an excellent purchase.
