This dev has specialized the art of being boring. Animal pictures should be interesting and beautiful, these are not. They are mostly blurry, dark, little variety of species, lots of grey and orange animals. If you love birds only a few unspectacular ones are presented here. If not for lions and tigers there would be much less than 500 puzzles.
Very disappointing but that's the norm, nothing new with features or options either. These puzzles may please many others but for me they are a far cry from being 500 incredible detailed pictures, as claimed in the synopsis.
I don't recommend this game.

Art By Numbers seems to be veering away from the large wonderful, interesting images more than ever. This collection just didn't enthuse me to purchase as those in the past.
Some of the pictures were really gorgeous but too many, imo, were too small and too "cartoonish". The color palette is still amazing with so many variations of shades and tones. They provide great detail to every image.
However, I'm not interested in robots, flip-flops, ice cream cones or a single image in the center of the page. The subject matter is lacking, for me, so Number 18 will be a no-go. I'm sure it will be appealing to many others, It is a top quality paint game, one of our best.
I recommend this game!

Access bonus content only after all items are found. No profile needed to enter the game. Short tutorial. I didn't find the game to be as awful as another reviewer claimed, but I did not like it either. It's just another boring HO game, nothing more. Very little challenge.
I thought the graphics and color were very good. Dialogue can be skipped. Really bare-boned as far as features and options are concerned. No reason for this to be a CE, imo. Won't be a purchase or even an interest beyond initial curiosity. Others may enjoy it for the simple HOG that it is.

but if he hadn't changed we'd be without an important part to the Ravenhurst stories. I've never had that great fondness for MCF games that others do but Ravenhurst always interested me. This game was very good, the story caught my attention. I enjoyed it a lot.
The depiction of the characters was excellent, voices were great. Nice graphics, colors were appropriate to the time period. Visually the game was appealing to me. I thought all the HOPs and puzzles were quite creative, not overly challenging. The interactive HOPs and multi-part puzzles were the most enjoyable.
I liked the robot and the instruments and gadgets that added extra interest to some of the scenes. Travelling back in time is always fun and learning more about Dalimar was intriguing. Overall the game was well paced, busy enough, contained a good amount of games. The story didn't disappoint and I enjoyed the adventure.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed the previous games in this series so this was a fun find today. However, there isn't enough in the CE, of interest, so I'll wait for the SE. The demo had me busy with plenty of annoyance. Everything I touched needed something else. Find, repair, assemble, unlock.
I had to click each piece of dialogue rather than it advancing on its own, a bit annoying. All can be skipped but that would take away from the story. The characters looked and sounded great, except for Uncle Sherlock who looked like he was dead, sitting in his chair. The graphics were fine but a little dark, they were appealing, the locations and scenes were busy and interesting, rich colors. I liked the few HOPs and puzzles in the demo and appreciated a not-so-abundant amount of them. Some puzzles were new to me, the HOPs were the usual types and easy.
The story sounds promising, interesting title, hopefully it's a worthwhile whodunit adventure. I never quite make it into the action because the demo always cuts me off just at the wrong moment. Very frustrating, knowing I'll have to buy the game if I want more. With Ms. Homes, however, I'm willing to take a chance that this will be a game worth purchasing. I'm rating it 5 stars, expecting it to be another, enjoyable, engaging case with Ms. Homes, as before.
I recommend this game!

They are brilliant. This game far surpasses any of the others. I love how the cells fall away as you paint and how the color attaches to the cursor/brush. I love not dealing with individual pixels. It isn't a chore working on the large images, no endless searching for a few last "stray" cells.
There are so many features and options that make this game such a pleasure. Being able to change the cell colors is so helpful. Red, purple and teal work best for me. The grid around the image eliminates that awful grey and black background that we always disliked. The background color outside the grid is changeable.
No locked levels, paint the pictures in any sequence. That's something I really appreciate. No single images plopped in the middle of the page, they fill the entire area. The images are pleasing, interesting, of good variety. After the picture is completed you can view it as long as you like. It doesn;t shrink to a tiny size, it isn't blurred.
I could go on and on about this excellent pixel art game. But I'll stop here by saying that Tiny Little Lion is a superior dev. They put so much effort into their creations. I've never been disappointed with a purchase. Paint By Pixel is another fine example of their appreciated talent and creativity.
I recommend this game!

If you love puzzles that are beautiful, interesting, unique, you'll find none of them here. You will be sorely disappointed with this collection. The colors are terribly bland or the pics are too dark. The subject matter is by far the worst I have ever seen. Why would I spend time on a puzzle of someone's legs, someone in bed with a laptop, a guy in a darkened kitchen, a bookshelf of disarrayed books??? Each box of puzzles just gets worse. Even if I were an avid "Home Sweet Home" individual, I would not pleased with what I see here. I am seriously amazed at the poor quality. Maybe that's what this dev strives for rather than great reviews. The synopsis is surely describing some other jigsaw collection!!
I don't recommend this game.

I own all the Lost Lands games and not one of them has been a disappointment. The graphics are wonderful. I always take my time, stopping to take in the marvelous, realistic detail. So for me the length is fantastic. The quality of the series never falters.
The stories are intriguing, the adventures deliver unique environments and great characters that quickly grab your attention. The HOPs and puzzles are a good mix of different levels of challenge. Some are more creative than others but they are all very enjoyable. Nice variety. However, I think there are way too many puzzles and I skip quite a few.
If you prefer the CE, Five-BN always delivers a satisfying package of extra content, lots of collectibles. You may not have delved into this series, perhaps with being new to Big Fish. Please check it out, I think you'll become an instant fan!
I recommend this game!

The graphics are so dark the artwork is hard to see, card backs are unattractive. It is the same game as always and, frankly, it is just downright ugly.
The storyline is a farce, there is no mystery involved, it only exists as a word in the title. There was a game back in the Middle Ages called Tric Trac, played with 52 cards. I'll bet it was much better than these from 8 Floor and surely it wasn't cursed with Gold Cards!
I don't recommend this game.

There are so many cells in each image, I think it near impossible to complete one in the demo. I tried my best but just wasn't quick enough. But it's okay because none of the levels are locked. You can start with a favorite and jump around all you want.
I love that feature. Also love that the cells resemble needlepoint stitches as you fill them in. Monotone shades. A unique look. The images are just kind of a blurry mass of blank cells before you begin. When you zoom in they come into focus with the cell numbers and the sizes are so easy to see. It's hard to make a mistake while "stitching" as they are filled in with ease.
Large groups of same color can be scanned with your mouse without fear of always hitting a wrong number. If you make a boo-boo, that cell sticks out in a white circle, easily spotted. The cell numbers are displayed on spools along the bottom of the screen. I like that a lot.
The Easter themed images are not so sophisticated but they're cute and surely it's fun to finally see the end result after the time it takes to finish one. Lots and lots of stiches! A new twist on pixel painting as I see it.
I would definitely purchase on sale because it's so different and because I love Easter.
I recommend this game!
