The graphics and colors are beyond excellent in this stupendous clutter game. A dream come true for puzzle nuts with an overflowing package of fun and endless replay value. My favorites are always the Box Quotes (wish there were even more) and the beautiful Picture Puzzles which surprise me every time with their unique images. I love the clutter matching but it's hard on my eyes and I can't keep at it for long. Sometimes the mess becomes overwhelming, but that's when the challenge really kicks in. Loads of fun!
Just such a top quality game and great $$ value. If only other devs would put so much effort and creativity into their games! What a fine deal this game is with over 1700 levels and fun variety of puzzles! I haven't even come close to finishing my other Clutter gems. So why do I need this one? Because it is a brilliant example of clutter madness that I can't resist!
There's far too much for me to review in detail. I know others will do a stellar job of it. Try the demo and have fun, everyone!
This game could win an Oscar for "ugly"! I endured the tedious task of completing the first level to see what lies ahead. More ugly images, every single level. No beauty to be found anywhere. Out of all the massive variety of subject matter why on earth did the dev choose these??
I don't like the colors being chosen for me. I like to skip around with colors of my choice. The number hovering above the cursor was a distraction. The geometric shapes would've been okay for a few pictures, but it removed the beauty from subjects like fruit, flowers, animals that should have a natural look to them.
Doing one pre-designated color at a time made painting too simple, boring and tedious. Completing an image took only a few minutes and the end result was not satisfying. Having just one number on the board takes away the challenge of searching for the cells to fill in with my color choice.
There were no features to add to the fun of painting, this is a pretty bare-basics game and of the few options I was able to change the cursor size and turn down the music. It was the same as other color games I own and I do enjoy the violin, just too repetitious. The colors were very bright and pretty, but didn't work well for the images I painted on the first level and half of the second. I wanted to check out the blending and detail. There was none! Also, without a background to fill in, there was no depth or interest to the finished piece.
I hated being unable to fill in large sections of only one color by double clicking the cursor to quicken the task. Unlike other art games, here we color each segment one at a time which is pure agony when faced with a multitude of same-color pieces.
A child would likely love this game, all the images are very simple and brightly colored. My tastes run more with nature, sea life, people, animals, landscapes, still life. And I would love to see a bigger finished piece, to admire after the time spent creating it, or as a wallpaper or "just because". The game ran smoothly, no tech problems, the cursor worked quickly with no jerky movements.
So this a no purchase for me and I was really expecting it to be a fine addition to my collection. Hopefully the wait won't be long for a quality art game to arrive. However, try the demo and you may find it to be delightful. It's not a bad one if in need of a quick, easy game to pass some idle time and have a coupon on hand.
For the longest time I have been so tired of the many fantasy games and magical realms. But this one caught my eye and rekindled my interest for an adventure through Faryon. Once again we have a loved one who disappears into another world, which sets a rescue mission into motion.
The wicked one in our story is bent on revenge as Diana works to find her mother and bring her home. At the same time she discovers fantastic powers within herself that enable her to defeat the evil at hand. I think this story's plot has substance and seems to have been written with more than just a whimsical thought to turn into a game. I've always liked Nevertales and think this is a good addition to the series. I bought it after completing the demo.
Faryon is an action-filled story with numerous battle scenes to liven things up and an array of amazing creatures dwelling within this embattled fairytale land. The story is easy for me to follow, the activities keep the game flowing at a good pace. I'm enjoying the HOPs and puzzles, the amount isn't becoming tedious and there's a good variety of both. I love having morphs in the HO scenes and I'm eager to play the Match 3 at the end of the game.
This will be a long game because I play slowly to absorb all the detail along the way. Something I do love with fantasy games that include unusual beings and landscapes. Don't know how the battle scenes will affect my overall enjoyment, but so far it has been a fun adventure. The graphics, colors, characters, music are all very fine and I ran into no tech issues.
This is a CE package worth the $$ for me. And if the Bonus Chapter is a sequel instead of an unrelated story, that's even more of a bonus. Any skill level can enjoy this game with its 5 choices of challenge and, IMO, it will be good entertainment for most ages.
I recommend this game!

Mediterranean Journey 4
Your Mediterranean Journey continues! Explore new cities and islands while learning about the region's unique spirit and culture!
We have several Mediterranean games from this developer and I'm not impressed with any of them. Very little challenge to liven things up, puzzles and HOs are boring. If today's game brings anything new to the table, I was unaware of it in the demo. It felt pretty much the same as always.
I think this dev puts forth little effort and imagination, the creative touch seems to be missing. I was scarcely entertained with this one. It will take more than an anvil and a chocolate-eating spider to make it fun for me, although the spider is a cutie. Not getting a whole lot here and once again the synopsis is over-exaggerating game description.
I did complete the demo, the game had its usual features and all worked fine. The 3 play modes were not much different from one another, the graphics were nice and sharp. lots of bright color. Some objects were too big, some too small. The games were too easy. Mediterranean Journey 4 is excellent for beginners, it did run well, the replay value is a good thing.
Not a bad game if looking for something very basic that doesn't require much thought or effort, just a game to fill some available time after a busy day. For me, it just isn't enough challenge and the games are the too-familiar ones that have lost their pizzazz because they are used so often.
I loved this game for its more serious nature. The storyline was interesting, a much needed break from all the fantasies. I thought this whodunit was a bit different and, for me, it was entertaining from start to finish. It wasn't scary but the creep factor was present with a serial killer at large.
It all started 15 years ago with the kidnapping of Dana's sister as a child. The disappearance of another girl has a familiar feel to it and Detective Dana is on the case. Childhood memories are taunting her as she searches for clues and gathers evidence. Could this be the culprit from the past? Or another serial killer with the same MO? This is a well paced game, busy with activities and tasks of the usual variety. There was a decent cast of characters, I especially liked Dana. Music was good.
The HOPs and puzzles were of average challenge with just the right amount of puzzles. There was just a small variety of HOPs, not as creative as usual but I liked them. I really can't fairly determine the length of a game especially since I check out all the detail in every scene. The time will differ from player to player but I finished the CE in approx 6 hrs. I always feel the entertainment is mostly in the theme and adventure of the story rather than the bling, so without it the SE should still be very enjoyable.
I think this new series shows promise of something more substantial to take us out of fairytale land, into a world more suited to adult players. For me it's been too much fantasy, for too long. I hope you enjoy the game as much as I did!
of being scary, even with the creepy dolls. I'm afraid Domini didn't put much effort into today's game. It shows little creativity and seems put together hastily with little thought to the conformity of the storyline. I played the entire demo and nothing stood out to indicate this would be a good purchase choice.
It was enjoyable until the inconsistencies made it confusing at times. The characters were non-descript. I didn't care for the camera and the tasks were just plain silly. This time the scenes were so dimly colored that it was like feeling my way around in the dark, the purples and blues made it worse. The HOP scenes were varied but not up to par with ones from previous games. The puzzles can be played in easy or hard mode, but the change in challenge was slight.
The extras were sparse, there was an indicator light that alerts you to a collectible in the scenes, the usual number including coins, plus earn 40 achievements. I had no tech issues within the demo and the game progressed at a decent pace. A story with creepy dolls appealed to me and I really wanted to purchase, but there were too many confusing moments and other distractions that lessened my interested.
I know this game will be perfect for many others, especially with the dolls and ghosts, but I just couldn't get into it and felt Domini could have done much better.
In this clever solitaire mystery game, follow Mark and his sister Lily as their lives are upended when they learn of their father’s mysterious disappearance!
It has an interesting missing person story and the extra content is a fun relief from the tedium that can occur even when we love the game. I like all the features, the obstacle cards add a little extra challenge and bonuses are good, but I do not care for the card backs and fronts. They are unattractive and some of the numbers are hard to make out. This minor issue did not effect the fun, of course.
I like this relaxed style of solitaire but it does present it's challenges and the bonuses are nice to have on hand. Having 200 levels, 20 HOs and some trophy achievements to earn, I find this solitaire lots of fun especially with the detective story attached. I played as Lily in the demo, trying the Advanced Mode, but will most likely continue in Casual. I'm not sure but I think you get more cards in Casual Mode. Even if that's true, it doesn't alleviate my efforts by much, to achieve a perfect score. And that's exactly how I like it. A good challenge without the hair-pulling experience. I enjoyed the demo and bought game.
8 Floor does it again! Or should I say DOESN'T do it again? Another disappointment is the norm from this developer, should've expected it but I still try the demoes for some crazy reason! Solitaire games are bad enough these days without adding another to the heap.
And seriously, the synopsis never describes a game as it really is. Why is that? Always very misleading! And today we have a perfect example of a misrepresented game that misses the mark entirely when it comes to the entertainment that awaits us. I just don't get it! And apparently this dev doesn't either, otherwise we wouldn't be consistently giving low star reviews.
I know there are many quality solitaire games on the market. Hopefully our long wait will end? I replay the great ones from years past on a regular basis, very thankful that they work with Windows 10.
before the Penguin family retires from their travels? 45 games doesn't make any sense to me. I know many fans won't agree, but I feel it's just time to stop. Surely Fantasy Mosaics can come up with some different critters and ideas, something new and refreshing. In my opinion there's no cuteness left.
I was a fan and own 20 of these games which won me over with their top quality and beautiful colors. But then the fun turned into boredom because each new game was really only a repeat of my old ones. My $$ will have to wait for something more to be added to regain my interest.
Obviously Fantasy Mosaics has a great creative talent, so it would be great to see a beautiful new nonogram series from them. I hope they will see fit to recover from the "lazy syndrome" that has befallen so many of our developers.
I don't think the Penguin family will ever lose its popularity, as the gameplay works flawlessly, the colors are beautiful and the images are really cute. But, IMO, some changes are long overdue in the way of features and extras, and "story".
So bright and beautiful with vivid color, the graphics are very sharp. I enjoyed what I was able to play in the first game and this one, but I won't consider buying either one because they are too broken. I hope the issues are corrected, it's certainly sad for someone to buy a game only to find it unplayable due to the glitches. I love Boomzap and have nothing but praises for the games I own, where their talents are shining!
