This game kept my interest. It flowed pretty well, and the map was a great shortcut from area to area. It was quite a mixed bag of influences from runes and alchemy to the little dwarf and his evil brother. The game was not was not overwhelming with creepy occult stuff and was not too short.
Good graphics, bright colors. Repairing the ship was a nice touch. HOS were too easy, minigames were really rather old-feeling, but map was great. This is a good game for beginners.

Based on what I have played (about halfway through) I was impressed by the thought that went into this. I love murder mysteries. The HOS were quite varied and different from the norm. The character artwork was stiff, but the voices and accents were remarkable. The one feature I really liked was to be able to customize my game play beyond the "casual, difficult, and hard" choices. This game is a "keeper".
Storyline was quite unique. No much of a twisty-turny mystery story, and the HOS were predictable, but it was a fun game to play. What was funny was the little girl's calm demeanor as the water phantoms took over the house. Good game for beginners.

I am an MCF fan, and even though this game was a bit different than the normal MCF, I enjoyed it. It was pretty straight forward, but the actors and the graphics got my attention. The map functioned well, even though you had to trek a lot. (I kept forgetting to take the ladder) I also thought the HOS were thoughtful because you had to explore more than one room to find things.

The HOS in this game were varied, although relatively easy. Since I love to play a game more for the enjoyment out of it rather than the challenge, I like the fact I can change the length of time on the Hint and Skip buttons (after 42 years of working retail sales I've had my fill of challenge--lolol) The storyline itself peaked my interest because I am a fan of Poe.

Game seemed rather short, but graphics were good. The ending was a bit of, well, abrupt. Certain elements made little or no sense, such as the dinosaurs. The HOS were nice because of the ability to change certain items. That was a plus. I did get stuck at one point and had to resort to the tips on the forum.

A lot of thought went into this game, including suspense, twists, turns, and a variety of minigames. Although the HOS were varied, they were not as numerous as other HOPAs. I liked the minigames within the HOS. (BoomZap paid more attention to the storyline rather than flood you with innumerable HOS) This one was hard to stop, I wanted to keep playing.

Dark, dreary, mysterious. Very good soundtrack. Great storyline that didn't stray. Scenes blended well, and I really liked the "teleport" feature since I am lazy. I skip a lot of minigames, but these were pretty cool. Great game for beginners as a CE.

Although the visuals and colors were intense, after playing three games of pretty much the same theme in close proximity to each other felt tired and worn out. There was nothing wrong with this game, but I couldn't wait to get out of it and put it on the back burner for later. Sorry, guys.
