Although there is no way to change background colors, and the music I had to turn off because it drove me nuts, there is several different versions of the same game and you can change tile colors/patterns. I use this game especially when I only have a few minutes of down time or I am downloading another BF game. Not a bad game

After 15 minutes of this game I had to uninstall it. I'm sure plenty of people like this type of game with cartoon-like graphics, but it drove me bonkers. I recommend this game only because although I didn't like it, I'm sure plenty of others will.

Didn't like this game at first, but once I figured out where we were going here, it wasn't a bad game at all. Very dark graphics, so if you don't like witch tales with a foreboding nightmarishly dim trip through town, you might pass this one up. There is no hint button except in the HOS, so I had to tag the walkthrough rather often. Graphics were clear, but not very professional.

This game has a great storyline, and the game seemed to flow smoothly. The developers pulled off a great job on character personalities which adds a nice dimension to the storyline. I liked the double layered HO scenes, and the mingames were rather easy. Warning: this game is hard to put down once you start.

The graphics were absolutely fantastic. One room can affect the progress of another. Overall, the game was rather busy, the flow of the movements choppy. The hint button worked well as a guide, although it did not actually direct you, it showed where you should go. I did not need to use the map. The one disconcerting thing that did bother me was the inventory at the top of the page instead of the bottom, where most games have it. Not a bad game, though.
I recommend this game!

I played about thirty minutes of this game and was quite impressed by the way you can zoom in and out of scenes including HOS. The opening scenes at the very beginning of this game were interesting, and laid out really different. The game has an a bit of a game show feel, and you can purchase "jujus" which open up other areas of the map. This type of game may not interest the hardcore HOS fans, but has enough elements to interest most gamers. Also (I love this) the hint button REFRESHED very FAST.

The game is one huge improbability but that's what makes it fun. Played the demo and then purchased it. Game has a good "flow" with one step leading to the next. The minigames were creative, (I never guided caterpillars before). ERS used a lot of imagination on this one! Dr. Vince comes off positively evil, and Mary just as convincingly scared. Good job, ERS!

Played casual mode and hint button was a good guide. Game keeps your interest right on through and has you guessing who the real culprit is. Lots of twists and turns. A very good murder mystery even if done in a cartoon-type of presentation. Lots of snakes, if you are a snake-lover.
Great storyline! #Sean Connery played the monk detective in the above movie, and I could see him as the detective in this game#. This game is a good one for murder mystery fanatics. It's also pretty straight forward and if you like repeat HOS a good one for beginners. To me, the game felt shorter because in the repeat HOS, finding some of the same items again.
I would not recommend this game for younger children because of the depicted murder scenes.
I recommend this game!

Dark Dimensions: City of Ash
A dark dimension has fallen over Phoenix Hill, turning its residents into volcanic ash. Help them rise from the ashes.
Game flowed quite well. Hint button was very directional. Audrey (main character) herself was intriguing. Did not need map, although journal was good for backup notes. Only had to hit the walkthrough twice, which says a lot for the game. Game was shorter than most, but was put together without a busload of "back and forth" which drives me up a wall. This game was well worth the money and I would like to see more on this series from the developer.
