One of my all-time favorite games, for it's unique style. Absolutely enchanting and beautiful music (one of the very few games where I keep the music turned on during play and wish I had the soundtrack). Odd characters! Very difficult and confusing game at first--NO HANDHOLDING and you WILL be confused, lol. Normally I never use SGs or walkthroughs but here I had to check the forum/walkthrough a few times. But I loved the challenge!!! Strange and bizarre story that all makes sense at the end, which was very touching and sweet. An immersive experience for the senses and the mind, I loved it and have played more than once.
I recommend this game!

Weird Park: Broken Tune
Explore a haunted amusement park in Weird Park: Broken Tune! Investigate a rash of “accidental” deaths and solve the case!
I loved this one. Very LONG (when you think it's going to be over, it's not, it goes on quite a bit longer...and this is not the CE version). I love amusement-park themed games and this was extremely well done. No, it's not the hardest game out there, and yes there's a lot of backtracking (I don't mind that at all. Yea, you redo the same hidden object scenes more than once (again, I do not mind that at all). But the scenes are so spot-on to how an old-fashioned amusement park would look...the colors and even the music were just right! The imagery and gameplay was fun and engaging. I loved the occasional appearances of the big and small clowns.
The only beef I had is I skipped a lot of the puzzles..which I RARELY do..because there were a lot of "fiddley" types (sliders, etc) which I just plain lose patience with after a while. Sure I know HOW to do it but executing it is annoying so I skipped some.
I didn't find the story "shallow" as has been stated. Yes the ending was a tad abrupt but since the game was quite long (I played in installments and it took several days to finish), I wasn't about to complain at the end. As well, it's left open for a sequel.
IMO this is as good as Dreamland, and you don't have to buy the CE to get a great gaming experience from it.
I recommend this game!

Tino's Fruit Stand
Move Rikki around the board to fill custom orders and save the shop.
An old game, w/ none of the bells and whistles of today's games, but a sweet, charming, and fun one nonetheless. One of the first I ever played, and still go back to all the time. Very colorful, with a simple premise. Move the monkey around the board of fruit to fill the orders. Not as easy as it seems once the levels get higher! There's a trick to getting the special bonuses and the fruit board is really like a maze you must navigate. Cute monkey sound effects. Annoying "cheers" when you make bonus plays. Music annoying so I turn it off (as I do in all games.) Very small budget game, but darling hand-drawn graphics and unique gameplay. Choice of timed or untimed mode. In timed mode you only have so long to fill each order, and fruit that isn't harvested in a certain number of plays, starts to gather flies and eventually rots, creating a blocked space. In untimed mode, no rush on filling orders and fruit never rots. Also has story and arcade mode. (the story is about how you make money to keep Tino's Fruit Stand going against the big Walmart-type mall in the neighborhood.) Give this one a try. You might be surprised how addictive, sweet, and enjoyable it is. --requin. 12/12/11.

An older game which should never fall out of vogue, this is a unique, enchanting, beautiful game, perfectly rendered in every way. Beautiful music perfectly compliments the stunning graphics. But don't be fooled..this is a challenging game which requires great hand-eye coordination and the ability to prioritize, think and act quickly! There is so much to do in each level. There are excellent tutorial levels at the beginning (which you WILL need) but it's really fun to get the hang of how to move Wik and all that he can do. Once you get that far, the levels progressively get more and more challenging. There are levels of difficulty to choose from before you play. When my 2004 Dell Dimension 4600C crashed and burned recently and needed a new HD, wiping out all my games, I knew this was one I would have to seek out again. It's that unique and that good. Give it a try and know that it only gets better (and harder) after the demo is up. --requin, 11/24/11.
