Challenging and fun, Mystic Journey is also a free to play game that I've long awaited it's release here. Yay! Clover Tales The Magic Valley is also a free to play and also here on BFG so why pay to play when members can purchase the entire game or use a credit. Battle your wits to level up at your leisure. If dissatisfied with one star, replay the level and try for three stars! 5BN Games gives a broad space for improvement since there is unlimited energy.
Devs have so many outstanding games--Lost Lands, New York Mysteries, Darkness and Flame series. Also recommend the Lost Island Eternal Storm and Lost Island Mahjong Adventure. All are here on BFG.
More from 5BN Games as these Developers are one reason I stay here on the Site. Enjoy!
Appreciate these Developers who have hung in there with BFG players especially amidst petty complaints. Are the puzzle piece collectibles big enough now? Pretty soon, we'll be able to sit and watch a game play itself without any thought, skill or challenge.
Few Devs actually create hidden object scenes any longer or hasn't anyone noticed? Initially liked large file/pure adventure only and reluctantly played HOG-hidden object games. Over the years HOGS were really good and evolved into HOPA--hidden object part adventure.
Is it a HOG or a HOPA? This is a HOPA and a good one at that. Elephant reinvented themselves with animation! The helper raccoon is much like Elf in Mystery Trackers. Elf is adorable bur Elephant introduced humor with this one who is quiet and unobtrusive. There's a story and depth to the Wise Dragon. Pleasantly surprised and grateful to find a good game!
Elephant Games has remained faithful and consistently very good developers with the Haunted Hotel series, I think one MCF and other excellent PC games such as the Mystery Trackers series. A definite buy along with the Midnight Calling: Castle on this BOGO weekend as long as I can use my monthly credits. That's all folks! Enjoy the 2017 Solar Eclipse--with protective eye wear of course.
5 BN Games Developers never cease to amaze me with so many outstanding games. This is well worth the purchase price with many hours of enjoyment and challenges. Very similar to the Lost Island Eternal Storm and Lost Island Mahjong Adventure. Jam packed with hours of delightful game play to help unwind. Enjoy!
Yes, indeed, it's 2017 and I've replayed this 1st in the Nightfall Mysteries series game over and over having made the original purchase when it was 1st released years ago. A keeper for the earnest game player.
Atmosphere is foreboding, eerie and scary. Presently, developers issue a written notice or a warning if games are intense. Story is well written and hidden objects are hand drawn and do-able. Definitely step into your time warp machine and play. Enjoy!
I would like to say that the EIPIX team FINALLY put some effort into presenting an interesting story line along with all the bells and whistles but that would be inaccurate. The puzzles were somewhat challenging which was a plus, however, the story started out one way and then splintered way into left field somewhere. Who exactly is the Watch working for? Suddenly, I'm working for Dorothy who shot at me and is now giving me orders to run after her dog? I don't think so. Also, who is Ahab and will I eventually be hunting for the white whale? I so wanted to like the game and have renewed faith in the broken review system but my head was swimming from the roller coaster story line. My final conclusion is that the EIPIX team should definitely stop drinking the water.
Be encouraged, though as there's an abundance of OLDER EXCELLENT GAMES here on BFG and EIPIX has had many good games under their belt--just not this one. Check out my other reviews as I try to always include an excellent older game in the Current Favorite box. Enjoy!
The 4th in the Echoes of the Past series with Orneon consistently providing excellence, improved quality and ever more creative puzzles. Not to mention the story is interesting! Yes, a fluid plot that brings the game playing into focus. Players are comfortable with searching for an item and how did it get there. Object, clothing style, back drop are all time appropriate to the story. Developers cut no corners whatsoever!
Can't express enough that these developers bring us some of the very best and the games are absolutely timeless. It's now 2017 and I am purchasing the Collector's Edition after already owning the Standard. Going back to the future here on BFG as there's so many very excellent games. This is just one of the many superior older games as the vast majority of newer releases are the same old same old boring, cookie cutter games. Enjoy!
Please leave a gracious BFG comment for an original and challenging puzzle adventure. No crying that the game is too difficult--no skip, no help, no step by step strategy guide. That's the point in playing games, especially a challenge! When playing cards, do we hold all aces up our sleeves? I think not. There's plenty of mind bending, boring games from which to select. Let's give a warm BFG thanks!
Original and mind bending. Love it. Yay! Thanks so much! Enjoy!
Not exactly an intense thriller, A warning of violence is more accurate due to gun shots. Could have been a good game with so much MAD HEAD talent. Excellent artists do not necessarily mean good writers. Abundantly over used plot--dark evil rises from the depths consuming victims to ultimately yield unlimited power. Not to mention the super strange wisps of weird entities being defeated by a weapon players must target. All too simple, really and all too ho-hum.
Scenes are loaded with color and tasks. Puzzles although interesting and creative, leaves players with no sense of challenge or accomplishment. Lots of bells, whistles, sound effects, colorful scenes, yet, little else. No intrigue and uninteresting, shallow story left no alternative but to delete.
Ironically, if developers had presented these types of games that are more adventure than hidden object some years ago, BFG members would be attacking in full force. Now, we get what we get--watered down versions of adventure games wrapped up in a colorful bow with five stars. When is the last game that has ever had anywhere near 100 reviews--not found this review helpful, but actual reviews? Enjoy!
Searching for something fun and interesting here on BFG in 2017--which is becoming increasingly rare, I came across this little "diamond-in-the-rough" game nugget. Although dated with no bells and whistles, there are lots of laughs and a story line.
No criticism from this player. Years ago, I may have not have liked the game, but there's NOTHING on BFG anymore worth playing. Lots of fun. At least there's a story and players can enjoy the ride. -Mama Mia-
