I beta tested this one, and I have been waiting quite a long time for it to come out. Since I found the survey version to be totally great, I was surprised it took this long to be released, but I'm glad it's finally here! First, the graphics are so good; loved all of them. The HOs are creative and fun; the story is captivating and the mini games are entertaining. The voice overs are good, except for maybe the sister, who kind of has a voice that's been exposed to helium. Lots to do and very fun! I highly recommend this one.

This game is totally adorable! I love the artwork and the music is charming. There is a little story, which is cute, and there are some mini games during the actual solitaire part which are quite challenging. It's the normal up or down on type of solitaire, which is my personal favourite, and while it is not too difficult, there are still goals for each level. Once in a while, you need to help Santa before you start the next level, and you can also buy things to assist you. Love it! Merry Christmas and festivals to all!
What is with these new games that are mostly videos?? This moves so slowly, with a ton of cut scenes, that you cannot move quickly through. I hate that....it totally breaks up the flow of the game. I guess it's okay, if you want to watch a movie, but if you feel like playing a game, forget it. Sorry, I can't comment on the HOs, because I never got to any. It took a fair amount of time to get through the puzzles that I encountered, and there was no skip button for the ones I encountered. When I am playing a demo, sometimes I skip the puzzles if they are taking me too long. I like the premise of this game, but it was so dragged out, that I gave up from frustration. Try it and see for yourself, but I am really tired of games with so much dialogue and little play value.

If you don't want to play a game, but just feel like watching a badly filmed movie, then this game's for you.
The story slowly (really slowly) unfolds with a lot of exposition and dragged out talking. There were really no hidden object scenes in the part I played, although I only lasted about 20 minutes. The constant jiggling of the scenery, to simulate explosions and fighting, I suppose, started to make me feel really ill.
There were a couple of rudimentary puzzles to do, and you have an arrow gizmo which you have to shoot sometimes, since apparently you cannot use any of your other inventory, even though the items look as if they would be useful. Before you shoot, you have to solve a mind-numbingly simple slide puzzle, to make a path for the arrow. Snore.
I would be amazed if anyone makes it through the entire game in one sitting.

Ok...it is solitaire, kind of, but does it have to be THIS boring? Plus...it is impossible to win. The deal puts a big load of cards on the table, and only gives you a small stack from which to play. Also, matching pairs is tedious! The dev should have given an option to play other kinds of solitaire as well.
The graphics are nice-ish, but bland, avoiding any bright colours.
I'm afraid I did not get to the end of the demo, so it is possible that the game improves. I only played about ten levels, and I didn't win any of them.

I just love these vacation games (also the park ranger ones). They are relaxing and yet challenging. There is no time limit and you do need a bit of time to find the little items and the recycling (which is my favourite part). The mini games are much better in this new edition. The last two had annoying slide puzzles fairly often and I found them impossible and always had to wait for the skip button to fill up. This time, you only have to do the slide thingy once. There are some quite challenging match puzzles that are fun and I loved the vertical puzzles. I have played the previous park and cruise games a zillion times (hey, that's a real number) and am glad to add this one to my games. Really fun!

What fun! This game is so cute and creative....loved it! The art work is fantastic and way out there, which makes this different from your usual girl-needs-rescuing entry. The HOs are interactive and fun. The puzzles are mostly simple and charming. I love the different and unexpected places the story takes you and am looking forward to seeing what's next. The demo is quite long so you can really get into it. Loved it...don't understand the bad reviews. Try it and see.

The game play in this is a little disjointed. You get slugged by someone; wake up and are transported to somewhere...who knows... Some things are really high or far away, but you can still reach them, some things look about the same distance but you cannot get them without some thing to help you. Some places you can jump off a three story building with ease, but sometimes you can't get down one story. Also, what is with the fighting with runes thing?? A lot of things in this game just seem like extra fluff that makes no sense. Sometimes, people talk to you and other times lips come up and you have to click on them...sometimes you have to choose dialogues although you must choose all options, so why bother with the screen for that?? The mini games a totally simple. Go find a clue as to how to arrange balls, then just click on them...sheesh! Put puzzles together...yawn. And the most annoying part is the little notice that comes up each time you find a hidden skeleton doll...aargh...it lasted for a full 8 seconds. I know, because after awhile, I started to count. All in all, I found this game annoying and silly. Pass.

What fun! I somehow missed the first one of this series, but I will go back and try that now. I love the narration and the humour of the whole thing. It is really more of a puzzle game than HO, but it's so cute and interesting, that you are pulled in right away...gotta see how this ends! The cartoon graphics are well done, and the writing is excellent. I love the way you watch the Princess and the Prince in action separately and then together...sort of like an Abbot and Costello film. Really fun..highly recommend!

Well, I would really have liked this game. I always love seeing classic works of art, and the premise is cute, someone running around adding amusing and anachronistic items to the paintings. That said, this has major annoyance factors. You can only play in timed mode, and the stuff that you need to do is very slow and clunky. It is slow to pick up and lay down the tools that you use and you cannot just go all over the painting picking out the added items first, then correcting them, you must complete one at a time. Also, as soon as you pick up a tool a mosquito or something flies into the frame and in order to swat the thing, you have to put down your tool. I only managed to fix 2 paintings before I ran out of time on one. As this is stressful to me, I never buy anything that is only in timed mode. If only the developers had added a relaxed mode, I would have rated this at least a 4. Sorry, but it's not for me.
