What is with these Clutter games? They are absolutely heinous, the frenetic music is enough to crack the most hardened player, and the visuals make you blind...BUT... I - must - have - it!! (Insert zombie face here)
Once I start to play I cannot stop. I've stayed up way late into the night...it's hideously addictive.
I have them all, but this one looks to be the best. There are a lot of avenues to explore, but you have to start with the gold mine section, and as I stopped to buy it, then write this review, I have no idea yet where the other caves may lead. I probably won't see the light of day for the next week!
For once, I agree with the majority, who give 5 stars. This game is really fun and deserves the rating. I love the straight forward HO aspect of this game. The story is the usual...save the town, but it does not drag out nor is the dialogue intrusive as in most new games now. The occasional bit of paper found with a secret spot on it adds a fun new twist and the mini games are cute and not overly difficult. You do get a cute critter helper, but he does his job without being told to, and is not bothersome or slow, so we can let that slide this time. The graphics are beautiful and the sounds and voice overs are excellent. (except for the first scene, with a really whiny voiced girl) I am definitely buying this one with a coupon, as I am getting quite tired of the serial titles and CEs with all the bling attached. I would quite like it if the HO games started to return to the slightly old fashioned style shown in this one. Good job!
I recommend this game!

The Big Secret of a Small Town
Find out what is hidden behind the mysterious disappearance of the Mayor.
Man, what a stupid game! The graphics are cartoon style and not very clear. The things you need to find are tiny; could have used a magnifying glass. There are no HO scenes in the demo, you just need to try to follow the story and solve things as you come to them. I mostly used the hint button, which basically tells you where in general to look for some miniscule item. And if any logic was applied to the mini games, it certainly escaped me. The story is only marginally better than the rest of the game, but still not very good...the only good thing I can say for this game is that I liked the voice in the introduction...kind of sounded like Vincent Price. I actually have a hard time believing this is new release. Really a very poor entry...sorry.

Wow...this has to be one of the best M3 games I've ever encountered! It's HUGE! It is a building, quest and adventure game with a lot going for it. The graphics and voices are adorable, to start with. The M3 boards are really enormous and if you play on the relaxed mode you get to explore the whole board; there are treasure chests and goodies to find under the boxes, paths to clear, mines to collect gold and ores, sequences to match for prizes...so much happening, it's hard to cover it all. I am not sure how one would play on the timed mode, as I did not get a chance to try before my time on the trial was up. But the part I did was immensely fun! The matches are quick, which is a must, and the screen scrolls in the direction of the matches you make, although you can skip around with an upgrade. This M3 is so complex, I'm sure I have left out a lot of the extras....you gotta try this if you like more than a straight M3. I have never seen the likes! Really, really well done!!

Now that's a good game! The graphics are, as usual, beyond excellent from this dev, and the game itself has some nice twists. The HOs are interactive; sometimes you think you are done and it takes you to another section of the same scene, or adds more objects after you have cleared the first list. The premise is not that unusual...town in distress, stop the madman...etc...but the play is really good and the mini games are excellent..really quite challenging. I had to skip most of them in the demo, but am really looking forward to going back to work on them when I have more time. There are the usual bling things for a CE. Collectibles and achievements, bonus chapter, art etc. The map is useful and I am happy to say, there is no cutesy helper. The music and sound effects are outstanding. Love the creepy tense tune! Really fun.

This is a really fun M3. The graphics are very cute and the play is a little bit different from the standard M3. I found it interesting to try and figure out which way the tiles would fall, as they do not always go the way you think they will. This is a building M3, which is always entertaining. You are a kind of Mayan Romeo, building a better village for the father of your Mayan Juliet. There are upgrades that you earn along the way and as you build different things, then of course you get more things to collect on the board. The only slight drawback is the teeny, tiny HO scene that you do once in a while, and that can be skipped. I tried to collect the items listed, but I always had to skip eventually, as the items are really obscure. There is the occasional pick from the Mayan God's glowing orbs (I think that's what he is supposed to be) and you are given bonus amounts of items or money. Very fun and adorable. Lots of brainless entertainment...that's what I like, now and then.

If there is any difference between this game and the first one, I cannot find it. It is, in my opinion, exactly the same as Knight Solitaire, which I do enjoy...but why would I want to buy it twice? Come on devs....at least change the backgrounds or something.
I can't understand why some reviewers give everything 5 stars...that is just not helpful!
I would only recommend this game to those who have not purchased the first edition.

Why, oh why, do developers try to sell M3 games that move at a snail's pace and that will not allow the player to make moves while the tiles are falling?? This could be an entertaining game if it were not for the slow paced action, that makes you feel like you are running in sand. There seem to be lots of different quests but I couldn't really understand the need to fulfill them. There are things to buy, but again, I wasn't sure why I would want them. The instructions, other than the obvious directions on how to play M3 games, are murky. The graphics are cute and the M3 screens certainly are bright, all be it simple....but I just found the whole thing irritating. Sorry, but I'm giving it a thumbs down.

Well...nothing like a drowning sister to bring on the Christmas cheer! I felt rotten the whole time I was playing the demo. As other reviewers said, I am sure the almost dead sister will return and things will be rosy, but still...what a downer. How about stumbling across a kid left all alone in a rotting house...peeling wall paper, no fire or food...now that what I call Christmas! As for the hype written by BFG, come on! Never seen anything like it?? Only about a zillion times! Family member missing for years, you gotta rescue...snore. We are in desperate need of a new story line in these games! The play was fine, I guess, and the graphics were good. Nothing outstanding, though. If you want to play a Christmas bummer, then knock yourself out...but this was no fun for me, sorry. I'll stick with the Nutcracker Christmas game!

Another one of those solitaire games where, after a few easy levels, the cards are dealt in stacks of a zillion cards, and you can't tell how many are left in each pile. The game simply goes on and on. Also, not sure what the black cards are that it gives you once in a while, but I couldn't use them for anything, so they are not wild ones. This is a standard up and down card game with some sort of fairy-esque story...didn't really bother with it. There are some things to find under the cards, and some achievements, I think. But honestly, the play is so frustrating that who cares about the other stuff? I hate a solitaire game where you keep turning up the same cards, too. Eventually you can end up with all 5s face up, for example. Also, there is a mini game stuck in between levels occasionally, but I found them really silly. It's a big no from me. Blech!
