This game has been fully reviewed by others. My issue is length and others merely pass it by with a short "it is a short game". I am the fool though who desperate to play something did buy (good job I had some credits otherwise would have thought twice). Come on now BFG either give us a decent length game or stop asking for CE prices, Not right that merely including a bonus chapter that in reality belongs in the main game. PLEASE also tell the developers that by increasing the pages on the strategy guide certainly does not fool me. They are merely trying to make a short game pass for a CE. About time things changed there has been enough said but little material difference. Recommended game but as said before if you can resist wait for a special offer.

Whilst there are mixed reviews on this game, I thought I would add mine as I see it. I believe that we are getting less but are expected to pay more. The game is as I rate it no better than okay. As for the stained glass puzzle this is a repeat from another game I recall playing so is not new. The puzzle pieces are hard to find and whilst I do not expect or want them easy some are very hard to locate. I am not that worried as I rarely worry about a jigsaw puzzle at the end. I think that because we are not getting the same amount of games we once did, I have not been as critical as perhaps I should. The MCF games were one that historically you could rely upon for both length of and a challenging game. Clearly there is not the same investment being made in my chosen catergory of game. A lot of expert players have given similar reviews of this and other games yet it would seem it is hitting on deaf ears. I have said I would not recommend, this is based on value for money. It again for me is overpriced for what it is.
I don't recommend this game.
Join experienced detectives to help solve riddles and investigate one of history's greatest heists!

I read the first review and thought it must be me as I thought this games was frankly as I scored it - poor but I do respect we all have different likes and dislikes. It is certainly not worthy of a CE even with the discount. This is not a new game either as I played it somewhere else and it was released there some time ago. As a side what happened to the MCF game whats the point of advertising it and then not releasing it.
Just for BFG I am reluctant to renew game club again until you either do renew as it says "within the hour" or update your website. Thank you

This is not a detailed review and I give a general view only. There are others who will give you spoilers but all I will do is give you my overview. This game is much better for me and got the gray matter working. Some I think may find it more challenging than they would like but I was playing on the hard game setting. For the first time in a long time the game is of a better length and all in all worth a buy certainly better than some we have been getting recently.
I recommend this game!
Visit a brand-new fantasy world where your decisions matter!

When I started this game I thought here we go again. The first HO game to me looked as though it was merely sketched and developers could not be bothered to finish it and the items were too difficult I think to find. That said the game did not continue in this vain and all in all is not bad. I know I repeat myself but I have been playing some of my older games and they make me realise that the challenge now is simply not the same, the storylines are a little lame and the overall quality and certainly the length of the games is lacking. This is just to give a heads up and as said not the worst game we have had recently and much better game for Domini than some of their recent attempts
I recommend this game!

This game is okay and will be good for those new to the HO adventures. For me however as as long standing member, I found it a little too easy and again rather short.
As we have recently not had a great selection of games in my favoured categorys, I have been played some of my older purchased games and boy do I notice the difference. The games are all at least 6 or 7 chapters and far more immersive and a challenge and last a lot longer.
For me it seems we are paying a lot more since this new system has been introduced and the games in general are not worthy of the increase.
This is not to say that this game will not challenge some, there are a good mix of HO and puzzles and as I am not into spoilers I will leave it to others should they wish to elaborate.

I reported that even though a game club member, I was not getting any of the so called perks as already mentioned before.
I thought it had been sorted but sadly no and another one to add to list of errors that I have been suffering with recently. Prices alll gone up a lot for me based in UK as well

Thank Goodness, I only paid using credit given for what so far for me has been far from the normal service. I have just started this game and the first HO and puzzle I have played before on another HO game by the same developer. This misrepresents that this is merely collected puzzles and HO in the main from other games by the same developer.
I get the impression that the developers and BFG want the money without any proper investments in the customer.
SHAME.
I have not rejoined my membership and thank goodness I did not. I was a long standing member and would like to think that someone at a high level at BFG reads this as in the long term I have no doubt they will be the loser.

Not only can I only play the trial, because I cannot download new games or access my purchase library, this game is so "same as". Not worthy of a CE and the only purpose of my review is to let others know that you are not alone in the issues you are having and now this is the only forum we have of getting it out there. Clearly something is amiss with BFG at the moment with the customer bearing the brunt.
I don't recommend this game.
The tenacious trio takes on a master of the occult!

I am an avid fan of these type of game. Since the pandemic I have noted with have gone down in the number and quality of the games but this game is the biscuit. The whole strategy guide is only 28pages one page of which is for collectibles. The game is same old same old and for me was far to easy. The strategy guide does not work properly in that the instructions for the mini games are not in sync with the actual mini game being played
We have been in a pandemic for so long now it leads me to believe the developers are getting complacent at best or lazy. How on earth this can be viewed a CE edition I sball never know. Think I will consider a break if they do not improve.
