My review is short and I hope sweet. Yes as with any game there are personal preferences, I feel that for after a very long time this was a game worthy of a CE price. It was longer than many have been for some time and for me a fair challenge with a good storyline and graphics. I don't disagree with some others comments however so pleased that the developers and BF have given a good game worthy of the CE status
I recommend this game!

With this game you need to be more in to the puzzles and HO unless the middles ages is your thing. The voice overs are so stilted and the game itself seems a little dated in that there are no great graphics etc - just seemed rather basic. Again given I have finished the game in just over 2hours it is not for me good value for a CE. The collectibles are quite easy to find and add little to the experience. Not one of the better games but okay. Again when playing the demo you think at last 7 chapters a good length game but no. The developers are now just splitting the game into smaller chunks to give the impression you will be getting a longer game.
I don't recommend this game.

I used to love this series of games given I felt they were good value and generally a reasonable challenge for me. This game gives a demo which seems long leading you to believe that the full game will be likewise, but alas no. Three other relatively short chapters plus an ok bonus. I cannot see why the developers think we are not intelligent enough to see that either four chapters quite short or as in some other games 6 chapters but all very short still leads to the same answer - Not a good CE
I really look forward to a CE edition as it used to be. Playing some of my older games show just what value we are now missing upon.
I don't recommend this game.

The previous review is far more comprehensive than mine. I have played the game with some tech issues which have reported. It seems to me that this game was made utilising a lot of previous game screens. Even with the tech issues which to be fair BFG are very understanding about I found that there was too much emphasis on the storyline and not so much on the game content.
The HO were all similar and could have benefited by a bit more variety. The puzzles were good but would not challenge all. Overall this is a good game but you are paying a CE price for in affect three chapters given the first is in the trail version and there are two others plus the bonus left for you to encounter

The other reviews give a fairly balanced view of the game itself. It has been for some time that games have become shorter and shorter. This one simply defies the others three chapters infact two as one is in the demo. CE editions are infact SE in length with a strategy guide. I think that as a seasoned HO adventure gamer, the only way for me is to take a raincheck for a while. I have looked at some older good games which have a minimum of 8 chapters and some twelve. However good the graphics and or plot this does not compensate in my view for a lack of content. Game okay as said but developers should in my opinion take heed to avoid a future loss of interest

I have just finished the first chapter. Seems given 7 chapters this may be the first game for a while worthy of the CE price, providing of course the chapters are of a good length and is not a four chapter game merely split up. Graphics excellent, storyline seems good and challenge should keep most happy. voice overs lack a little emotion and seem a little stilted. From what seen would recommend
