As it has been like forever since BFG has had a good TM game, I am giving this sequel 5 stars. One of the reasons is that the developer stepped outside their old box and gave us something a bit different. Although I wasn't crazy about the 'moving' game set, I found the game fun and challenging. As you move forward, it becomes more difficult and frustrating #seriously, how fun would it be if it were easy?#.
Again, is it the best TM game I've ever played? No, but it is better than the never ending HOG that seems to assault us on a daily basis.
I was thrilled to see a TM game today, and because of that, it is one of the reasons I'm giving the game 5 stars. Just MHO ;)
I recommend this game!

After having played some amazing games lately (Nevertales, Mystery Case Files, Christmas Stories), this was an amazing let down. I don't like giving low reviews because I think of all the hours developers spend to put these games together, but honestly, this was not a pleasant way to spend time at all. I didn't even finish the trial because I was not enjoying the game. Definitely not a game I would purchase even as a SE.
I don't recommend this game.

I absolutely love the Adelantado trilogy! No, I haven't completed the 3rd and final (waaaaaa) installment, but I've played enough of it to know I will be spending hours playing it. I still go back time to time and play the 1st two installments; still fun and still challenging. I only hope Realor will come up with a new game that is as good as Adelantado!

Love me some Island Tribe 5. I love that it is not so hard that you want to just quit, but has the challenge that makes you play a level over if you don't make the top scores. Only complaint is that a couple of the levels make it almost impossible to find the extra stuff like the 3 pieces to make up the thingie (I don't know what it's called) and on another level, it is so far, impossible for me to find the extra thing that shows up on the left hand side when the level starts. I've tried 5 times and still cannot find it ... grrrrrr ... But, I know it's there and that is what make this game fun and challenging. Great job Island Tribe :)

I absolutely TM games, and have to say that Northern Tales 2 is one of the best this year. I love a challenge, and this game meets that criteria and then some. Having said that I love a challenge, I also love a game where is doesn't take 40 tries to beat a level. Even after watching youtube to see how to beat a level, it would still take me several more tries in order to beat the clock. As I said, I love a challenge, but sometimes I think developers take it to the extreme.
Having said that, I will keep trying to get gold on each level regardless of how many times it takes to beat the clock. Just wish it didn't take like 20 tries to do so. A challenge is one thing, frustration is another.
All that said, Northern Tales 2 is one of the best TM games of 2013 no doubt! Will it win best TM of 2013 ... don't know as I think Moai: Build Your Dream was just as good, if not better ;)
I recommend this game!

I usually read reviews before even trying a game. After seeing all the 5-star ratings, I couldn't wait to try this game. After about 10 minutes, I was done. I honestly do not understand why people find this game so outstanding. It was boring, didn't make sense, and the graphics were just so-so. Are people just totally bored with the games coming out to give this game such a high rating?? Nevertales blows this game out of the water and even it didn't get the ratings this game does. I rarely, if ever, give a bad review, but I honestly don't get what people see in the game. Guess I expect better for my money... just sayin' ;)
I don't recommend this game.

I love TM games, so I bought this awhile back with another game. I completely forgot I had it but so glad I remembered. This is not an easy game to beat the clock, so if you have no patience or determination, this game is not for you. Quite a few of the levels are very difficult, and had it not been for y o u t u b e, I wouldn't have been able to beat the clock. Even after watching the correct way to win the level, it would take me several more tries. I love a challenge, so I was determined to beat every level. After many hours and days, I finally beat them all (Level 41 took me several days to finally win). I absolutely got my money's worth on this game and wouldn't mind a sequel.
I recommend this game!

At first, I didn't think I would like this game, but the more I play it, the more I like it. It is very challenging! I will attempt each level several times trying to determine which 'bonus' to use and which way to go. After about the 6th time, I go to y o u tube and watch the right way to go. Even after watching a number of times, it takes me another 3 or 4 times before I can beat the level #I like the timed option#. That is not to say that I couldn't beat any of the levels without a little help, but each level does take thought and patience. I like TM games that make it a bit more difficult. After all, what fun would it be if I could beat every level within the time limit without a challenge. I am definitely getting my money's worth ;)
I recommend this game!

I'm so happy to see BFG bring out more TM games lately!! As far as Kingdom Tales, this is a fun, challenging game. It is not as good as Viking Saga, Moai, or Rush for Gold: Alaska, but well worth the money/credit/coupon. It took me awhile to figure out that if you see the eagle, then it will fly over the area where the hidden chests are located (just before the eagle flies in, you will hear his call#. Even then, you have to keep your eyes pealed for the path the eagle takes because there will be a little sparkle in those areas. Unfortunately, sometimes you are so busy trying to beat the clock #I like playing timed even though the game has a relaxed mode), you miss the sparkles. All in all, I'm glad I got the game as it will give me hours of fun.

I love TM games, and this one is very good but challenging. I have had to start over quite a bit because it really does take some imagination and strategy to get 3 stars. Although there is no walkthrough, whenever I get really frustrated because I think I've tried everything, I just go to you tube, put in the title and the level #. Is that cheating? I don't think so; no more than using the Strategy Guides in HO games ;) This was fun!
