Finally, a game that made it reasonably able to meet the achievements while giving a decent story line. There were times I literally jumped when things happened. Was it the most difficult game ever... no. But, I for one, enjoy a game that gives a chance at meeting all the achievements. I actually enjoyed this game more than the recent MCF game which I found difficult and boring. Yep, like this one a lot!
I recommend this game!

For the 3nd year in a row, I was excited when I opened BFG to see the latest MCF only to be disappointed within the first hour. I agree with other reviewers who talk about the first Dire Grove and the Ravenhearst games; the fact that BFG was by far the best developer of MCF games. I also agree that, for the most part, I love Elephant games, but since they took over the development of MCF games, it just has not been the same. I guarantee that next year, if another MCF is released, I will not buy it unless I see a return to BFG developers alone. And, another thing that really ticks me off. At the end of the year, BFG will name this MCF game the "game of the year" simply based on sales, not on actual customer reviews. Let the people decide what the game of the year should be like BFG used to allow!
I don't recommend this game.

I love TM games, and this did not disappoint. It is not as difficult as some, but it did challenge me on a number of levels. Several levels I had to play over and over before I finally got the "gold". I loved the first Kingdom Tales, and this one is just as good. Definitely a keeper ;)

I knew the minute I say that this was the "Release of the Day" that I would buy it, and I'm sure happy I did! I didn't even play the trial, just went right to buy. The game starts out very similar to the first 2 installments, but by level 10, I realized this was going to take some serious strategy to beat the clock - love TM games!.
I had just conveyed to BFG 2 weeks ago about the lack of TM games, and in one week, two of the best have been released #the other being Royal Envoy.
If you like TM games, you are going love this game! Try it; it won't be sorry!

As a lover of TM games, I was really happy to see Northern Tales 3 as game of the day. I was also apprehensive as so many sequels don't live up to their predecessors. Not so with this game.
Yes, it is similar to the 2 previous games; yes, you do clear paths and destroy power stones; and yes, the 'facts' about Vikings are repetitive. But, I found the game fun and challenging #I play 'timed' and do not use the ability to click multiple activities#. I had to restart a number of levels in order to beat the clock.
I find the graphics entertaining as well. There are little rabbits or creatures among the land scape, eagles soaring, and moving streams. It always amazes me when I really look at the graphics and imagine the amount of work that went into the development of these games #and all games# from conception to development to testing to release. I don't think people stop and realize just how much work does go into developing the games.
Bottom line, I love the game. Congratulations to the developers! Looking forward to Northern Tales 4!!

Love, love, love this game! I do like TM games very much and have been waiting for a game such as this. Although the last few TM from BFG have been fun, they were either too easy, too hard to beat time (almost impossible w/out u tube) or just the same old type game. This game is similar in that you have to remove obstacles, construct buildings, and all within a certain amount of time, BUT there is a difference. It's hard for me to describe it but I'll try. There are levels where you have to figure out how to get through tunnels or take different paths to continue the game. I think a lot more strategy is necessary to beat the clock which, IMHO, makes the game more fun and exciting. There are levels I have had to play 4-5 times before I could beat the clock (personally, I like that since it gives me more playing time for the money and makes me think.# The graphics are great! Love the level with the octopus and the soldiers trying to break down the wall. If you have time while playing, check out the different things going on each level. I would give this game 10 stars if I could! #Oh, and you can play w/out the timer as well, which would give you more time to look at the animation on each level.) If you like TM games, you will LOVE this one!
I recommend this game!

As it has been like forever since BFG has had a good TM game, I am giving this sequel 5 stars. One of the reasons is that the developer stepped outside their old box and gave us something a bit different. Although I wasn't crazy about the 'moving' game set, I found the game fun and challenging. As you move forward, it becomes more difficult and frustrating #seriously, how fun would it be if it were easy?#.
Again, is it the best TM game I've ever played? No, but it is better than the never ending HOG that seems to assault us on a daily basis.
I was thrilled to see a TM game today, and because of that, it is one of the reasons I'm giving the game 5 stars. Just MHO ;)

After having played some amazing games lately (Nevertales, Mystery Case Files, Christmas Stories), this was an amazing let down. I don't like giving low reviews because I think of all the hours developers spend to put these games together, but honestly, this was not a pleasant way to spend time at all. I didn't even finish the trial because I was not enjoying the game. Definitely not a game I would purchase even as a SE.
I don't recommend this game.

I absolutely love the Adelantado trilogy! No, I haven't completed the 3rd and final (waaaaaa) installment, but I've played enough of it to know I will be spending hours playing it. I still go back time to time and play the 1st two installments; still fun and still challenging. I only hope Realor will come up with a new game that is as good as Adelantado!

Love me some Island Tribe 5. I love that it is not so hard that you want to just quit, but has the challenge that makes you play a level over if you don't make the top scores. Only complaint is that a couple of the levels make it almost impossible to find the extra stuff like the 3 pieces to make up the thingie (I don't know what it's called) and on another level, it is so far, impossible for me to find the extra thing that shows up on the left hand side when the level starts. I've tried 5 times and still cannot find it ... grrrrrr ... But, I know it's there and that is what make this game fun and challenging. Great job Island Tribe :)
