Don't expect Eipix or Elephant Games quality graphics here, the emphasis is on the storyline, which is far more interesting than most CE games. The only irritating factor are the directional arrows which never go away, but other than that, a good little game.
Based on the demo, there are no fairies or vampires or evil wizards, and no portals to another dimension. The usual excellent Eipix graphics and music. Wish the developers knew a bit more about Montana geography, but at least the buildings do not resemble an eastern European village. A definite buy.
A contender for favorite game. The plot makes sense, the graphics are different than the increasing repetitive Elephant games efforts, and the music fits the story. And best of all, I got it for a free game credit!
If you are a fan of pink and purple fairies or of the great graphics of Eipix or Elephant games, this game is not for you. It's reminiscent of the claustrophobic and paranoid Lost in the City games, but far better game play. Great if you're into gloom and madness.
Excellent graphics for a "seen it before" storyline set on a ship. Easy game play, logical use of found items. The Duchess sounds like a man, but other than that, no glaring defects.
Great graphics, someone did their research on the fifties! Intelligent storyline. Wish the developers would drop things like put battery in flash light, turn on headlights, as it just slows the game down. But this one is a definite buy!
Cartoonish graphics, the story line is derivative from Harry Potter and any other teen magic efforts, and I lost interest in the first three minutes. Not a game for thinking adults.
