The story line wanders from a caravel docked in a middle European village to an English country manor in the 1920's to Tibet, where everything is either completely frozen or the trees are in full bloom. The graphics are good, especially the birds and squirrels, but if you're looking for a strong story line, look elsewhere. I bought it half off because I just wanted to see how silly it could get!
The first Grim Façade was quite good, but the storylines have deteriorated over time. The "memory device" is tedious, and the constant violence is off putting The only character I root for is the cat. Perhaps the game picks up where the demo ends, but based on the demo, this is one Façade I will not look behind....
No sweeping vistas or grandiose background music, but an interesting story line even if it has been done before, and the small town looks like an American small town, rather than a village in Bavaria. I'm using a free game on it. Recommended for people who like to think, not emote.
Based on the Demo: Easy game play, good graphics, and an adult story line. You'll catch the pop culture references right off, but it's worth buying (when a discount is available)
But this game is worth it. Excellent graphics, interesting adult oriented story line (no pink and purple fairies or talking dormice) I'm still not sure how Aunt Gray is a Gray, when the first game had her sister marrying someone named Gray, but all in all, it's a great game!
I recommend this game!

Haunted Legends: The Dark Wishes Collector's Edition
Restore the threads of Fate, before they cause a disaster!
Magicians, an evil dwarf, romance, an execution, the story line is incoherent. I am basing my opinion on the very short demo, perhaps the game coalesces when played all the way through.
Perhaps if this game had not been released right after Fear for Sale: Endless Voyage I would not have noticed the storyline similarities. The endless exposition of plot points and having to click three or four times to finish a task (removing a screw, mending a boat) is tedious. Granted, I am basing my opinion on the demo, perhaps the game picks up speed later on. I'll wait until the regular version comes out and use a game credit.
No pink and purple fairies or portals. Graphics and music are what one expects from Elephant Games. Simple puzzles, lots of extras to slow someone one as you look for picture pieces, morphing objects and masks. All in all, a good weekend game.
I recommend this game!

Mystery of Neuschwanstein
Accompany Sarah and Professor Adler through the stunning rooms, halls and cellars of the historical castle of Neuschwanstein!
Very basic graphics and simple puzzles, the HO are very small and hard to see, but if you like games based on real history (but with a twist, of course) this is worth a free game coupon.
Kudos to the artists, for once a storyline based in the U.S. looks like it could be, and not in an eastern Europe market town. The characters are varied, and the bonus game play is excellent.
