If you're into purple and pink fairies and mystic portals to another dimension, this game is NOT for you. Easy game play, and a coherent story line, and if you're a Downton Abbey fan, you'll recognize one of the main characters.
For years, Barton Mansion sat abandoned, a haunting reminder of an obsession gone wrong. But something sinister still lurked there...and it's stirring.
Keep building, and we will never die. The house is a character unto itself, and after finally listening to the opening cinematic, I am reminded of crazy old Sara Winchester and her never ending house building (in San Jose, look it up) Good game, keeps your attention.
Searching for your kidnapped daughter, and along the way you save lost souls. Nice graphics, simple but not too simple puzzles, and the HO make sense in how they are used to further the story. If you like pink and purple and fairy land, this is for you.
I bought this with a soon to expire free game credit. The story is disjointed, as if the developer had bits and pieces of other games left over and put an alleged Christmas story on top of it.
I don't recommend this game.

Reveries: Soul Collector Collector's Edition
Your wedding day gets interrupted when your fiancée is kidnapped!
Based on the demo (cause I ain't buying it#. This is a routine and rather tired tale of good versus evil and someone splashed a few references to Christmas #the secular variety) on it to make it saleable in December. If you want Christmas, stick with Elephant Games Christmas Tales, not this bundle of nonsense.
First, no pink and purple fairies. However, why "Mistwalkers" for an allegedly English village? A coven of homegrown witches would have served just as well. You can see the Elephant Games touches (please, have characters move occasionally, standing about in sub zero temperatures is rather silly) The puzzles are great, and thanks for NOT having morphing objects (beyond the houses) to distract from game play. Over all, great for the holidays.
Same old same old, even down to the voices (please, get someone else for the male voices!) I'll wait for the cheap version (finding extras is just tedious) The best part is the rampaging giant eel!
And no magic dust either. The story line is just that, a story, not a fairy tale. The ambiance is reminiscent of a fifties detective movie, and the lurking horror is rather like Slender Man (Google it). At last, a game that doesn't insult the player's intelligence. It should have been a CE!
