I have liked all the series I have played. This one reminded me of things about Hawthorne I had either forgotten - or the writers made up! Anyway, much better than I had expected since Salem and witches can be so overdone.
You are accused of witchcraft and must save yourself and your mother. Decent historical references, although a bit of back and forth. Sound is helpful at times.
yes, it's another creepy one. Vampires? Haunted house? FBI agent visits location of personal nightmares. This has a cool backstory. Do play with sound ON.
I was disappointed. I went back and forth so many times. The map did not allow movement. Many items in HOS were obscured and dark - and this on a large screen. There were also somewhat odd items to search and no hints for HOS. The hints referred to objectives and those were very detailed. Detective finds the criminal, of course, and for anyone who reads mysteries, the culprit was obvious. I finished it but can't see playing it again.
Your family is one of musical talent. Your sister, a brilliant singer, is kidnapped. You need to find her, avoid people in hooded capes, and solve various puzzles. Most puzzles are easy. I needed explanations of the goal, but did not skip any. Lots of backtracking and no map to jump. That got a bit frustrating. Help says "nothing here, try elsewhere" messages. Open for obvious sequel. Nothing great, but enjoyable.
You're trapped in a hospital and need to find and rescue others with different special abilities, e.g. telekinesis, ESP. I ended up wandering around a bit and used the blog walk through for help. Weird plot and sometimes odd puzzles. One problem is to get access to the elevator and its floors to save other patients. You still wonder why at the end of the day.
You receive a message to go to your colleague and get to the town to find mechanical creatures terrorizing it. Find your friend and save the town. Sound normal? Not so much. Multiple scientists are missing. You find items - and backtrack a lot - although when I find something I've been looking for I tend to want to use it immediately so that increases the backtracking. The help gives the "nothing to do here" message and shows an arrow for you to leave. It recharges pretty well. I did use the strategy guide, but most of the games you can figure out and some are really easy. Sound was ignorable, if you want to. Extra play is the same as the main game and leaves a chance for a sequel.
Dana Knightstone solves a new plot in Italy. Attractive and interesting, although I did go back and forth a bit. An added possible romance interest for our leading lady, so that was a plus and different from the first. Enjoyable.
Dana Knightstone is an author. This is the first in the series and is almost more adventure than Hidden. I enjoyed learning about the mystery while you follow Dana solving it. Some backtracking, but minimal and logical. I played SE version.
I recommend this game!

This had a interesting plot twist of human and vampire with an obvious opening for a sequel. Switch from night to day to play. Good level of complexity without being too frustrating.
