Dark shadows are rising, the spirits are restless and Lord Strix is back! Travel to his hidden lair and defeat him once and for all—but hurry; he grows stronger by the minute!
It was very short even for an SE. It was not that good. I am on the fence about recommending it. It was something to waste a free game coupon on though.
There was nothing new I wanted to play and I had not played this since it came out. It was worth it. It had been long enough that everything including the puzzles and HOS were new again.
Free the frog princes from the clutches of an evil witch! Return them to their princess brides, and find out if the kiss of love can break the witch’s curse!
I liked most everything about this game. It is well drawn and the storyline was well thought out. I have played the other games in this series and enjoyed them as well.
My only complaint would be that I wish the voiceovers were better. They are so stiff! It sounds as if someone is just reading the words with no meaning behind them. If this had better voiceovers the game would be perfect
I cannot get over the fact that the SG did not have a menu button and you had to scroll through 58 pages to get back to the table of contents. Why buy the CE if you do not get the answers you need regarding morphing objects or help with a HOS?
I have to admit that I again have come across a game that does not give adequate instructions on certain puzzles. After putting in the ravens the final puzzle appears in the bonus round and it made no, I'll say that again, no sense. Again I went to the SG but I still did not understand it.
The bonus was not worth it. I would wait for the SE!!!!!!!!!
I understand that there is a collaboration of talents when making these games. There were a few puzzles that were not adequately explained and seemed completely illogical. The Strategy Guide was generally worthless for this. If not for that frustration I would have given it a higher rating.
I recommend this game!

Ominous Objects: Family Portrait Collector's Edition
A father returns home to find his children missing - all but one, who refuses to say a word...
This game had everything for me. It was visually brilliant. I thought the HOS were good and some of the puzzles were challenging. I think I would rather just collect the coins than decorate a cat room. That was a bit boring and felt immature.
The village of Lumina is in trouble! Defeat your challengers with the help of powerful spells, and find treasures in more than 10 hidden object scenes.
