This lacked the fluidity I expect from a game. For this reason I lost interest. There is something about the artwork which renders everything too small. Sometimes less is more.
I could not finish the demo. I will not purchase this game.
I dislike escape games. Also, I prefer to figure games out on my own without help. This one seemed impossible and illogical. I managed but not enjoyably. It seems to be a game for someone of a different temperament than I possess.

PuppetShow: The Price of Immortality
Your friend vanishes after investigating the mysterious Theater of Emotions.
For 25 years, you thought you had no family. But one night, a man steps through a mirror from another world, claiming to be your uncle... changing your life forever.
I am not a fan of this style of artwork, but this was well done for what it was. The game was o.k. though very predictable. I did like the various wolds concept. One negative was that I had to backtrack continually in order to complete a task. Then again, the map was helpful for jumping.
I thought it was long and the plot did carry it through. The bonus chapter was o.k. but I could have done without the extra gameplay in the garden. That pulled the whole game down.
I was not a fan of the artwork. It seemed a bit lackluster at times. It was as if it was drawn by multiple artists. Maybe it was me but I found it hard to be interested. I could not wait for the game to be over.
I was thrilled however to find that the main characters were hispanic. Hooray for diversity!
This is the second time I played the game but I do not think I will go for a third.
There was so much to do. Even the bonus game was good. I have played this twice now and enjoyed it equally each time. The visuals were stunning, very well drawn. There were HOS but not too many and they were well done. The puzzles were good as well.
I played this again and liked it as much the second time around. The artwork was brilliant and so varied. It was truly remarkable. The storyline itself was excellent. The puzzles were good and the HOS were interesting. It was worth the price of a CE because the bonus was well done also.
Your librarian friend wants your help as a journalist – he’s found an ancient book that is still unfinished. Can you save the world in the book before their story ends?
There was a lot to see and a lot to do. It was a nice game. The bonus game did not have the charm of the main game it felt like a miss mash of busy work.
I played it again and would opt for the SE had I known.
I replayed this and found it quite entertaining. There was something campy in the characters acting. They did not take themselves too seriously despite their perils. It made me laugh. My only negative comment would be about the sound effects. I could not adjust the voices throughout the game so sometime they were overshadowed by the background noises. Also, the use of the saws for effect was so strong I had to hit mute for awhile in order to get through it. For me it was sort of like nails on a blackboard.
